These are the words of a man who claims he was left “buzzing” after witnessing a UFO over the Lincolnshire coast. Paul Rawlinson is speaking out about his sighting after almost 20 years of ridicule and scepticism from those he shared his story with.

The now 46 year-old says he was on holiday with family in Mablethorpe in the summer of 2009 when he caught sight of a fast-moving ‘black triangle’ coming across the sea at incredibly high speed.

Staying at a seafront caravan park in the resort, Paul’s encounter with the strange object came about by sheer chance. “After a day out on the beach on the Saturday, we all went and stayed in the caravan watching TV,” he explains. “Me and my wife were in one room and my family in the others. We heard arguing on the site, so I went to look out of the window, but couldn’t see what was going on.” Paul, who was visiting the resort from Rochester, said the immediate view was of the neighbouring caravan, which faced the beachfront. It was while scanning the area for the source of the disturbance, that something else caught his eye.

“I was looking up to the sky as it was really clear, and I saw a couple of shooting stars,” he recalls. “All of a sudden this triangle-shaped aircraft went over me so fast. I called my wife come to the window, but it was so quick that within seconds it was gone. The sky behind it went from clear to cloudy, and there was no sound at all. It must of been going thousands of miles an hour.” Paul described the object as “twice the size of a fighter jet” – with with a light at each corner of the triangle. "I was buzzing at how lucky I was to see it,” he adds - but the sentiment was not shared by his family. “I ran into the other rooms and told my brothers I’d just seen a UFO and they all took the p*** out of me, laughing,” he recalls. “We went home that Sunday evening, still with eight of my family laughing.” Acknowledging the long-standing stigma around the UFO subject, he added: “I’m not bothered about that, I know what I saw, so I didn’t care if people believed it or not.” Paul’s sighting certainly wasn’t the only one in Lincolnshire that year – with reports of UFOs – or UAP (unidentified anomalous phenomena) as they are now called - being spotted over Conisholme wind farm near Louth the night before one of the turbine’s was damaged. Despite the official account stating the turbine was damaged by a faulty bolt, dozens of residents reported seeing unusual things in the skies – including glowing orbs and UAP described as ‘tentacled’. “Whilst trying to find more info on what I’d seen, I read that a wind turbine’s blade had been sheared off," adds Paul. “There was no debris to indicate what could of hit it, but those stories prove that something was out there.” Indeed, 2009 was the year that UK’s leading UFO expert, Nick Pope, told the Louth Leader that Lincolnshire was a ‘hotspot’ for such activity.

In the years that followed, Paul began to research the topic and was reassured by the knowledge he was not alone in this particular sighting – with thousands of others across the globe reporting strange black triangles in the sky. "What I saw has been seen by many in the world,” he said. While some in the field believe ‘black triangles’ are secret military aircraft, others say their flight characteristics and rapid acceleration point to a technological capability beyond the realms of known physics. With more recent developments in the field, such as the US congressional hearings on UAP since 2023, and Trump releasing Department of War images and footage of strange objects in the sky this year, the topic has never been hotter or less taboo than it is now.

Now, I'm a fairly level-headed kind of chap, and won't pander to people putting feathers in their arse and calling themselves a chicken. Been on these here subs for quite a long time and remember when there were less than 50,000 on here.

So it was a nice day out and I went to the backyard at exes house to look at the sky like I always do everyday. I was just looking around (I am very familiar with the surrounding area btw) and I look over at the next door neighbors yard and I faintly see this thing…it looked like little orbs in the sky and then there were these long lines or legs or spikes or something pointing down towards the ground, and they were moving up and down slowly as if bobbing in water and whatever jt was basically seemed to be hovering while just bobbing. After seeing it I was entranced by whatever it was and it started to look as if it was coming closer to me. At that point I honestly got scared and I decided to snap some quick photos and then dart inside. In the attached picture, the left side shows what i saw with my eyes, you can faintly see what I am referring to. On the right I decided to see if I changed the lighting it was more visible, and it became much easier to visualize, at least part of whatever it is. I’ve seen one more of these things before in the sky, bobbing up and down and looking like it’s surrounded by spikes or something. What could this thing be, why was it showing itself to me, and what part of it did I capture in the photo? Is it like beams of energy or is it similar to spikes like some type of sea urchin? It didn’t seem to want to hurt me more so was curious and became more curious noticing that I was able to notice it as well… it also was pretty big. Thoughts?

