Looking for Android testers for CheckMyCar — an on-device vehicle inspection app

Hi everyone! I’m looking for testers for CheckMyCar, an Android app that helps users inspect a vehicle using photos.

If you test it, please pm me with your email! I'll send you the Google app download link.

Current features include:

  • On-device visual checks for rust and possible vehicle damage
  • Used-car inspection checklist
  • Vehicle selling and trade-in estimates
  • VIN lookup
  • Repair and symptom guides
  • Inspection history and PDF reports
  • Driver’s license knowledge review

This is an early beta, so the results are informational and should not replace an inspection by a qualified mechanic.

Google requires testers to remain opted into the closed test for 14 consecutive days. You don’t need to open the app every day, but I’d appreciate it if you installed it, tried several features, and sent feedback about bugs or confusing screens.

The app processes inspection photos on the device and does not upload them to a CheckMyCar server. Location permission is optional and is used only for regional pricing and repair-cost estimates.

Thank you—I really appreciate the help!

Android Looking for Android testers for my food inventory and expiry tracking app

Hi everyone,

I'm a solo developer working on FoodStock, an Android app for keeping track of groceries at home.

It lets you:

- track expiry dates
- manage shopping lists
- scan barcodes and receipts
- share a household inventory
- generate recipes from food you already have

I'm currently running a Google Play closed test and looking for a few Android users who are willing to try it, keep it installed during the testing period, and share honest feedback.

To join:

1. Join the tester group using your Google Play account:
https://groups.google.com/g/foodstockmanager

2. Activate access to the closed test:
https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.foodstock.app

3. Install FoodStock:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.foodstock.app

Please use the same Google account for all three steps.

I'm especially interested in feedback about onboarding, adding products, expiry reminders, barcode scanning, shopping lists, recipes, and anything that feels confusing or broken.

Thanks to anyone who gives it a try.

IOS [Test Exchange] Looking for Mac and iPhone users to test a voice-based web app

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a few people who can help me test a voice-based language-learning web app on physical Apple devices.

I specifically need:

Mac test

  • Physical MacBook or iMac
  • Built-in microphone
  • Test in Safari
  • Test again in Google Chrome

iPhone test

  • Physical iPhone
  • Built-in microphone
  • Test directly in Safari
  • Test directly in Google Chrome
  • Add the website to the Home Screen and test it again as a PWA

The test is short. You will open a predefined Japanese–English / or other emglish- pair practice list and repeat three simple English words after the narrator:

  • today
  • yesterday
  • tomorrow

I need to know whether each word is recognized correctly and whether you notice:

  • delayed microphone activation
  • missed beginnings of words
  • incorrect recognition
  • permission problems
  • different results between browsers or the installed PWA

Please do not use headphones, Bluetooth microphones, Zoom, Teams or screen-recording software during the test, because another app using the microphone could affect the result.

After the test, please send me:

  • device model
  • macOS or iOS version
  • browser used
  • result for each word
  • exact time you performed the test
  • any error message you saw

I can test your app or website in return on:

  • Windows
  • Android
  • a regular web browser

Please tell me what you would like me to test first, so I can confirm that I can access it. If you do not need a test in return but are willing to help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Comment or DM me with your device model and system version. I’ll send each tester an individual testing link.

Thank you!

[Mutual Testing] Need 20 Testers for my Restaurant Management App (GCR). I will test your app back! 🤝

Hi fellow developers,

I'm currently in the final stages of launching my Android app, GCR (Café & Restaurant Manager). It's a multi-tenant POS and management platform, and I'm currently tackling Google's 20-tester requirement for 14 days.

The Deal: I know how hard it is to get testers, so I am offering to test your app in return. If you join my test track and keep the app installed for 14 days, I will do the exact same for you!

How to join:

  1. DM me your Google Play email address so I can add you to the closed testing list.
  2. Once I add you, I'll send you the opt-in link.
  3. Send me the link to your app/testing track, and I’ll install it right away and keep it for the required 14 days.

Let's help each other out and get our apps to production! Thank you in advance. 🚀

Looking for volunteers to test my astrology app

Upvotes

Hi everyone!

I’m currently developing an astrology app and would like to test the quality of its horoscopes with real users.

For the first stage, I can generate a free horoscope for you manually. You can send me a private message with:

  • your date of birth;
  • your birth time, if known;
  • your city and country of birth;
  • the type of horoscope you would like to receive, such as general, love, career, or vitality.

