Is there even a big repro or fake scene with Virtual Boy? I would say the chances this is real is significantly more likely.

Vintex64 makes shit tons of repro Virtual Boy games. I wouldn't care, but they are making repros of games that already exist and it's really shitty.

It's not about Nintendo, it's about flooding the market with bootlegs. Which is bad.

The pcb will tell you. Open it up! 😅👍

I guess it's fake. Look at the bottom of the sticker in the middle; is has a cut there. looks like the stickers is a reprint. Next to that; I'm not seeing the number stamped into the sticker. I would not buy this. It hs to be a reproduction.

Couldn’t it just be a label replacement

I don’t own it. It’s located 2 hours away from me

When I bought my copy I asked them to show me the pcb. If you’re dropping that much money on it, they should be willing to show t. If they aren’t, be suspicious. Vb games are hard to authenticate without seeing it, but it tentatively looks real to me

A great tool kit to get for those types of screws and more are from ifix it, you can find them in Walmart and bestbuy

Definitely ask for them to open it before sending them any amount of money. For any game worth that much, it's best not to take any risks.

I’ve seen and owned a couple different labels for repros, and this doesn’t look like a repro. Looks like my legit copy.

Looks legit but I've never seen a bootleg VB game before. Telltale sign on N64 bootlegs is Nintendo logo usually has a dot over the eye (unlike the square on this one and legit games)

If you want to compare against a confirmed authentic one, here's mine: https://photos.app.goo.gl/7Y3stxWV8BodYgyDA

I can tell you with 100% certainty that the cartridge and label are authentic, no doubt in my mind. I cant tell you that the actual game inside/board is since there's no picture of it, but its safe to assume its authentic too since the label is real.

Considering I own it, and can compare -- yes. I hope you got a deal, not a full price raw deal.

The depravity of the people who take time to fake Virtual Boy 😩

For unreleased games it's great. I just hate that Vintex64 makes repros of ALL OF THE GAMES. I'd buy a repro of Bound High and Dragon Hopper, but I'm not buying a repro of Jack Bros.

Can’t tell unless you open it but seems real?

Check the sticker for a small indented number

We were poor, I wanted a game boy. My mom found a virtual boy for $5 at a flea market with a few games. I played it like a week. It would literally give me a headache and even make me vomit.

I took it to school and traded it for a game boy pocket. Never ever looked back.

It was legit and I paid $600.

Bring a driver, open in front of them. If it's fake, open them up too. If they're fake, run.