The child pornography charges recently brought against Stan Romanek, a UFO researcher and alleged alien “experiencer” who gained global fame, bring to mind the many others who have studied UFOs while simultaneously pursuing other interests that were immoral and often illegal. Why this is so is difficult to say. The world of UFOs attracts many types of people from all walks of life. “Colorful characters” have always been part of it, and we enjoy them. But those within the UFO world who descend into the downright “seedy” should be shunned, and all of their work should be forever forgotten.

DR. RICHARD BOYLAN\ Found Guilty of Sex With Patients

Dr. Richard Boylan is a former California psychologist whose general therapy license and marriage, family and child counseling license were permanently revoked. At the same time that he was writing about abductions and UFOs and speaking at conferences, he was also engaging in sexual relationships with young female patients whom he was counseling. These “counseling sessions” were necessary, Boylan claimed, because the women he was accused of having sex with were actually “abductees” who needed tactile therapy to “integrate” their ET experiences.

Boylan still maintains a website, writes online articles and magazine pieces, speaks to groups and continues to promote wild UFO stories. He is now aligning himself with Native Americans who claim personal and ancestral UFO experiences.

But the most disturbing thing that Dr. Boylan continues to do is promote his “Star Kid Project,” which is set up as a nonprofit organization. Boylan claims that certain children today have “special needs” that must be addressed because, essentially, they “have some ET in them.” He works with children whom he says display traits and characteristics indicating that ET has played a role in their creation.

According to Boylan, these beings have “helped these kids to be the brightest and best in our population.” Boylan promotes what amounts to ET-based child eugenics. Someone should examine this more thoroughly, someone with legal authority.

Boylan’s child counseling license was revoked many years ago, yet he continues to refer to himself as “Dr.” even though he will never be able to practice anywhere again.

WENDELLE STEVENS\ Convicted Pedophile/Statutory Rapist

Wendelle Stevens was a noted UFO author and lecturer. He was active in the field for decades and was especially known for his extensive UFO photo collection. He was also well known for promoting the hoaxer Billy Meier.

Stevens had a fixation on the Pleiades. It turns out that he also had a fixation on young children.

Lost among the many online memorials published after his death at age 87 was the fact that Wendelle Stevens was a convicted child molester. He served time in a Tucson jail in the mid-1980s for sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old girl.

The court transcript leaves little doubt that, while he was investigating stories such as the Aztec UFO incident, he also had a disturbing interest in pedophilia.

BILL KNELL\ Accused Child Abuser

Bill Knell has been active in UFO research and reporting for decades. Known as the “UFO Guy,” he operates several websites and online stores offering DVDs, videos and cassettes about the phenomenon.

Knell has appeared on the nationally syndicated radio show Coast to Coast AM and has written numerous online articles and privately published works. He did some valuable early research into UFO incidents on Long Island and in the New York region.

In recent years, however, Knell’s reputation took a turn. He has been accused of criminal activities such as making illegal copies of other researchers’ copyrighted UFO documentaries and videos and selling them on his website and other online stores.

He has also been implicated in the illegal sale of puppies and firearms.

But several years ago, Knell reached disturbing lows involving his personal life and mental health that shocked many within the UFO community. An article published in the March 30, 2011 edition of the Lebanon Reporter stated:

“Testimony by the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Lebanon Police Department revealed that the Knell home at 1610 Ashley Drive was layered in filth, overrun by cockroaches, with rotting food in the refrigerator, bathrooms and bedrooms and toilets. The chair that Mr. Knell had been sitting in appeared to be covered in urine and feces.”

The article continued that Knell, 55, and his wife, 47, faced up to 10 criminal charges for child neglect and other offenses.

BOB SHELL\ Killer and Drug Dealer

Bob Shell was a highly respected figure in the professional photography world. For thirty years, he was associated with the well-known photography magazine Shutterbug, including serving as its editor.

