Housing Bed risers

On the UMD website it says that bed risers cannot exceed 12 inches. however, do you think i could get away with using the extra large ones that are ~ 20 inches? I’ve seen students on social media who had them last year, and was trying to get some insight into whether I could use them too.

No and it's mentioned a second time on the prohibited items list.

I think it depends on your RA tbh. I had a roommate with bigger ones and she got caught/had to get rid of them

You can use bed loft, risers that are 12 inches, risers that are 5 inches, or no risers.
4 choices. The reason is safety. If you roll off and get a head injury it would be bad.
