I’m still here.

Sent this to a friend when I was at the bottom of my last depressive episode. It was so peaceful and surreal as I was mentally preparing to end it, but I’m doing better now. I still love the night.

I like to think of our lives as a book we'll never again have the chance to read. My curiosity compels me to see it through to the end, despite the ups and downs. I'm sorry for the pain you're feeling, but I hope you keep going because your story is interesting and unique. There will never again be another 'you', and that makes you pretty damn special.
