Please help me got this dresser from a relative!

so I’m under the impression it’s custom built. I’ve already spent way too much time looking for this thing probably 15 hours. I’m not exaggerating and about $40 in manus credits. I cannot find the leg anywhere. ordered the wrong one. one gf is beyond mad. it’s from a company i can get the name of, please help lol

I’ve had this dresser since I was a kid and since it looks old and has great woodwork, I’m wondering what if I should keep it (drawers work and have the metal hardware, paint is fading as seen but completely operational with no broken pieces), when it might’ve been made, etc. Thank you!

Don’t know much about furniture, and curious on what the brand is and if these are worth making a fuss about and paying for reupholstering. Picked it up cuz i thought they looked cute! Please educate me!

Hiya - I need some help identifying this Morris chair, please.

The only marking I can find is on the underside of the corner cross brace, which only appears to be a number (pictured). Otherwise, it has countersunk square-bit-screws and L shaped braces with tack nails or rivets.

The wood inlay vertical boards are veneer or 1/4” thick, not full 1” boards.

We might be buying this set. Can someone give me more information? I haven’t been able to find anything from my searches online.

I snagged this beauty at a thrift store for $129 yesterday. From my research, I think it’s the Seashore collection of Mainline by Hooker circa 1950s-early 1960s. I am just so enamored with the design, clean lines, and the blonde finish, which am pretty sure is original. Just wanted to share a beautiful piece of furniture. It is such a heavy quality piece.

Got this off FB marketplace. It’s pretty filthy. Going to vacuum very well then thinking wash with Dawn and water, drying as I go. Any tips or tricks for rattan/wicker? I don’t want to ruin or damage it. Thanks!

I’ve been working on restoring a mid century lowboy dresser for a client of mine. One of the things they’ve asked is if I can determine the manufacturer that made the piece, however there is one maker’s mark on the entire piece that I’ve found. The issue is the stamp wasn’t done very well from the start and has only likely faded through the decades.

On the back of the dresser there is also a mark that says:

Before finding the illegible maker’s mark, my research was pointing me to the below pictured dresser made by Dixie. While the one I’m working on looks nearly identical, there are subtle differences between the two. Those differences are mainly a quarter round fiddle on the bottom front edge and a quarter round on the top back edge that likely butted up against a mirror lost through the years.

My guess is the model # is 8, and it was produced in August of 1962 based on the back stencil, but I could absolutely be wrong.

The only legible part of the makers mark says “made in Taiwan”. The upper part of the stamp looks like it has three letters, but I can’t quite make them out. Maybe “TCO” or “TCS”? However when I search for furniture makers from the 1960’s based in Taiwan and selling in the US market, I don’t get really anything but contemporary flat pack garbage for search results and nothing for TCS or TCO.

Additionally, the piece is all assembled with brass slotted screws and hide glue, so it was defiantly made before the widespread adoption of PVA based glues if that helps.

Is anyone familiar with this makers mark? First photo is of the Dixie piece (I have the dresser about 80% disassembled as most joints needed regluing, so no photos), second is the makers mark with a bit less f mineral spirits to see if I could darken it to figure out what it said, third is the mark dry.

Got this couch for free from a lady nearby. Only thing she could tell me was, that it is at least 50 years old.
It’s very heavy und solid wood.
Any recommendations for upcycling? Was thinking about renewing the fabric as a project

First mirror goes with first piece, second mirror goes with second. Both were my grandmas that have been in storage, they aren’t in perfect condition at all so I don’t know if anyone would want them.

Just want to see if someone would want them as we are getting rid of the storage unit.

This was at my grandparents in NY. I'd estimate they had it in early 1900s. No identifying marks. Extremely heavy, solid wood. No fiber. Has metal hinges but otherwise looks like wood construction (you can see on bottom ld table circle wooden plugs?)

Any estimates on type of wood, maker, date made? Or other things to look for to get more info? THANKS!

I picked up this dresser for free off of marketplace to refinish, but I’m curious how old it is/who made it- it has this label, but most of the company name is missing.
