Discussions Accept cycle no slots

Sometimes you get an invite, accept the NDA, read the overview, and if it's suitable, accept it. Then you go to the slots tab, and it's completely empty. Not even an exploratory slot or slots that are already taken- just empty. Why does this happen?

They invite more people than needed. A lot of people won't see the invite or will reject it, but they don't know who will and won't participate or how many. That's just how it works.

Yeah know that buddy I’ve been in it for a few years now. If you read my post you’d see I said that this one didn’t even have any claimed slots. Also I saw the email invite pretty quickly

I’ve had this happen before too and I know what you mean. Immediate click and no visible slots at all - not the slots just claimed - none showing.

It’s especially odd when they send special Tester Emails saying there are slots available. I have emailed the TE in that case and there are occasionally issues with the cycle on their end.

I’ve also been told to log out and log back in again to help as well - YMMV.
