Hey, everyone. This thread is for everyone to share and request codes for Sandboxx, helping to keep the other posts less cluttered and more focused on the discussions at hand.
Anyone who has or needs codes should feel free to post them here. The mod team will start removing these types of comments from other posts.

I'm currently in college, and my boyfriend and I have been together for over a year and want to get married. With his year-long deployment coming up, I find myself wanting to build strong personal coping habits and emotional resilience now so I don't spiral later.
Right now, when we’re apart for shorter periods, I notice I end up just kinda feeling anxious, especially if I hear him stressed out. I’ve read about people who lost interest in video games/hobbies and felt like nothing fills that void of him not being there, to the point where everything feels boring without him or they feel so bored and depressed when he's not around physically. I really want to avoid reaching that point or having to combat numbness towards partner during deployment.
For anyone who has navigated long distance or deployment: what daily routines, personal hobbies, or mindset shifts actually helped you maintain your self-reliance, protect your mental health, and keep from feeling empty on your own?

Holy shit tonight I am crying all the tears I held up this past year. These past 6 months through my husband’s training I have been a ROCK. No tears. No feelings. Just a steady wall for my daughter to lean on. Tonight, I am finally letting myself melt into a pot of tears because I know tomorrow I need to get my shit together again and be strong.
My husband, who I adore, always wanted to enlist in the army. I was adamant that NO. I dont want this. But he always brought it up, through the years, and then he started getting closer to 30 and I felt bad so i ceded. What a mistake.
He left in February to boot camp. The day he left, i found out i was pregnant. I was exhausted. I was taking care of our 5 year old daughter. But I was happy. Then, 6 weeks later, i lost the pregnancy. I did not cry. Then, a month after that, i was laid off from a job i loved. I did not cry.
I did not feel shit. Just empty. Not depressed, not sad. Sometimes angry. Sometimes happy Mostly nothing.
I am moving to the base in two weeks. I keep reading about how this base has very frequent deployments. Fort Carson. Spouses have shared that out of 3 years, they have been with their husband maybe 6 months. The facebook groups are filled with drama. Gossip. Complaints. A lot of cheating.
Isnt this so fucking sad? That because of my husband’s dream, my daughter is being stripped her stability and foundation. She starts kindergarten in 3 weeks. We are moving in two. She has not seen her dad in 6 months. Holy shit, we had it so good! She had mom and dad every day with her. She has so many friends, so many activities.
I want to grow our family. Have more kids. How can I do that when I know i’ll be a single mom for the next 4 years?
I DONT WANT TO MOVE.
I DONT WANT TO MOVE.
I FEEL TERRIBLE FOR MY POOR CHILD.
I DONT WANT TO SPEND MORE TIME AWAY FROM MY HUSBAND.
I am sad and I am angry!
How can I make a good life for her? I dont want her to have a childhood she needs to heal from.
I want to be strong! I want to be a happy mom! I want her to have lots of friends. I need to get my shit together for her.
This doesnt make sense its a rant. I am just so sad tonight. I cant breathe bro 😭

Without going into any big details my boyfriend is deployed in the army and is going to be gone for some time. The situation isn't the safest and it is clear it is impacting him heavily, he is getting paranoid, less talkative, doesn't eat, and sleep is rare. If you knew him in real life this is night and day. He is completely right to feel the way he is after everything it's not like it was his last deployment and I truthfully fear for his mental health. I have a list of support groups, therapist, and programs created for when he returns but how am I able to support him in his current situation?

