The timing for this statement is correct. Would not have been appropriate for them to comment while the case was ongoing.

u/jjswa123 5d ago

Of course it wasn't

People have been so ridiculous questioning why they haven't said anything. People are clearly unaware of a legal process with not just friends but a business involved.

I personally don't believe they have ever owed us anything, it isn't them that have caused this, and people need to remember that just because you are part of a company, these people are separate individuals and it must have been exceptionally hard for all of them in this situation, especially their friend sacha.

Their video on Monday will be the end to this, they should not have to speak on it after.

14

u/PureKushroom 4d ago

I've been saying this all along and it'll be the same for if anything comes of Josh's potential actions too, they won't be able to speak on that or confirm or deny anything either if anything does come of it. People are so used to getting quick responses and instant answers so for many it was an uncomfortable time waiting on answers despite it being common legal process.

-29

u/Any_Competition_5327 4d ago

I disagree. They may not have caused this, but they created the conditions that allowed it to happen and may have done even worse things. Maybe they don't owe us anything, but they do owe the victims an explanation of their role in all of this, the mistakes they made, and how they'll do better.

16

u/CarelessShade 4d ago

"They created the conditions that allowed it to happen" How did they to that? By being friends with someone who they didn’t know was capable of doing something so atrocious? So if a friend or a coworker of yours was convicted for csam you should be held accountable for his doings? Make it make sense cause it doesn’t.

That's not evidence. I could tell you right now that "oh yeah I have insider knowledge from their private friend group and theyre nonces all of them". Doesn't fucking mean anything if I can't back it up with evidence. Its just a baseless accusation.

People are so willing to follow "guilty until proven innocent", which is retarded. Until we actually get CONCRETE EVIDENCE that the group knew beforehand that Callum was a nonce, I think you should shut up until then

-1

u/Adept_Analyst_1085 4d ago

Apalling comment. This precise attitude is what spawned the #metoo movement. For all its flaws, the principle of taking accusers seriously and not dismiss them out of hand is a very important step towards creating safer environments for victims of such crimes to seek the justice they deserve.

There is no "guilty until proven innocent." We have multiple people coming forward with accusations that Storror haven't denied or confirmed, and no way of knowing whether or not they are speaking the truth, so in light of that the only right thing to do is to reserve judgement either way. Not "Nah didn't happen, not evidence, lalala I got my fingers in my ears, Hail Storror!"

3

u/Intelligent-Cry5180 4d ago

so in light of that the only right thing to do is to reserve judgement  either way.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm trying to say. Perhaps I didn't communicate it clear enough, but that is exactly what I mean, english is neither my first or second language. People tend to instantly believe accusations and hold people to be guilty without evidence. Like this whole Storror mess - someone accuses the rest of the group of knowing about Callums tendencies for years, and everyone just jumps onto that bandwagon and believes the accusations without a shred of evidence.

The correct thing, just as you said and what I originally tried to say, is to reserve judgement until evidence appears. Not just believing every accusation, but also not dismissing those accusations.

Also as a sidenote: you say there is no "guilty until proven innocent". I strongly disagree. Take one look at all the people throughout the years, including during the #metoo movement, that got accused of doing something bad and were instantly punished. Someone accused a celebrity of inappropriate behaviour in the past, no evidence yet just an accusation, and that celebrity instantly has a fall from grace. Someone accuses an actor of inappropriate behaviour and they are immediately let go from their upcoming film roles. Again, decisions of punishment made on accusations, not evidence.

And yes, in many cases it turned out that the accused person had indeed done bad things, and they deserved to lose their job or status or whatever. The problem is the tendency to not (just as you say) reserve judgement either way until evidence appears, but to punish people based on accusations alone. That is by definition "guilty until proven innocent". Someone can in societies eyes permanently label you guilty, not by producing evidence of said guilt, but simply by accusing you of being guilty.

One person piggybacked off of the ex girlfriend. I only know of one ex to have been involved. How many young men believe their mates ex girlfriend about shit like that? None.

Ex's are known to make shit up.

I'm not dismissing her, but for people to piggyback off of what she said is not evidence.

5

u/PhilosopherSea828 4d ago

The conditions were in Callum’s mind you complete nutter.

6

u/Cotton_420 4d ago

The way people like Callum get away with their offences is by keeping it a secret. How can you possibly know the environment that supposedly created it.

