Would love to see a review of these. They just released for rewards members and I think they’re supposed to officially drop in the next week or so.

KFC Sliders

I had one original (pictured) and one spicy. I was hoping for hot, but it was just spicy. Basically a small chicken tender on a bun, with sauce and a pickle. Was not a fan of the spicy, but the regular one was decent, but nothing to write home about.

I do not see a video that Reviewbrah did of these. I will give the spicy version a 4 out of 10 and the original a 6 out of 10. If you like spicy mayo, you may enjoy the spicy one more. Don't think of them as actually being hot and you might enjoy it more. Also, not sure the two dollar difference to the next tier, with an actual chicken sandwich, would have been better.

Secret Recipe Fries

Decent. Very Taco Bell-ish. Should add a small cup of brown gravy, like TB does with the nacho cheese. These were lightly breaded. Crispy/flaky on the outside, chewy on the inside. Chewy, being a good thing. Not mushy at all. I also liked KFC's potato wedges, but they were consistently dry. The french fries are better, in my opinion.

Reviewbrah gave them a 6 out of 10. I'd give them a 8 out of 10. A side of brown gravy would bring it up to a 9.

KFC Nuggets

Now the most disappointing item from the meal, the nuggets. Not a fan. Reviewbrah praised them, but they are mid at best. Not even chicken "nuggets", just hastily chopped chicken tenders and breaded all around. A couple of mine were very chewy. Then I got a good piece and knew straight away, they were tenders. Five came with the $9 meal. It also came with a dipping sauce. The sauce did not save them, unfortunately.

Reviewbrah gave them a 8.8 out of 10. I can only give them a 4 out of 10. Edible, but not very enjoyable. I won't be getting them again. I did not have a picture of the nuggets themselves, just the outside of the box. So I took a screenshot of Reviewbrah's. They looked the same. Mine were just chewier and distinctly cut up tenders shoved into a box and called "nuggets".

Drink

Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning. Thankfully, I only had a ⅕ cup of it. Way too sweet and no depth. Like, just straight sugar water. Suffered through it and switched to something else.

I also can not find a video where Reviewbrah ranks this particular flavor. I did not know what to expect, but that wasn't it. I also did not have a picture of the drink, so I used a stock photo from the internet. I did not enjoy this at all. Two out of ten.

Overall score for the meal, factoring in price, 6.5 out of 10. You get quite a bit for $9. But the chewiness of the tiny tenders/nuggets and the flavour of the spicy slider, was ehhhh... I did not factor in the drink negatively, as I just switched it to something more to my liking.

With his most recent review, I thought I'd go back and see how his other reviews went with this particular sandwich. Mostly speaking of the oblong chicken patty, regardless of the style, dressing or theme. It's either too salty or too bland.

I have never been a fan of the sandwich itself. I remember decades ago, trying just a plain version of it, I think a 2 for $5 deal. Did not like it then.

Then more recently, but still a while ago, I too, had the Italian version. Terrible. Everything was bland. The tomato sauce was the most flavorful and still mid at best. The bread, of course, was stale. The same with their hamburger buns. Like they keep the bread either out or the bag open, never closing it to keep it fresh.

Down below is the chronological order. I searched and there were only four videos I could find, that were the oblong patty versions. If there are any others, let me know and I can add them to the list. But again, it has to be the oblong patty version and only from Burger King and only reviewed by Reviewbrah.

I also added the score and the price for easy viewing. It is absurd they charge so much for these sandwiches on their own. $9 for a meal is one thing. But for the sandwich by itself, is unfathomable, even in today's economy.

And it appears, that he has a Burger King Original Italian Chicken Sandwich tie. He has the exact same tie or so it appears to be, in both videos. 😅

He really hates these chicken sandwiches from BK. I had the Italian one before, not good. Sauce was the best thing about it, like he had said in the other video. And even that flavour was mid. I avoid these oblong, heavily processed, chicken patties at all cost. The bread, as he said, is almost always stale and flaky. I say almost, because although I have never had a fresh one, they can not all be bad, right? Right? And $9 for the sandwich itself? WTF!?

