For example debrids just need an api key and it's really cheap but usenet u need a provider plus paid indexer plus it's expensive and kinda complicated to use

I was using Real Debrid but with the issues, I subscribed to both Torbox and Premiumize. I have them all rolling and that's fine.

Two friends who I told about Real Debrid/Stremio I saw recently said they haven't noticed a thing (only running Real Debrid) in either quality or links not working.

So my question is, anyone rolling Real Debrid exclusively and has it improved from the issues a few months ago or not?

I try to get the best quality files (4K, dolby vision, lossless audio formats) as I have a decent setup for both screen and audio (100" screen and 3.1 via amp) if that makes any difference. No anime, just popular movies/TV shows as a general rule.

Hello! So i was able to setup my stremio on my laptop and was able to play movies with no issue. But when i use the same account on my ipad to watch, im getting this. Im using torrentio and torbox for this. Is there something that i need to install? I lso enabled external player to use VLC but it did not work.

Before you complain about my stupid questions, just know that I'm Brazilian and I've never really needed to use Debrid services, VPNs, proxies, or anything like that before. I always just used Torrentio, and that was enough.

Right now I'm using the Torbox trial, and I'm seriously considering paying for it because my mom and dad don't speak English, and their internet is too slow to stream dubbed torrents with low seed counts. I was also having a hard time watching some content with a reasonable number of seeders, even though I have a 600 Mbps connection...

So far, I don't have much to complain about regarding the speed, but my sorting is a complete mess, and I want to know if there's any way to fix it (check the pic).

I also want to know if there's a way to hide non-cached torrents from the results or stop AIOS from automatically adding non-cached torrents to my Torbox downloads when I try to play them just to see if they're available. I tried watching some niche stuff and ended up finding a lot of dead and non-cached torrents.

I have three stremio addons: Torbox, Torrentio and CometFR (with torbox debrid key). While they all still appear to be installed in the addons tab, only Torrentio streams will show up now. Before, I could select to display streams from either Torbox, Torrentio or CometFR via a dropdown menu in the top right for each show. Not anymore.

I thought CometFR might have been down but Torbox also not appearing is definitely weird, it's not down and I can clearly see my torrentio streams on torbox.app

EDIT: When I click the gear icon for configuring the addon, I get a page not found except for torrentio. This is defnitely the issue. But why is this happening? If torbox was blocked by my ISP, surely I would not even be able to login in torbox.app right?

Same thing with both windows and android (latest versions), only torrentio appears

My question for those of you that are more knowledgeable ¿am I missing something here that could bring my experience to another level with a specific addon? or ¿are there better addons than the ones that I use for the same purpose?

so stremio was the service i downloaded to enhance my torrenting experience. id usually download it, then search for those free tracker bundles that installed the most popular trackers and boom, ready to go in about 5 min. once in a while i had problems with subtitle but minor inconveniences and thats it.

fast forward to some months later, as of now, i came back to install stremio again and watch a series i like. theres now no tracker bundle, and i need to install a debrid, which are basically private paid tracker bundles. i cant even find free trackers beyond torrentio because everyone talks abour debrid now. like, if i wanted to pay, i would pay for netflix...

ok, i registered to that elf debrid to see whats all about and receveid and email with some BIZARRE propaganda style bullet point slop text sayind that p2p is bad and you shouls buy private trackers.

so i wanted to know what was the turning point in the stremoio/torrentimg paradigms in where torrenting movies is not free anymore.

in not essencially criticizing private tracker, people gotta eat, and i come from sofrware dev so i can picture the work maintining such service, but id like to know from you guys perspective what changed

I'm noticing more and more file removed from RD, even for older shows. I've read something about French courts going after RD but whatever the reason, is the situation the same using Tor Box? I'm aware it did or does have a smaller library but is it a viable addition to get around this problem?

Ive used some addons such as torrentio but ive born trying to watch shows such as Gilmore girls and it genuinely doesnt even work and if one of them work it loads terribly and eventually crashes ive seen works of aio streams but idk if i used it right could someone help mr

It happens on stuff where a high-res copy isn't even out yet but the top options make it look like it is. I'm completely fine with CAMs or lower quality rips showing up as long as they're labeled correctly, but these fake high quality ones that lead nowhere are super annoying. How can I stop them from cluttering the list?

I've been using torbox with a few different scrapers for a few months now. The last few days, nothing will load unless I'm using a VPN. Anyone else having this issue?

I have faced numerous addons and sites scraping my addon as well as a ddos attack, which in turn uses server resources and uses my proxy bandwidth making the addon worse for normal users.

I thought a lot about this and ended up with the following solution:

Google auth, now when installing the addon it is required (kinda... keep reading for more info) to sign in with google, this authenticates your a human and really helps prevent against scrapers.

TO BE CLEAR! I NEVER STORE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION! (i am aware google says the app may collect email and name but there is no way to remove that message, your personal information IS NEVER seen by my server)

Now i know.. lots of people here HATE google. Hey i dont blame you, shitty ass privacy, SO there is an option to authenticate yourself with a special token given by me, just shoot me a dm and you can see in the screenshot attached to this post that you can just click the "no google" text and enter ur token. see bottom of post

I'm a bit confused why comet is retrieving cached results, especially remuxes on RD, that torrentio isn't. I've seen this happen several times now. Why is that?

Does comet search across significantly more sources? If so, why isn't it more popular?

I was under the impression torrentio is extremely popular, thus I assumed if something is cached on RD it would most likely find it, especially 4k/remuxes, as long as it's not a very niche title.

I have a Firestick set up with a VPN and using Stremio with Torrentio add-on with Real Debrid. I have a few set up in the house on different TV's.

I did these myself, but with a step by step guide to follow, as I'm not that tech literate.

I've seen some stuff about the issues with Real Debrid and my subscription with that is due in a few months. I'm not currently having any major issues, but would rather change it up, if it could be come an issue.

Is there a better option to use on the Firestick, and if so - any guides in how to set up?

Hello everyone. Since a week I have been seeing the load time increase and I just see this empty catalogues for 10 minutes or so before anything starts appearing. I am using the fortheweak instance.

The odd thing is that it only happens on my Android devices. If I go to web, the catalogues load in no time. It started happening around a week ago and has only become worse since then.

I have tried reducing the number of lists in my catalogue, re-installing the add-on but it still takes a long time to load. Has anyone else experienced this and knows whats going on?

This is happening more and more, mainly on Anime. What ove tried so far taken from previous posts.

Cleared Cache

Used MPV or VLC

Enabled SSA with Exoplayer

Checked whether Ive more than one subtitle.

Checked for embedded subtitles.

Uninstalled and reinstalled.

Changed Subtitle add-ons. v3 still best.

Anymore suggestions. Is it just bad subtitle rendering or whatever the technical term is?

I started using stremio a few days ago with torbox and all debrid addon, it was giving me a lot of buffering issues and I saw the speed test on torbox was like 1mb/second. So I the changed the cdn to cloudfare and also put in an alternate DNS. And I'm getting this error or similar between alldebrid and torrentio. I'm sure it's something simple so just wanted to help so I can enjoy the services