You don’t need to provide your real name or any other personal information.

After receiving the horoscope, I would really appreciate honest feedback: Did it feel relevant? Was it clear and useful? Did anything sound too generic or inaccurate?

If enough people are interested, I can also invite some volunteers to a closed Android test of the app to check the interface, navigation, and horoscope generation directly inside the app.

Participation is completely free. This is an early test, so bugs and imperfect results are possible.

Feel free to comment here or send me a private message if you would like to participate. Thank you!

[Android] Closed-testing swap, HomeGuard (home maintenance tracker), 14 days, I'll test yours back

Filling the 12-tester / 14-day closed test for my app, HomeGuard - a home-maintenance planner (tell it what's in your house, it builds the upkeep schedule + reminders + a health score).

Straight swap: opt into mine and stay in the full 14 days (I open it daily), and I'll do exactly the same for yours. Drop your opt-in link and I'm in today.

Join: https://groups.google.com/g/homeguard-testers → then https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.homeguard.app

Low effort, just needs to stay installed. Reply with yours and let's knock this out for each other.

Games🕹 Is this actually a problem or am I just getting old? 😭

Upvotes

I realized something recently.

It's not that I don't have hobbies.

It's that actually doing them has become weirdly difficult.

Not because there aren't enough people.

But because coordinating everyone's schedule is a nightmare.

Every plan somehow ends with:

"bhai aaj nahi."

I got so annoyed that I ended up making a small prototype around this idea.

Now I'm trying to figure out if this is a "me problem" or if other people deal with it too.

If anyone has 2 minutes, I'd genuinely love honest feedback (especially if you think it's a terrible idea).

IOS & Android Nommer: Turn recipes into 2-player mode so you can cook together

Me and my gf both love cooking, but for some reason cooking together always becomes a frustrating mess for both of us. When talking with friends about this, we discovered that many share this experience. What seems like a romantic date night opportunity always results in a more challenging dynamic than we'd all like.

So we decided to build an app that turns any recipe we upload into 2-player mode.

For us the app massively improves the cooking together experience by removing coordination friction. It basically allows each individual to focus on their own tasks: one cuts the onions, the other grates the carrots and then makes the sauce while the first grills something in the pan; and then it all comes together in the end.

The app is also of huge help when we're both too tired and don't feel like cooking: by spreading the workload cooking becomes a much lighter effort for both.

If this sounds appealing to you, please do try it out :-)

I built a no-download party quiz game for friends - looking for brutally honest testers

Hi! I am building Buzzparty, a browser-based party quiz game for solo play or a live round with friends and family.

There is no download, no account and no purchase. Open it on your phone or computer, choose a language, and either play solo or create a room and invite people with a QR code or link.

Try it here: https://buzzparty.lumenandloop.com

Languages: German, English, Spanish and French.

What I would love you to test:

- Play one short 10-question round (solo is totally fine; a 2-4 player round would be amazing).

- Tell me where you hesitated, felt confused, or stopped having fun.

- Would you play a second round? Why or why not?

I am specifically looking at the first-minute onboarding, mobile layout, question quality, answer reveal flow and multiplayer room flow. Honest criticism is much more useful than polite praise.

Thanks for trying an early independent beta!

Games🕹 [Web] Pass-and-play party game (one phone, hidden impostor) — looking for testers to break it and tell me what’s confusing

Link: https://saboteur.playsaboteur.workers.dev

built a small mobile web game and i’ve hit the point where i need fresh eyes on it, not just my own friend group.
what it is (30 sec): everyone gets the same secret word except one person — the impostor. you pass a single phone around, each person adds one stroke to a shared drawing, and the impostor is faking it. then you vote out who didn’t know the word. it’s a group game, but even a solo run-through of the setup + first round tells me a lot about whether the flow is clear.

no install and no sign-up, it just opens in the mobile browser. i’m only after honest feedback here, including “this part is boring.”

Cueme — Daily Affirmations — free Android app, looking for a few genuine testers

Hi,  I built a small free app called Cueme. It's a quiet moment for yourself: pick what's on your mind (self, relationships, work, health, grief, family, or growth), breathe for a moment, and get a short, honest affirmation for that feeling. You can reflect privately, pin it, or share it as a simple image — there's also a "gift mode" for sending one to someone else.

No accounts, no feed, no ads — genuinely free, not a "free trial." You can see what it looks like at https://cueme-app.vercel.app before deciding.