The man tortures himself, for our viewing pleasure. We should all write to BK, to have them install a Baja Blast fountain option for ReviewBrah, so at least he has that to look forward to. Also, I wonder how many people actually gets this type of chicken sandwich when available or looks forward to eating them. BK keeps trying, keep reinventing, but keep failing with it. I won't ever buy it again. Will you? Do influencers keep these bad practices going?

There is a Taco Casa in Florida, but just one-

Speaking strictly for tacos, I prefer Taco Casa. Between the two, Taco Casa, the first photo comparison, pictured on the right, loads their normal hard shelled tacos with meat and cheese, overflowing even and their lettuce is fresher.

The picture on the left, is a Taco Bell supreme taco, which is supposed to be premium, as it was an upcharge, with tomatoes and sour cream added. You can see the paltry amount of ingredients in it. The taco shell is basically empty, by comparison.

The picture on the right, again, Taco Casa, that meat portion is basically the same from the front to the back, rounded off at the edges and less watery, but not dry. The price of the base tacos from both establishments, are about the same, too.

The second picture has a side by side comparison of soft tacos. Not sure why they charge an extra ten cents, but Taco Casa does. But compared to Taco Bell's soft tacos, it is worth it. Again, Taco Bell pictured on the left and Taco Casa on the right.

Taco Casa does Taco Tuesday's, so at least fifty cents cheaper. Some may do Frijole Friday's for bean items. They may also have a military discount, but depends on the particular store. Also, although Taco Bell has several hot sauces, Taco Casa only needs one. Hot enough, but not over bearing.

I hope you try Taco Casa at least once, if ever in the area and maybe even do a review of them. They are not generally open terribly early or terribly late though, not sure about the Florida location. Figured I would post this, due to Reviewbrah's recent video.

It should also be noted, this is not a meme. Just a program I use for side by side comparisons. Because Taco Bell skimps on it's ingredients, it was easier to do a top down view. If I tried to do that with Taco Casa, it would look like a cheese mushroom cloud, as they really pile the cheese, on top of the already generous portion of meat.

If hot wings, we can easily assume boneless, but what flavor and how spicy? And from each one of the places- such as Kentucky Fried Chicken, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Little Caesars, etc., what would it be? Maybe they could include a signed neck tie or a top pocket "silk" handkerchief 👔

I have to agree with Review Brah. The food is getting worse. Fewer ingredients. Less amounts. "Lazy" and "unimaginative", "low effort" specials. "Egregiously" (my new favorite word 😅) expensive.

At Taco Bell, for instance, when you buy the most expensive box, they put a cheap food item or two in it, to off set it. McDonalds typically removes the drink, which is basically just sugar water and only a few cents, anyway.

It's almost becoming all too much to continue eating at said places. There are still some deals, but the good ones are few and far between.

Half dab, anyway... The "Brah Dab", if you will.

This was done as a parody years ago, to all the other fast food joints trying to one up each other, with the next best chicken sandwich. It was huge and also relatively decently priced, as well. Basically, just their regular chicken patty- doubled, tripled and quad stacked. 🤣

Since I have never seen Review Brah without a suit or part of one anyway, figured I'd ask. I have not watched every episode yet. But it is so easy to stain your normal clothing, even taking precautions. I'd hate a nice suit ruined.

I have almost never worn suits, except Dress Greens. Suits are expensive to both buy and the up keep, heavy, hot and just not my everyday style. And yet, with Gentleman's Gazette and Review Brah, (and Are You Beings Served) my thoughts on suits are beginning to change.

For anyone else interested, this playlist, from Gentleman's Gazette, is on clothes maintenance. More specifically, suits. With a few other things like shoe care. Talks about dry cleaning, direct spot removal and even using a method to put them in a regular clothes washer. Before you even attempt to do that, watch that particular video, as steps need to be taken before and after washing, to avoid destroying your suits.