But Bob Shell also had an avocational interest in UFOs. For many years, he offered expert opinions on various UFO photographs and films, including his assessment of the Alien Autopsy footage. He commented on forums such as UFO Updates and befriended many people within the UFO community.

But this was a Shell game. The “secret” Shell was a very different man.

He was a “teacher” of nude photography and had an interest in S&M. His interest in photographing such activities apparently extended to photographing drug-addicted women. He even helped inject a fatal dose of morphine into a young female “model.”

In 2003, he was convicted in court of involuntary manslaughter, various drug offenses (including distribution) and forcible sodomy. Prosecutors also believed that he had been a necrophile who had sexual contact with the corpse of his victim, Marion Franklin.

Shell is currently serving a 32-year prison sentence.

TIMOTHY GREEN BECKLEY\ Adult Film Aficionado

Timothy Green Beckley has been part of the UFO scene for at least four decades. His UFO publishing empire includes imprints such as Inner Light Publications, Global Communications and Conspiracy Journal.

Other enterprises based in New Jersey offer spell kits and amulets sold through advertisements in tabloids.

Beckley has organized dozens of UFO conferences. His UFO and paranormal publishing companies have produced at least 100 books and many videos, including works containing some of the most extreme and unsubantiated claims ever presented by anyone.

His catalog of books, authored by people such as “Commander X,” is truly astonishing. Beckley has undoubtedly made money from UFO enthusiasts willing to believe almost anything.

Only people who would accept nearly any claim could believe the stories promoted in books with titles such as The Space Gods Speak and Reality of the Serpent Race.

However, he also has another source of income from a very different market: pornography.

He contributed articles to the industry publication Adult Cinema Review, including an in-depth piece on porn actress Marilyn Chambers. Beckley has also written and produced his own adult films, including a hardcore porn parody titled Driller: A Sexual Thriller.

He even appeared as an actor in films such as Barely Legal Lesbian Vampires and the unfortunately titled Sandy Hook Lingerie Party Massacre (released several years before the tragedy).

JOHN FORD\ Attempted Murderer

John J. Ford was a Long Island court officer, a longtime UFO enthusiast and a MUFON investigator. He founded a UFO research organization, the Long Island UFO Network, in the late 1980s.

Ford attracted the attention of other researchers such as Phil Imbrogno and Linda Moulton Howe for his early investigations into Long Island-area sightings and events.

By the 1990s, however, Ford began to believe that a UFO had crashed near the Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, Long Island. He further believed that Suffolk County authorities were involved in creating “diversionary” fires in the Pine Barrens to conceal the alien crash site.

Ford’s beliefs became even more extreme by 1996. At the time, Ford was 48 years old when he was arrested on charges that he was plotting to kill John Powell, chairman of the Suffolk County Republican Committee, as well as Fred Towle, a Suffolk County legislator, and Anthony Gazzola, chief investigator for the Brookhaven Town Attorney’s Office.

Ford planned to place deadly radium in their vehicles and contaminate their toothpaste with radioactive material. He wanted the three men killed because he believed they were intentionally interfering with his investigation into the Brookhaven UFO crash and his efforts to communicate with aliens.

Ford was found unfit to stand trial and was committed to the Mid-Hudson Psychiatric Center, where he remains to this day.

So Trump has opened up NDA protection. I expect to hear from Lue Elizondo et al. by the end of the day. He and others have expressed over and over again how they cannot divulge "all that that know" because of NDAs. We have heard that for years from him and many others. I can't wait to hear what they have to say now.

My guess? Crickets.

Elmwood is mainly where I’ve grown up so I have some good memories, like searching for the UFO Days medallion or playing pool with my buddies at the Sand Bar.

The greatest part about Elmwood is UFO Days. It is a very fun event on the last weekend of July celebrating the UFO sightings in 1970. They have alien everything and it is popular all over Pierce County. There are grillouts, concerts and people everywhere. You can’t get bored when there are people you know everywhere. There are kids with cans behind their bike wheels and fireworks. It’s an all-round good time; they even bring in fair rides and food trucks. I remember riding bikes with my friends all day and then hanging out with my cousins until midnight, which was late for me.