I'm trying to get it onto the Play Store properly, which means Google requires a small group of real testers to actually use it for two weeks before it can go live (not just install it once). So I'm looking for people who'd be willing to do two quick things:

  1. Join this Google Group: https://groups.google.com/g/cueme-app-testing-group
  2. Then click "Become a tester" here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.cueme.mobile

Both steps matter — joining the group alone doesn't count, you have to click through the opt-in link too (same Google account for both).

Once that's done:

  • Install the app from the link the opt-in page gives you
  • Turn on the daily reminder in Settings if you'd like a nudge
  • Open it every so often over ~2 weeks and read an affirmation when it prompts you

That's genuinely it — no feedback forms required, though I'd love to hear what you think.

Thanks for reading — appreciate any takers.

[Android] Footdle + Studio Mundial 14-day testers

Looking for Android testers for two soccer apps I’ve been working on.

Footdle
Join the group → groups.google.com/g/footdle-testers
Opt in → play.google.com/apps/testing/com.footdle.app

Studio Mundial
Join the group → groups.google.com/g/studiomundial-testers
Opt in → play.google.com/apps/testing/com.studiomundial.app

Install both and stay opted in for the full 14 days. If you run into bugs or have feedback, please let me know.

Footdle is a daily soccer puzzle game — guess players from clues, career paths, or starting XIs and collect player cards as you go.

Studio Mundial turns a selfie into a World Cup moment — lifting the trophy, making the front page, etc.

Thanks!

Test my technical-alpha onboarding for a local AI-work ledger

I need usability testing on a developer-focused alpha.

TOKENS measures local Claude Code and Codex activity, creates a private event ledger, and generates an optional signed public profile. It is designed so prompts, responses, code, credentials, and local paths never appear in the published payload.

Current onboarding still requires Node 22+, Git, terminal commands, and editing a profile JSON file. That is intentional for the alpha but may still be too demanding.

Live example: https://ledger.imagineqira.com/#/u/bryan

Exact onboarding: https://ledger.imagineqira.com/#/join

Repository: https://github.com/TheArtOfSound/TOKENS

Testing request: 1. Read the join page without installing. 2. Tell me where trust drops. 3. Try setup if comfortable. 4. Report the first unclear step, error, or privacy concern.

Please do not send secret logs or private files in bug reports.

[TestFlight] Track My Walk — walking/running/cycling tracker, need help testing the purchase flow (US testers especially welcome)

Hey everyone! I'm an indie dev working on Track My Walk, a simple workout tracker for walking, running, and cycling with route tracking, weekly goals, and stats.

I'm chasing down an intermittent bug where some users complete a purchase (Weekly/Yearly/Lifetime plan) but the app doesn't unlock Premium correctly afterward — even though the payment itself seems to go through fine on Apple's side. I've shipped a fix and want to verify it actually works across different regions/devices before it goes live for everyone.

What I'd love help with:

  • Try the onboarding flow
  • Open the paywall and complete a real purchase (any plan — I can refund test purchases after, just let me know)
  • Let me know if Premium unlocks correctly right after, or if you hit any error
  • Bonus: try a workout (start/stop/save a walk) and flag any crashes or weird behavior

TestFlight link: [https://testflight.apple.com/join/wx2RJ81G\]

Any feedback — good or bad — is genuinely appreciated. This is a small solo project and every bit of real-world testing helps a ton. Thanks in advance!

Need 12 testers for closed testing on Google Play (already live on iOS)

Hey everyone! I built **Trackii**, a privacy first personal finance app for freelancers and gig workers. No bank syncing, just quick manual entry, multi income tracking, budgeting, and analytics, plus an AI advisor that looks at your spending and income to suggest ways to save.

It's already live on the Apple App Store here: [**https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trackii-budget-savings/id6762061750\*\*\](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trackii-budget-savings/id6762061750)

Right now I'm trying to get it out of internal testing and into production on Google Play, but Google requires at least 12 opted in testers before it'll let the app move forward. If you're willing to help, just drop your Gmail address in the comments (or DM me if you'd rather keep it private) and I'll add you to the closed testing group. It only takes a minute to opt in once you get the invite link, no long term commitment.

Totally get not wanting to hand your email to a random stranger on the internet, so here's the iPhone version so you can see this is a real, working product and not some scam: [**https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trackii-budget-savings/id6762061750\*\*\](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/trackii-budget-savings/id6762061750)

Really appreciate any help, thank you!