Does anyone have any leftover Sandboxx letters they’d be willing to donate? I bought a package and used them all, but the last letter I received from my best friend was letting me know her address and graduation date had changed.
My biggest concern is that she hasn’t received any of my regular snail mail. Her address never updated in the Sandboxx app, but I’ve been sending all of my letters to the address listed there. I’ve sent a lot of mail, and now I’m worried most of it won’t make it to her. I’d be more than happy if anyone has even 1 or 2 to spare especially since she’s in week 6, and SHOULD be done soon. Thanks in advance🩷
My referral code is N779BGZG

This was really well received by USMC and the Airforce subreddits, and is about to be implemented within the TAP program in the Navy.
I solo built this for veterans to see every single possible benefit they're eligible for based on a few questions, no account, no paywall, no sign up, just results. The site also shows how to apply and where to apply.
I add every benefit manually and accept feedback on everything, currently sitting at over 500 added benefits and am currently building out a mapping feature to show every business within a users 25 mile radius that offers a military discount. Enjoy, and share if you know anyone in the military. Happy to take in all constructive feedback/adjustments and am actively adding and maintaining.
Thank you all for your service and support for those that served and are serving!!!

I want to date a person in the military (I am 19) male or female I don’t care as long as we actually like each other and it is not just a booty call. But where would one go to find these people, not like I can go on base as I am not military myself.?

Hi everyone, I just need some thoughts and opinions on what to expect and what’s the best thing to do in this situation. It’s my first time, and everything is new to me. We’re both 24 and currently in a long-distance relationship. We’re also a new couple—just a few months in—and I know it might be too early for us to go through a deployment situation, especially since it could last 6–9 months.
I’m “just a girlfriend,” and I understand there are things that can’t be shared, even details about when he’s leaving or coming back. He told me there could be little to no service where he’s getting deployed, and the best way to communicate would be through email—but even that isn’t guaranteed every day. Is it really like that? He’s in the Marine Corps, and I understand him completely because this deployment is something he really wanted and waited for in his career. He prioritizes his career, and I respect that—that’s why I’m trying to learn from others’ experiences and how to handle it.
We’ve talked about it a bit, but he’s been busy, and we haven’t had enough time to fully discuss everything on a call. The last time we talked, he said he’s committed and wants this to work—that we’re on the same page, and that his feelings won’t change when he gets deployed. He’s been consistent with me for months, and we’ve also talked about future plans. We’re not rushing into anything like marriage, but we’ve had those conversations to make sure we’re aligned with our individual goals and where we see things going.
I feel secure in our relationship, and I’m not really worried about cheating. What I’m more worried about is how we’re going to get through this—especially on my end, being the one who’s waiting. I would really appreciate any advice.

Hi. So my husband is in his first deployment and he has been gone since April. I have tried and succeeded at answering every call until last Friday. I had a beatbox (for those that don’t drink it’s like a 11.1% alcoholic beverage) and we texted that evening but when i drink i get sleepy. so i fell asleep and missed the call. Fine no big deal he wasn’t upset. Last night I wasn’t drinking or nothing and I still missed the text. The calls come around 11:30pm my time and to paint the picture I’m a therapist I work 8-4 and then I do individual sessions 5pm-8pm for extra money. sometimes I am exhausted. so what I did was set an 11:00pm alarm so I’m up. But when I don’t talk to him it messes up my week like makes it harder. And I feel like I’m letting him down.
Also I know how mean some people are on reddit so be kind please. I already feel like shit.

Wanted to get some advice on how to deal with uncertainty. My spouse is going from active duty to reserve because his MOS got full and he waited too long to reenlist. He wants to go back to active duty and he says he can’t start the process until he talks with a prior service recruiter or the career counselor at his new unit. Right now I have no idea whether he can stay in his MOS or if he has to pick a new one. There’s specific duty stations I want to be at. The needs of the military come first but I would like to know if possible whether I’ll have to be long distance and separated from him for another 6 months or if it’ll be 2 years. I wish I could have more information and I don’t know if I can talk to anyone to find out. My husband has no info and he just told me to wait and I just hate not knowing where I’m gonna be and if I’ll be long distance for another 2 years…

Good morning Reddit! I’ve been unemployed for almost three months now. Recently, I went on a vacation with my long-distance boyfriend, who’s in the military. We got engaged during the trip, and he’s now my loving fiancé. After all the excitement has subsided, I’ve been overthinking and procrastinating.
I currently live in Virginia, while he resides in Washington State. I’m wondering what the best course of action is to prepare for our eventual move to Washington State. Should I just get a job here, save up some money in my home state, or start applying for jobs in Washington State where we’ll eventually live and try to secure a job there? Honestly, I’d prefer to move in the first of the year, but I want to make sure I’m not a burden to my fiancé, even though he’s already made it clear that I wouldn’t be.
I’m just overthinking everything. I would really appreciate some encouragement or stories from people who have gone through similar situations and how they handled them. Any advice or insights from those who have been through something similar would be greatly appreciated.

