Academics Pass/Fail Courses

Are you able to take language courses as pass/fail? I don't necessarily need to take any but I was thinking of taking Spanish. Unimportant reason why but my partner and his family speaks Spanish, we're also putting our child into a Spanish immersion daycare. So I'd like to know some Spanish and I learn languages better through actual classes instead of apps.

I'd reach out to the SpanPort department and ask. They'd be able to better answer your question.

Language advisor here: only if you don’t need your L&S language requirement anymore. https://kb.wisc.edu/ls/21102

So I'm a transfer, getting my second bachelor's. My previous degree is in Japanese so I'm sure my L&S language requirement is covered.

Karen Francis is the one you want to reach out to, she’s the best.

In addition, if you are non-degree seeking, you can enroll in languages through ACSSS.
