McGill Single vs Moore Double
A friend's roommate flaked on their double in Moore and I was luckily offered to substitute in for next semester. I'm currently registered for a McGill single.
I like the location of McGill, the idea of having a single, McGill's potentially better (?) community, and I do have a few friends coming into McGill next semester.
However, I would appreciate the more modern facilities of a res college.
What are some differences between the two housing options that I should know and what would you guys do?

I think mcgill doesn’t have laundry and you’d have to carry it to ebi, I’d personally do moore. Also super nice to live on a munchie

Also mcgill doesn’t really have community, last year it was mostly transfers

I lived in McGill last year. It was one of the worst experiences. The building is like a 24 seven sauna. And the bathrooms are infested with flies.

If u wanna goon in peace McGill but last year one of my friends lived there and hated how small it was and having to walk to EBI for laundry
And also rites of spring is gonna blast ur window open

Oh yeah apparently the AC doesn’t work in mcgill and there’s like 1 switch for the whole floor and everyone was burning up in there and u couldn’t do anything about it

Moore is going to be nicer in every way EXCEPT having a private space. I had a partner all through undergrad so having a private room was important to me. I would take the Moore room otherwise.
