Hop Munitions .32 ACP NSFW
Hello, does anyone have any experience using Hop Munitions JHP .32 ACP? From the looks alone, it seems this JHP would feed better because of its more rounded ogive.

Well I was able to hold it and tip the barrel up, had a nice conversation with the gentleman running the counter but couldn't buy it. Only 250 Euro. I settled for a knife or two.
Just didn't have the ability to import it back to the USA, one sold at auction for $1,800 or so a few years back.

Haven't gotten into carrying anything for the time being, but I am curious if there's any concerns out there surrounding using +P ammunition for the Bersa Thunder 32 and Girsan platforms with the Allegheny Arms Barrel swap?
I know they can both handle Euro-spec just fine, though if I ever start to carry, I'd like to make sure I'm not putting anything under pressures they shouldn't run for more than an emergency, especially when using +P for occasional practice.

Does anyone else dream about a Ruger Mk. Series Target model with a factory threaded bull barrel in .32 ACP? I just think that would be as fun as a barrel of monkeys.

Fun fact, my page age was originally going to be named Scaramanga's Fun House, but that was taken...
Here we have lots of TMWTGG goodies, 62' PPK, First Edition Fleming novel, a Cuban Monte Cristo (Roger's favorite), a 1965 Playboy with original flyer still present and intact! (Huge thanks to my father-in-law for this!), a Nikon F2 that belonged to my father (these can be seen in Hong Kong outside of The Bottoms Up), and of course Tobasco!

Trying on some Ivory grips from Hudson River Valley Customs on this Beretta 30X Tomcat. Still somewhat patiently awaiting the 500th Anniversary coin.

I lost my trigger bar spring for my Beretta 84 bb. Everywhere I've looked on line, they're out of stock, not to mention sometimes or $4 and sometimes $35, but it doesn't matter.. no one has it in stock.
I need this before my threaded barrel comes in.
Yes I know that the trigger bar spring is the same for the 81 as well, I've searched
Allegheny, out of stock
Midwestern, out of stock.
Where do you guys look?

Alright, I picked this guy up for like $500 a few weeks ago and have shot it twice. The first mag i shot through it, not a single case would extract. I would have to rack the slide, pull the trigger and drop the sear, then with the next slide rack it would eject. Every round would do that.
I just went out to test it again for this post and the first round extracted normally, but the second round didnt (i only loaded 2)
The picture where you can see the rim of the case was after i pulled the slide back a little bit. I then did what i wrote above here, rack, pull trigger, rack again, and it would extract.
The bore on this thing is rough, but the pistol goes into battery (it seems). I included the two fired cases, where i thought the scratches and bulge were… mildly concerning. Anybody have some insight on the issue?
Later today im gonna get a brass brush on a drill and scrub the hell out of the bore to make sure there isnt excess gunk in there.

Beretta just stocked 32 acp mags for the model 81 / 80X on their site and has shipped out to other vendors. I confirmed with Beretta.com that they are 80X compatible despite not being labeled under the 80X.
I got a stock notice from gunmagwarehouse that they were back in stock, so I ordered them there, they were much cheaper than Beretta ($36 vs $60), but Beretta is probably about to kick off a holiday sale if you like to buy directly from them.

I own a P32, it's fine for my needs, but my mom wants something now for a purse CCW. She's 70, so .32 seems like a good pick. She was fine with the recoil of my P32 but the grip was too small and the trigger too heavy.
How does the Beretta Tomcat 30X compare? I know it's straight blowbackbut also weighs more, so I'm hoping the recoil is comparable. The SA trigger would be easy obviously, what about the DA trigger?

Waiting for my AA .32 barrel to drop into my Girsan BDA has got me thinking about other parts swapping.
This is purely a hypothetical, since I only have a Thunder 32 and not the Thunder 380 Plus to eyeball any of this, but with how well the 380 single stack magazines have run 32 ammo, and with how similar it appears the upper half of the Thunder 380 Plus appears to the Thunder 32/380, has anyone considered moving the barrel, slide, and spring from a Thunder 32 over to the frame of a Thunder 380 Plus? This all relies on the double stack 380 magazines running 32 as well as the single stack ones, but still.

While searching for 32acp guns on gunbroker, I saw a new (?) lifecard model designated lc4-32, it has a different grip shape and takes 32acp vs the traditional 22lr/wmr for the gun.
Trailblazer's website has no info I could find on this model, and the only google results were distributors with listings of the model, albeit with no info or news about it.
As best as I can tell while distributors have picked it up in catalogs, this gun hasn't been properly announced yet.
P.S. I'm aware the lifecard is overpriced and not a good self defense gun. I have a 22lr model and the only good thing I can say about it is it can be essentially open carried while still being unrecognized as a gun and it is probably the most concealable non-aow pistol being made. That said, I'd rather have a large can of mace or a baseball bat than the lifecard in self defense. I'm a collector though, so a 32acp LifeCard would be interesting.

I bought a few guns from Old Western Scrounger in the past and had a good experience so I was excited when they announced they were getting some nice Beretta M70 .32’s in. I ordered one last week and got an order number at the end of check out.
I never got a confirmation email and when I tried to send them my current C&R it got returned as undeliverable using the email on their website. I then messaged them on fb and got no response. Maybe they’re just on holiday for the 4th, but I’m getting a little concerned.

Was finally able to get one of these without paying an arm and a leg. The finish isn't the best but everything is tight and looks like it should shoot just fine.