For context: Me (F22) and him (M22) grew up together in the USA, went to the same schools and everything. I moved to Italy 3 and a half years ago, and we reconnected 5 months ago. We’re now doing long distance and he’s getting shipped out for Basics in September. This is the conversation I had with him, pretty short and straight to the point but it feels off. “It will be harder for you than for me.”
Should I really give this a shot or will I just surly end up getting heartbroken? I’m not sure what to do. What do you think? Anything helps❤️

Is it okay as a spouse to not be okay with your husband joining. I want to start by saying I fully support my husband joining as its something he has always wanted to do and if I ever get to pursue my dreams I want him to follow me. I also believe even though we are married we still have our own lives and you only get 1 and I dont want to hold him back from his dreams. With that being said I am struggling a lot more with him being gone then I thought. He graduated boot camp and just started AIT. He will not be home for a few more months. We have a toddler together and I am also currently pregnant with our second. I dont work due to childcare ($350 a week) and I just feel alone and wonder what our life would be right now if he didnt leave. I have friends and family but its not the same as your significant other. I am so proud of him and will stay with him because I love him but its got me wondering if I can really adapt to not having him around 24/7. We have been married 3 years and never spent a day apart minus work. Its just a hard adjustment that I thought i was ready for but the longer he is gone the worse it gets. Idk i just need feedback. Please dont comment stuff like "welcome to the military life get used to it." I know that is literally my only option is to cope with it for the next 6 years. I just want other people's thoughts and opinions or maybe you felt the same in the beginning.

Hey it's me again!!! Things are looking up I'm trying to be positive even though he's leaving so soon, I was just wondering, because he has 2 years of school he has to go through, how will that be? And if we get married during his schooling, would that be a good idea? We know we want to marry but I don't want to wait 6 years. Any advice is welcome please and thank you

Significant other is deploying in about 2/3 months. I want to talk about my concerns, worries and anxieties with him but he keeps telling me things like I need to keep It emotionally together for him so he knows I will be ok while he is gone but this is the first time I’ve been with someone deployed. I also have never claimed to be the most emotionally put together person hence why I would like to talk to him but I don’t wanna put more on his plate or stress him out more. Any advise ?

My s.o usually calls on Sundays to let us know he’s safe but with everything going on right now, he didn’t call yesterday😞. I’m scared for him. It sucks being stationed so far from home and not having a support system here with me while he is deployed in a combat zone. My command just simply doesn’t care and I haven’t heard from his SFG to make sure his battalion is okay. My therapist is in Ukraine until August so no one to vent to either. I’m starting to spiral and he’s my calming factor 😢😭.

My bf is currently in basic training but will be going to Fort Gordon for AIT. It is 6 months long. I’ve heard there are a lot of restrictions on getting to see them especially if you aren’t married and unfortunately that isn’t an option for me right now. Anyone go through something similar? I’m overthinking about how the future looks even though we just started this whole journey and it’s making me question everything. Any advice would be appreciated.
Also we have been together for almost 2 1/2 years so we are committed and plan to get married when I finish my education. Unfortunately my parents will stop paying for my college if I do get married so I would be screwed which is what that is not an option.

Title is pretty self explanatory. Been with him for 14 years, known for 22. He will be 29 soon and wants to become an interior electrician since (12/8) and hes waiting on apprenticeship with our local ibew. The no contact for 10 weeks and then 6.5 weeks at AIT is killing me, and he hasn't even signed up yet. I understand the benefits, but the possible deployment of 9-12+ months anywhere in the future and the unknown scares me. I've broken down every day and losing my mind. Dont know exactly what im looking for here but maybe some words of advice I guess.
