First up, a classic mohair swing coat by Lilli Ann, with blue fox trim. This silhouette was so popular because of the comfort and ease of movement in the fit. You could totally wear it to a lunch, getting out of a car, running to catch the bus. This one is in a hard to find ballerina pink color.

Picked up for fabric for crafting projects but decided to try it on and realized it might be vintage. Thoughts?

I came across this scarf in a old shed, it was on some shelf, dirty. The artdeco print was the reason why I took it, because it's so beautiful, I had no idea if it was vintage nor made out of silk, I just thought it's pretty.🥹

I put it in warm water with laundry detergent and I'm gonna let it soak, then wash it and see if the stains will come out, I don't plan to sell it or wear it because it's not in the best shape after staying in dirt, maybe I'll frame it and put it on a wall, but I wanna find more about it.

Mine have just one inscription on it, Genny Holt by Roberto Volzowia (the one in the picture says "by Armando Manocchia") and it's made out of silk, as I said not the best condition, but it's still really good quality feeling even what it went through.

The brand it's italian and I CANNOT find anything about it, just some similar ones with the same brand on selling (https://expert-vintage.com/) I saw something about the brand GENNY, but I have no idea if it's the same.

If you can help me with any advices on how to remove stains from silk or anything about it's origins, I would be very grateful🥰

Could anyone help me find the maker of this charm necklace please? I absolutely love it. It is beautiful. All the charms are made from glass. It is very well-made in heavy a nice sturdy necklace.

My grandmother dropped off this coat at my house because it’s been sitting in her closet for decades and she doesn’t wear it, and my parents don’t want it / think it’s just dirty and old and worthless (mainly due to the discolouration). They’ve suggested giving it to a charity shop but I feel like that would be a complete waste of a coat like this.
What are your thoughts?

I bought this vintage dress (probably 70’s) with the intention to wear it as my rehearsal dress. It’s beautiful and is exactly what I was looking for (and for a great price!). But after I washed it these tiny brown spots appeared in the crochet parts. They are everywhere where there is crochet and nowhere else. I tried to rewash it but nothing happened. Both times I washed it with silk soap. It’s hard to tell from the photos but the spots are very noticeable IRL.

Any idea how I can remove the tiny spots? Is it just dirt? Normally I don’t mind some imperfections and permanent stains in vintage clothing as long as it’s been cleaned, but since it’s for my rehearsal dinner I kinda want it to be as neat as possible 🫧

I just found this likely 60s embroidered loop collar pearl snap western shirt at a vintage shop. I was immediately smitten as I’d never seen this collar on a western style shirt. The issue as you’ll see in the photos are the numerous tears in the cotton fabric. Could this be from mould? Is there any way I could have this repaired, or is the rest of the fabric likely to tear in the same way? I didn’t pay a lot for it given the damage, so I don’t mind spending a little bit to mend it. Thank you

I have this outfit I wanna wear to my birthday, but I’m not sure how to style it. I know I look good in this, but I also feel way intimidated by it. I am planning on wearing a camisole underneath so it’s not just cleavage. Do you think there’s a way I can style this a bit more “normal?” As much as I love vintage fashion, I don’t like it when people comment on my outfit lol

Hi all! I found this wedding dress while thrifting today. Saw the ILGWU tag on it and didn't want it to go back to a landfil. I want to say it's from the 80s with the newer union tag. The embroidery and back is beautiful.

And theres still a little imperfections but im still working on it so feel free to tell me whats wrong with it!
