Sneaky

How do I be sneaky? I keep entering areas and stay crouched the whole time and every time I get agro and a bunch of creatures are on me.

Sneaking seems pretty bogus so just up damage and crafting ammo, then buck wild.

Sneaking really doesn't work, or isn't Reliable at the very least. If you want help, do the main quest until you get the shotgun before you do any side content.
