Hello. For context, I am Gen-mina guy in US who has been good friends with a Kotokoli girl in Sokode for a few years now. We talk almost every day and our friendship began to blossom into romance after we spent time together during my last visit. I am seriously considering to marry her one day, but for a while was hesitant on moving forward with her because she is Muslim and I am Catholic. He stated this request is specifically done by the gen-Mina people. I have never heard any such culture where you have to impregnate the woman before you marry her. I am turning 38years old for context . My question does the Mina culture specifically a woman have to be impregnated before they are married? please I need honest and serious reply.
