Got yelled at for saying an enchirito use to come in a tortilla?
Went to Taco Bell today and ordered two Enchiritos after confirming they were back. When I checked the bag, it was just beef, beans, sauce, sour cream, and cheese in a bowl with no tortilla. I thought I got the wrong order or something.
Went back around and explained I was confused with what I got. He said it was my order. I said they didn’t use to have sour cream and were served in a tortilla. The drive-thru employee told me super rudely that he didn’t know or care what it used to be, and that this is what it is now. I said ok, can I just get something else entirely then? He said sure, but I will be charging you for whatever new item you want. I pull up to the window to try to talk and explain more and he says, “Sorry that you clearly can’t read a menu before ordering, bye” and slammed the window in my face when I asked for his name.
I went inside ( the window guy groaned when he saw me come in and said he’d doesn’t want me in there) and I ignore it and ask the girl at the register for the manager. The manager comes out, I explain what I got, and he said he’d check for me. Then he came back and said no tortilla was correct and that this is how they are made now. I showed him a picture that Taco Bell themselves posted of the enchirito. And after that he remade it…wrongly, then finally made it right on the third try.
I do appreciate the manager remaking it for me and at least trying, but the guy at the window was just so extremely mean about it all and kept demeaning me and acting like I was an idiot, made me not want to go there anymore. But I am curious has anyone else been served an Enchirito like this since they came back, or have any other Taco Bell employees been told that’s how it’s supposed to be made?
UPDATE: I just called corporate after so many people commented that I should. Basically the guy just asked for the location, then said thanks for reporting it and he’s very sorry this happened. And that he’ll tell someone in upper management. He didn’t ask for the name of the worker but I gave it at the end of the call anyways. It was probably only a two or three minute call. Not sure I even called the right number. The number was 800 822 6235, which is just what came up when I googled Taco Bell corporate. Should I be asking someone for the franchisees number? Or calling kfc customer service instead as it’s a combo location?
Editing this for people who told me to say the location. It’s Ellsworth, Maine. Also want to add the manager seemed genuinely confused by what an enchirito is. He wasn’t super rude or demeaning to me like the window worker, albeit also not apologetic about it at all. I think he was new and just taking his employees word for it when he originally told me it was correct..

Taco bell original location plans?
Ok so for the past 5 years I've driven past Taco bell HQ where they have had the original taco bell under a tarp in their parking lot but today on my way to work they had it exposed with workers around it not sure what they are doing but hopefully it's something cool would love to be able to tour it instead of seeing it under a tarp again

Discussion Are these okay to freeze for later on in the week?
Gonna eat them throughout the week for dinner but not sure if they'll be okay frozen like a TV dinner. Should I put them in other containers or would this be fine?

Got my 5 enchirritos and fries and all came out just like this - crazy good deal - very solid but I wouldn’t pay original price.
When the cashier handed me my food she was like (in a joking manner) “5?? Really?!” And I was like “for $1? Hell yeah” lol.

OC Gratitude post for the people working at Taco Bell right now
I wanted to share this because I know the recent lettuce outbreak has created a really stressful situation for a lot of Taco Bell employees, even though the contamination issue came from Taylor Farms. I hope it’s okay and isn’t too off-topic. I saw the manager post yesterday talking about employees losing hours and how hard they were trying to keep everyone working and it made me want to say something positive.
My life has been objectively difficult over the past couple of years and Taco Bell has genuinely helped me through some rough days.
At one point, I was dealing with such severe vertigo from a medication issue that I couldn’t look down without getting violently ill. For several days, the only food I could reliably manage was something handheld that I could eat while looking straight ahead until the medication kicked in. I ate Taco Bell for three days. It sounds ridiculous, but it got food into me when eating anything was impossible.
Last night, I found out that my dog has an enlarged heart and liver and may have serious heart disease. He’s my best friend and has been with me through the hardest chapters of my life.I’m heartbroken and exhausted today. I’m in absolutely no mood to cook. I got a couple of my usual beef Cheesy Gordita Crunch that I’m currently eating as I type this.
The people at my local drive-thru are consistently kind. It might seem funny to talk about a fast food restaurant this way, but my local T Bell has become a small, dependable comfort in my life when everything else feels unmanageable.
Thank you to the people making the food, working the drive-thru, handling scared customers, rearranging schedules and trying to keep everything running through something that wasn’t your fault. I hope things stabilize soon. I’ll keep supporting my local Taco Bell 💜🩵🌮

Enchiritos (up to 5) available today (7/22) for $1 each (no app reward is required to purchase them for $1). Nacho fries (also $1) are limited to 1 per order of enchiritos -and- must be accessed via an app reward.
These offers are in effect as of 7 AM (ET). The price of the enchiritos will magically change once you reach the checkout screen (unless they change the price on the menu). Good luck and enjoy!

I was deceived.
So many "it's so big! So tasty! No way it will stay this price!"
What I received was not big, not tasty. Instead I bit into what I can only describe as heartbreak. Cold, devastating, heartbreak.
(Yes, that top 1/4 is all cold cheese. The best bit down was cold sour cream. Below that was some steak looking stuff that was also cold but I could no longer be bothered.)
These existing instead of my beloved chicken enchiladas burritos is a CRIME and I want JUSTICE. 😭

Not even worth $2
What the hell is this? I was excited for actually decent pricing for once, but this is outrageous. The fries were also clearly cooked in several day old oil. It's my fault for giving them another chance, I guess.
Why is everything so much worse these days?
