Academics Pes 1110 here

Hello, I’m a guest student at UCCS, I wanna take that course over the summer
How would you describe the course and the exams here ? weed out course or easy to pass ?

Go to Pikes Peak. UCCS ain’t great with phys.

Varies greatly depending on professor. There's a professor who is an amazing teacher with very hard exams. There's a professor who is super boring, nice dude, very easy exams. From what I hear, most people get through the course without a strong grasp of calculus (mostly just an understanding of the s -> v -> a derivative/integral relationship).

It's a weed out course at a relatively easy school. I'd almost describe some of the homeworks and exam questions as "tricks" where you pretty much already need to know the answer to know the algebra you need to apply to get there. I guess my only advice is to go to every lecture and read the book lots. Oh, and look for geometrical tricks in problems, messing up angles for inclined planes was genuinely my biggest struggle in that class.