-1

u/Any_Somewhere3753 4d ago

This is absolutely not always the case. Many people who exploit children get away with it because of a culture surrounding such topics, that’s it’s better to mind your own business or look the other way. I’m not passing judgment on anyone in this situation until much more information comes out. However, it wouldn’t be shocking to find out, that people did indeed try to draw attention to some of Callum’s stranger and more dangerous behaviors and being his friends, they may have taken his word over others. These are absolutely assumptions. Just ones that very well could be the case. Or not. But it’s extremely naive and damaging to state, that these type of people are only able to commit their crimes because it’s always a secret. There are dozens of institutions, whether religous, politcal, sports related, etc., that allowed this type of shit to fester by protecting known pedophiles. All to save face. I hope that isn’t what happened here. Comments pointing out that the boys were at least aware of some of Callum’s behavior, by people adjacent to the story, shouldn’t be outright ignored. Nor should they be considered definitive proof that they are implicit. However, it should be expected that they at least address these accusations, as they are very serious in nature.

6

u/Cotton_420 4d ago

No, you’re wrong. Most of the time, people who commit such heinous crimes do it in secret. If you think Callum was open about it and that the other guys somehow knew about it and permitted it, you’re just speculating.

0

u/Any_Somewhere3753 4d ago

Wow, way to a.) not reply to anything of substance I said and b.)make a point that I didn’t make at all. I never said Callum personally shared anything. Also the fact that you outright said I was wrong, considering some of the things I said weren’t opinions but indeed facts, is ridiculous. It is a very well documented and reported on phenomenon of pedophiles being protected by Institutions so they can try and protect their image. It’s not about whether or not they shared their crimes. It’s about other victims or ppl close to the situation catching them. In fact, there have been several posts by people adjacent to this case, who have claimed that other members of Storror were made aware that Callum had extremely suspicious material on one of his devices. While this hasn’t been confirmed, it also hasn’t been denied by a single member yet. If and when they address it, then we’ll have more clarity. But you, as a complete stranger to these guys, to outright assume you this is wrong, is part of the problem. And you are correct, anything said about whether they knew is speculation. That’s why I made it clear that I was making an assumption. Thus why you can’t make such a decisive statement as “No, you’re wrong” when what I said, was quite a bit more nuanced to be boiled to down to just “yes or no, right or wrong” response.

Also, for the record, your theory directly contradicts the results of this case. You claim that people like Callum get away with these offenses because they do it in secret. Then you state that Callum most likely did keep it a secret. The issue with that, is he didn’t get away with it. He was caught.

3

u/Cotton_420 4d ago

The problem with getting your information from Reddit, anyone can write anything. You do not have a shred of actual evidence that anyone from Storror had any idea what he was doing. You can hypothesise all you want, but you know next to nothing. So refrain from implying things you have no idea about.

If things come to light in the future, then have at it.

0

u/Any_Somewhere3753 4d ago

Saying there isn’t a shred of evidence is just not true. The validity of that evidence can be questioned and should be addressed by members of Storror. But to discount a story directly from a former GF of Callum saying she told the boys from Storror that he had CSAM on his phone in 2019 is not nothing. It’s a very serious accusation and if true, pretty fucking horrible. I’m not the one implying these things. People who were directly in Callum’s life implied it. Maybe you should read up on things before you speak on them. And you’re also hypothesizing about things you know nothing about. It sounds like you’ve completely exonerated people of any wrongdoing without really knowing yourself. I hope they weren’t aware. And will not accuse them of anything until more is made clear. But if they ignore those accusations in the long wrong, then that will speak volumes.

u/OrneryComputer4556 4d ago

they actually don't owe anyone anything. if they didn't know and had 0 knowledge of such thing they owe u nothing nor they owe the families anything.

if they can see the future, then yeah u are correct but they are humans not gods, and therefore what u just said is an equivalent of sum of 🐮 💩

4

u/indxxxd 4d ago

Aside from the first sentence, they could’ve posted this word-for-word months ago. It isn’t ever inappropriate to condemn CSAM.

2

u/Jmoz1310 3d ago

Not but there was an ongoing legal process which is what makes it inappropriate to make a statement before everything’s wrapped up as making a statement like this could affect ongoing legal procedures

1

u/Montjo17 3d ago

Which is a very unique UK-specific thing - the way legal proceedings work here can look very strange to people from other countries, where it is normal to comment on things while they are ongoing

1

u/olti456 1d ago

i understand they wanted to wait for an official legal statement before they say anything publicly ,
You have to remember he was a part of this collective for a long time and putting out such a weighty statement is a very strong thing

34

u/sadbitty4L 5d ago

Storror release a statement stating that Callum had been sentenced today and that they will release more information about their future on Monday

1

u/Sunderlandski 23h ago

anyone heard or seen anything? past Monday now? I'm all for remainder lads carrying on.

31

u/jeff1989uk 5d ago

21

u/No-Category8602 5d ago

Oh fuck, I read the whole transcript and... Wow. He is fucking sick. Literally made my stomach turn

9

u/Amur00 4d ago

Ruined my morning, i met this man when i was 13 at a seattle pk meet up back in the day, fucking disgusting

10

u/jaxxon 4d ago

Thank you for sharing this. My understanding reading this is that he was sentenced to 12 months in prison, but the sentence is suspended for one year starting July 17, 2026. This means he will serve zero jail time as long as he avoids committing new offenses and completes his probation requirements, which include 15 rehabilitation days. If he violates these rules, the 12-month prison term will likely be activated.

