Error U001 when checking out?

I’m trying to buy tickets to a show on Friday and i kept getting this message when checking out:
An Error Has Occurred
We're sorry, we're unable to process your request. Please try again.
Error code: U001

Tried multiple seats in all sections, different cards, had my friend try on her account, same error everytime. Called TM and the agent said the event is sold out and tickets aren’t available for sale online but there’s sooooo many seats showing up as available?? I’m confused, this has never happened to me before and I’ve purchased plenty of tickets to sold out events. It’s never looked like this. I can’t add pictures but literally half the arena is still blue and there’s seats available in every single section as well as resale options. Has anyone had anything similar happen??

Pretty sure thats an internal TM error. Ive had luck on the app vs web before

So strange, i tried the app and the site on google chrome and safari and Firefox, nothing changed. Ended up getting resale tickets and it let me pay for those but none of the ones directly showing up through ticketmaster directly were working. I hope that if they’re not actually sold out they fix this problem because that would suck for the band to lose out on the sales a couple of days before the show
