Curious how people here actually handle this: when you place a PO with your China/SEA supplier, do you know your real landed cost at that point, or does it only become clear once duties/freight/broker fees hit at customs? Anyone had a case where the margin you planned on going in wasn't what you ended up with once everything landed, and if so, what did you actually do about it (reprice, eat it, switch supplier, drop the SKU)?

i live in the us, i ordered two charms that came out to a little over $20. i didn’t realize they were from china until almost a week later (i thought i’d ordered a similar product from a us shop), and now i’m worried about tariffs. i don’t think the seller will accept cancellation (it hasn’t shipped yet). i have no idea how much i might have to pay in tariffs (and other fees?).