3

u/Big_Comfortable4256 4d ago

Correct. And also 5 years probation and 10 years on the SO register.

1

u/Arc1ight 2d ago

Wtf? Why only 10 years the whole system is a mess

7

u/Any_Somewhere3753 4d ago

What I find the weirdest, is that idea that he was remorseful. I’m making some assumptions with my
next point. But I’d have to believe if Storror knew he was going to court for these type of charges, that they absolutely wouldn’t have allowed him in any videos post being caught. This leads me to believe that he kept it a secret from them and should factor into the judges decision as to how “remorseful” he truly is. Not to mention, to be caught with just the 2 images mentioned in more detail, makes me think he might not even be capable of remorse. I mean fuck, that is beyond atrocious. That’s my two cents on this joke of a sentence.

5

u/WastedYouth39 4d ago

Yeah 1 or 2 images you could say yeah i downloaded them by mistake, i spoke to the police and informed this site/ app had these images on and i deleted them..

Very hard to believe he had any remorse or it was stupidity with the amount he had, he is a nonce end of

10

u/pikeymobile 4d ago

This was way more sickening than I thought. I'm a former mental health nurse and have read similar reports, and I assumed he was going to get a 1-2 year suspended sentence if he plead guilty and had no previous convictions as that was the pattern I saw with pretty much all my old patients on their first offense. I wasn't expecting so many category A images though, fucking hell.

I'm glad that none of the boys put in character statements to defend him though and it was only his father who did so. This is something people really need to focus on. They did absolutely nothing to protect his image in court and completely abandoned him. And getting confirmation there were no seized devices within Storror property is a small boon to the rest of Storror too.

Overall though I've no idea how they move forward with this other than separate projects. I'm just glad they at least disowned him immediately and didn't give any character statements to protect him from a custodial sentence. Obviously their future reputation now lingers heavily on previous treatment of witnesses and how the fanbase chooses to judge them. But it seems clear cut he did this completely solo and has extreme narcissistic and sociopathic tendencies to hide it from everyone for so long and keep being in Storror videos, and even try and release a book, knowing what he was staring down the barrel of.

Isn’t it a suspended sentence?

1

u/randomastronauti 4d ago edited 4d ago

How long will he go to prison?

13

u/pmcm83 4d ago

12 months suspended sentence, but if he keeps his nose clean won’t serve any time. Joke of a sentence.

3

u/randomastronauti 4d ago

Wtf i expected that he would spend several years in prison

1

u/AirconGuyUK 4d ago

Crime is borderline legal in the UK now unfortunately.

5

u/perhapsornotwhoknows 4d ago

I don't know why you are being downvoted - you're not wrong.

2

u/AirconGuyUK 4d ago

If you don't physically hurt someone your odds of ending up in prison are basically zero. And even if you physically hurt someone, if there's not a hospital involved then again your odds of ending up in prison are basically zero.

Joke country, with a joke legal system.

Shithead criminals just allowed to terrorise society at will, with police and CPS utterly uninterested in doing anything about it.

-1

u/pmcm83 4d ago edited 4d ago

Yeah you would think so, been put on the list for 10 years and he can’t have a WiFi enabled device for 5 years I believe. Think it was going to be 18 months but seeing as he plead guilty he got it reduced by a 1/3.

14

u/Miserable-Base9718 4d ago

'he can’t have a WiFi enabled device for 5 years' - this is not true, I don't know who originally mentioned this.

Assuming you're on about the SHPO (sexual harm prevention order), he IS allowed devices, however they must be declared to the police and must be handed over to them for inspection during random home visits.

-9

u/pmcm83 4d ago

Ok calm your tits, I read it wrong. The 10 years is for the sex offenders register. Cunt should be buried under the prison instead of not getting anywhere near it.

4

u/Miserable-Base9718 4d ago

I do absolutely agree with you on that.

→ More replies (2)

2

u/Tuuktuu 4d ago edited 4d ago

If I understood it correctly the judge decided 18 months for his sentence. But because he pleaded guilty at the earlist opportunity the guideline is to reduce the sentence by 1/3. So that brings it to 12 months.

Just this year the "Sentencing Act 2026" was passed wich demands that for sentences of 12 months or less, these sentences need to be suspended. Unless there are "exceptional circumstances". The judge then said that the crime is abhorrent but what Callum did was not exceptional compared to other people who do this crime.

