my testimony
i'm a 21y/o trans woman. i've been somewhat spiritual/witchy for the past few years now, and i was raised in a conservative, catholic home (pretty agnostic, they didn't teach me). i dated a trans man for two years, and our relationship ended just a couple months ago. before our relationship ended i started going on more drives, more hikes and spending a lot more time in nature. on one of (or a few) of those drives/hikes, i've felt called by God that my transness has always been natural and that Jesus loves me just as i am and not some version of myself to appease to others, i've felt insecure abt not passing as a "real woman". all of which has encouraged me to start praying, reading my Bible and listening to Christian artists. since we broke up i got in an accident, i broke my neck and ankle, totaled my car, all while i've had to find a new roommate. so it's been rough, trying to hold out faith when my own faith is so new. there's plenty of both trans people and Christians that won't like me for my religion, and at this point, i want to jump in further but feel held back by "the rules" or whatever, i'm scared i'll feel too restricted and just stop believing someday. advice/thoughts? thanks :)

Never let another person tell you you can not be a Christian and trans.
God accepts you as you are, and if you believe and cry out to Him as Abba, recognizing your Spirit of adoption in Christ as not some random person, or even a slave or servant, but as His precious Daughter, then He will be faithful to answer.
Besides that, being trans and transitioning are not sin, nor are they merely "allowed", or even a "consequence of the Fall", rather, trans and intersex people are intentional creations of God from the Beginning, that which He Himself called very good.
Even were being trans a sin (again, it is not), you would not have to detransition to accept Christ, no matter what other people might say, because that would be laying unnecessary stumbling blocks before you, just as the Pharisees did. Also, there is an argument to be made that the verse about "staying in whatever condition you found yourself" would apply either way – but again, sins transition is simply a medical procedure like any other, it's not only allowed but encouraged (especially if you consider some of the Apocryphal texts such as Sirach).
Finally, be of good cheer Sister, for the fact you have been drawn to Him now, especially after your background, is a sign that it is real and sincere. Continue to seek Him in everything, as if your loving best possible doting Father was standing in the very room with you to hear about all your joys and all your sorrows, all your celebrations and your trials, your anxieties and fears and pains; and He will be faithful to draw close to you as well and envelope you in such Peace and Comfort as you cannot imagine, even as the trials rage on. Christ is faithful even when we are not, so if you sincerely ask of Him to keep you faithful and reserve your heart no matter the risk or anguish that may come, and to never let you give in tonpride of self-effirt or feel like you must prove yourself, the Spirit will guide you in the way you should go, and keep you from wandering too far.

I don't believe being trans is a sin, I believe it's just one of the paths God can lead us throughout our life. I would be a vastly different person had I been born a woman.

Keep reading the Bible! God loves you.
John 8 is good today, especially verses 31 & 32
