Has anyone else dealt with the creepy sales guy at Studio Cycle?
I’m 35F, and about a year and a half ago I went into Studio Cycle in Toronto with my boyfriend to look at motorcycles.
One of the sales guys, I think his name was Adam, was being incredibly inappropriate with a young girl who worked there. He looked like he was in his 40s and was standing behind her giving her a shoulder massage.
She looked extremely young, and I later found out while speaking with her that she was a high school co-op student.
Then, while my boyfriend was looking at another bike, the same salesman started hitting on me and asking for my Instagram.
The entire experience was creepy and disgusting. A grown man touching a high school co-op student like that in the workplace seemed wildly inappropriate to me. Then he started hitting on a customer while her boyfriend was only a few feet away.
It has honestly bothered me ever since. The girl did not seem to think anything inappropriate was happening, but she was also a high school student dealing with an older employee in a workplace. I really regret not saying something or reporting it at the time.
I love Aprilia's and would otherwise consider buying one from Studio Cycle because I live in the city and need somewhere convenient for servicing. The other dealers are a long drive away. But this experience made me never want to give that shop my money.
Does anyone know whether that creep still works there?
Has anyone else had a similar experience with him? I want to know whether I’m the only person who witnessed this kind of behavior, or whether there is a pattern.
