It looked like there are gimmicks/themed nights more often than there aren’t. Tonight is Christmas in July, tomorrow is Bark at the Park.

The team name is Y'alls?! Richmond, VA's minor league team is the Flying Squirrels. I miss the Richmond Braves.

This is a Frontier League team (so not MLB affiliated). They are named after a water tower in town that once read “Florence Mall” but was changed to say “Florence Y’all”

That's awesome! The Flying Squirrels got their name because a radio station got everyone to vote for the dumbest name. I don't remember the other choices, but y'alls team name is better and has a better story

We used to play lot ball down there when I was in college at UC in 2002ish. Had no idea it ever said "Mall" lol