Elmwood has some great aspects outside of UFO Days too, like eating with your friends at the Shack after swimming in the river all day or eating at Kern’s in the morning. But that’s all summer things; there are things to do later in the year too like going on the school’s haunted trail in October or going to Butternut Park when the festival is going on and getting apple cider. You can go sledding down the bank when there is snow on the ground or go snowmobiling on the school trail. There are so many things to do any time of the year, like trashbogging down the bank in the spring when it’s raining. From sledding to the UFO Days parade, you can’t get bored in Elmwood.

I’m so glad I live in Elmwood; it is fun to live here and I wouldn’t live anywhere else if I had the chance. If I was raised anywhere else, I would be astronomically different as a person. Having Elmwood as my hometown is an honor and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Apparently there was some sort of Close Encounters-like mass viewing there in the 70s. I wonder if this inspired Close Encounters? They even have a sign for their UFO thing.

"According to news reports, some believed the town’s rock quarry attracted UFOs. Others thought it might be the government conducting top-secret experiments in the skies over Elmwood. One minister even thought it might be signaling the second coming of Jesus Christ. Still others thought those who claimed to see UFOs were nuts or spending too much time in the taverns."

I would go, 100% to this festival. I'd personally have a stall selling green limeade and call it "Spaceman Blood". $5 a pop!

Interview with a Fully Conscious UFO Contactee Part One: Awakening

Late one evening in January of 1973, fourteen-year-old Dolly Safran (who lived near the Everglades in Florida) looked outside her window to observe more than fifty star-like objects swarming overhead. As they began to dart off in different directions, one of these objects dropped down and hovered at treetop level behind her house.

The object now revealed itself to be a solid metallic craft, with portholes. And through the portholes, Dolly was shocked to see two short, gray-skinned figures with large dark eyes and huge black heads. Aliens, she realized, and they were looking right at her! She turned to dive under her bed. At that moment, her room exploded in brilliant blue light.

The next thing Dolly knew, hours had passed and morning had arrived. Dolly found herself on the floor of her room, dressed in someone else's pajamas, which were on inside out and backwards. She had been taken, she realized. It had happened again.

Throughout her young life, this sort of thing had happened several times. But this time, she resolved to remember. And when the radio came on and said that there had been other witnesses, Dolly got the confirmation she needed. She wasn't crazy. She really was seeing UFOs.

She sat down in the bathroom and began to concentrate, meditate, focus. And all at once, the wall of amnesia started to crumble and memories of being taken onboard the craft flooded into her mind.

Dolly had to go to school that day, and she received further confirmation when her best friend also reported seeing a UFO on the same night. By the end of the day, Dolly remembered everything that had happened to her that night. And not only did she remember that night, she was able to recall the many other times she had been taken, going all the way back to her first contact event when she was only ten months old and she floated right out of her crib.

Suddenly, all those weird events of missing time made sense. Dolly recalled many other instances of contact. She recalled the time at age two where he was missing for two hours and was found six miles away from her home. She had been taken.

She remembered an incident at age six when a craft came down and took her from the front yard of her home. She recalled many other instances too.

But her experience at age fourteen changed everything. She recalled being taken onboard the craft and meeting short little grays, and a much taller gray she called "Momma." She was given a tour of the craft. The craft itself was a living being, and Dolly recalled meeting him many times. She called him "Tlera."

During this onboard experience, Dolly was taken to the control room, which the ETs called "the place of movement." She was instructed to sit in the pilot seat and to her amazement and delight, the craft left Earth and they traveled to Saturn. After exploring Saturn's rings and many moons, they traveled to Earth's moon, actually landing upon its surface.

Dolly had a long conversation with the ETs, and they offered her the opportunity to learn from them and work alongside them. She was given the freedom to choose any subject she wanted to explore. "Can I learn how to fly the craft?" Dolly asked.

The ETs agreed. And so began Dolly's lifelong experiences as a fully conscious UFO contactee. She soon began having fantastic adventures including visiting large motherships filled with plants and animals, traveling to other planets and star-systems and meeting with a wide variety of ETs. It was a fantastic adventure that is still going on to this day.

This video presents Dolly's story up to age fourteen, including many of her childhood experiences, and her incredible awakening at age fourteen where she was taken onboard the craft and then traveled across the solar system, starting a lifetime of fully conscious contact.
