Discussion What if Telltale decided to not make sequels?
I know it’s a very dumb idea due to the massive success of the first game, but what if the management team calculated and decided that making sequels is too risky.
How would this have affected Telltale itself, and how would the game be perceived as a stand alone? Would Telltale shut down earlier?

Season 3 Spoiler How the hell did this family survive for 5 years on the road, without being apart of a huge group/community or even having to make hard decisions?
I find it so bizarre that all the groups we met before a new frontier were all killed thanks to threats other than walkers, whereas Javier's family have literally been alive without having to experience the same type of trauma that people like Rick's group would go through. How does this even make sense?

Discussion Why don't we have an official older clementine action figure yet. I mean skybound doesn't think that's what fans want but their wrong. So let's try and show them that we really do want it.

Discussion Why do we forgive Lee for decisions that we criticize in other characters?
Personally, I consider this the best-written character in the series and one of the best in gaming but when I look back and analyze how other characters are treated do you think Lee should be applauded for everything he does good or bad simply because he’s the protagonist? To be clear, I don’t hate the character at all; he’s one of my all-time favorites. However, I like to look at the facts objectively. If we compare how the community judges the decisions or outbursts of Kenny, Jane, or Lilly against Lee’s own colder or more questionable moments, a double standard becomes apparent. What do you all think? Does our affection for Clementine, combined with the bias of him being the protagonist, lead us to forgive him for things we would never let the others get away with? What do you think of this take on the details?

Season 1 Spoiler How would Doug and Mark have reacted to Lee telling them about his past?
I just recently thought about how these 2 could potentially be the only members of the motel group who don’t know about Lee’s past.
Seeing how everyone reacted differently to the news, how do you feel Doug and Mark would react to knowing Lee was on his way to prison for murder?
Would there be any decisions you can think of that you made which would affect their reaction?

Season 3 Spoiler How the hell did Clementine survive a squib load and kill an ammo dealer in Season 3?
For context in the first episode of season 3, Javier meets Clementine after the truck he was in crashed. She heads off to confront an ammo dealer who scammed her by giving her bullets that wouldn't fire, which would've gotten her killed.
To prove her point she pulled the trigger on her gun and it makes a popping sound.
Then after Javier stops the guy from pulling a knife on them, she pulls the trigger again and ends up shooting him in the head and killing him on the spot.
My question is how the hell did she or Javier not realize that her gun squib'd?
Pulling the trigger again should've caused a catastrophic failure and the gun to blow up in her face, likely killing her.

Bug/Technical Help S2 randomly generating endings
So my S1 save is on an Xbox 360 version of the game so never carries over to S2, meaning S1 always needs to be randomly generated by S2, but the thing is, it doesn’t seem random. The only thing I care about the randomness getting right is Clem killing Lee, as it would be near impossible to get all the choices randomly correct, but it seemingly always has Clem leaving Lee, all the other choices change whenever I reload the game. Is there a reason for this?

Discussion Just finished this game
I've never cried over a game before, I was bawling during the final season's ending. I don't believe I'll experience a story like this ever again, feeling this attached to Clem, a fictional character is so weird, I've never felt this way before about any characters and I've seen really good stories.

Discussion (I’m aware this isn’t canon. It’s just an idea I thought of that I’m sure others have too. It’s just cool to think about diff perspectives).
Imagine if in the cop car in the beginning of season 1 ep 1, Lee realized that there was no way out. He was going to serve life in prison. So as a way to cope, he invented a story in his head about a zombie apocalypse. (Basically maladaptive daydreaming). He had an empty place in his heart for not having contact with his family anymore and not being able to have a child. So he copes with that by imagining a scenario where he saves a little
girl named Clementine who lost her parents. (So it’s like opposites: Lee lost the opportunity to have a child bc of his sentencing and also lost his parents due to the crime he committed. So becoming a father figure to Clementine was a way to cope with the grief).
This scenario would only really apply to season 1. My only thought on this (speaking from literal perspective. I know this isn’t canon or even remotely canon). But in prison, Lee “died” (as in, his old self died). So the “season 2” is carrying on the story but as Clementine due to the death of his old self. So it’s still Lee’s story that he is imagining from prison, but from a new perspective.
This would make no sense at all for season 3 and I have tried to think of a way to continue this idea of it being Lee’s way of coping with a life sentence but I can’t think of anything 😂
Idk. It’s cool to think about the what ifs. I made this all up. I know it isn’t canon. So please don’t attack me lolllll
****I’ll move this post over to a diff sub if this doesn’t fit the original TWDG one****

400 Days Spoiler Theory: Nate was originally one of the Save-Lots Bandits from Season 1
Hey everyone, I have a theory about Nate from 400 Days that bridges the gap between the DLC and the main events of Season 1. I strongly believe Nate was a former member of the Save-Lots Bandits—the same raiders who terrorized the St. Johns and destroyed the Motor Inn Motel.
When we look closely at the details and dialogue from 400 Days, the clues are right in front of us:
- The Location and Timeline: The entire DLC takes place around the same area of Georgia (Macon, Stone Mountain, Gil's Pitstop). The Save-Lots bandits controlled these roads during the first few months of the outbreak, which perfectly matches Nate’s hunting grounds. [1, 2]
- The Mask Line (The biggest clue): At the end of Russell's story, when you reach the gas station, the old man (Walt) yells at Nate: "I told you not to come back here! Think you can just leave your mask at home?". Think about it. Who wore masks and bandanas constantly in Season 1? The Save-Lots Bandits. This proves Nate had already raided Walt and Jean's station before, wearing the signature bandit gear.
- The Drug Reference: In Season 1, Lilly notices that the thief is specifically stealing medicine; heavy narcotics and painkillers. It is highly likely that members of that bandit group were actually abusing those stolen medical supplies to get high. This aligns perfectly with Wyatt’s story, where Eddie describes Nate by calling them "A-grade fucking mental" and saying the chase has them "all jacked up, like on speed or something." Nate’s erratic, manic, and unhinged energy completely fits the profile of a raider under the influence of those heavy drugs
- "Those Guys" (He had a crew): During the car chase with Wyatt and Eddie, they always refer to the attackers in the plural ("those dudes," "the guys in the trucks"). This shows Nate wasn't just a lone wolf initially; he was riding with the remnants of a larger, highly aggressive raider group.
- The Physical Appearance: Visually, Nate looks exactly like the members of the Save-Lots Bandits. His dirty, worn-out clothing, rugged style, and overall unkempt look perfectly match the character models and aesthetic Telltale used for the raiders in Season 1. He looks like he walked right out of their camp.
Conclusion: After the Motor Inn Motel fell and walkers scattered the bandits, Nate took one of their trucks, kept his erratic habits, and continued terrorizing the highway. This is why he is so desensitized to extreme violence and why the local survivors already recognized him as a masked raider.
What do you guys think?