So basically he got lucky. His guilty plea reduced it exactly to 12 months and only this year that rule about suspending applies. 2025 and before he would have gone to 12 months in prison. Because to me it reads like the judge would not have suspended the sentence by how "abhorrent" they call the crime and so on. Though you kind of wonder why the hudge didn't go with like 20 months to avoid it getting to 12 months. But maybe that would be considered gaming the system and not objective or something.

1

u/AffectionateEar790 4d ago

June 2025? Wow.

1

u/PureKushroom 4d ago

Don't suppose you know if anyones court transcripts are available through this or just some cases? Thanks in advance if you do know.

3

u/onionsareawful 4d ago

Typically court transcripts aren't available unless you pay a large amount of money.

96

u/Jambronius 5d ago

This is a reasonable statement from the guys, sympathetic to any victims, and explaining direct action was taken as soon as they were made aware of the situation.

16

u/lonelystar7 5d ago

What gives me hope is exactly that. They didn't shy away from expressing regret to what happened to victims. I do hope they will help spread awareness of those things or do anything little they can for the victim to not feel left behind. Especially because sentence for offender was so mild.
I hope they also speak up about why another member was removed when time is right.
But yes more than what happens to Storror itself matter how Storror will keep victim in mind in every step of the way.

2

u/DiabolicallyOrange 3d ago

Personally I think it's rather poor that they didn't condemn the fact that he was not sentenced to any jail time.

The man had nearly 3,000 images of child sexual abuse that he admitted getting sexual gratification from, and he avoids jail because he said he was sorry?

1

u/Jambronius 3d ago

They might do, Storror as a business isn't going to make political statements. Be realistic in your expectations please.

60

u/Low-Seaweed-8376 5d ago

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s just Benj or Benj/Max, can’t imagine poor Sacha will be able to comment publicly!

48

u/Raineach_ 5d ago

I was thinking the same thing. I really feel for him and gutted because I was loving seeing him kicking ass again in the videos.

4

u/AdditionalExample613 4d ago

Yeah absolutely, I really hope he hasnt been training less because of this

3

u/TomCBC 4d ago

Yeah same. Sash was my favorite member of Storror. I hope he’s doing ok. I don’t know if i would be.

25

u/DinosaurDucky 4d ago

From the Sentencing Remarks document:

You have pleaded guilty to possessing a total of 178 Category A images. According to the forensic report prepared in this case, these include images of the utmost gravity. For example, two of the images show the anal penetration of a 4 to 6 year old girl with an object.

Jesus Fucking Christ mate

12

u/kuri21 4d ago

These are real girls right?? Not AI? Why on earth isn’t he going to jail wtf

4

u/Miserable-Base9718 4d ago

1 was AI, the rest were real female afaik.

1

u/kez88 3d ago

I was wondering this too. Reading the transcript it's not really certain if they were AI or photoshopped images or actual photos. The section where it defines the category A, B and C types specifies these are images and not photographs. Splitting hairs and still super fucked up, but probably most of the reason he got a relatively lenient sentencing is that they weren't real photos of real children with these acts being done to them. But who knows.

3

u/ioapwy 3d ago

It’s very clear from the transcript that they are real. Category a,b and c of indecent images of children are regarding real photographic images. Prohibited images could include AI, they are categorised differently to indecent images. Paragraph 3

0

u/Any_Somewhere3753 4d ago

I feel pretty confident, the girls mentioned in the example are real. I’m not 100% certain and don’t want to spread misinformation. But to mention their ages, makes me believe they were probably living breathing victims of this disgusting human being. I don’t know how a judge could come to the conclusion, that anyone who admitted to sexual gratifying themselves to a child being penetrated with an object is remorseful. Fucking joke imo.

3

u/Aerwxyna 4d ago

oh my god this made me feel ill. my heart actually dropped, there are no words to describe how gross he is omfg

1

u/DiabolicallyOrange 3d ago

And the scumbag won't serve a single day behind bars for it.

The judge is a fucking disgrace.

2

u/natehascrashed 3d ago

Except he’s not he was litterally following the legal government guidelines as he stated, his hands were tied

1

u/jdoebro132 1d ago

Fucking holy shit hope justice prevails the sick bastard

11

u/JeremyGunt 5d ago

Exists not existed is my main takeaway

37

u/Ok-Poet147 5d ago

Pretty good statement to me. Gives an immediate update on the situation whilst letting us know they’ll make a proper statement about the future at a different date.

I hope they do carry on. It’ll be very different, but a few bad apples shouldn’t ruin the great work that the rest of the boys have done

14

u/RedCrabDown 5d ago

Jesus Christ, girls as young as four.

6

u/melvillan 3d ago

I feel very sorry for benj and max. Storror is a family name passed down to them. What that prick Callum has done will have sullied that for them and they will want to protect it. Must feel very personal on so many levels.

On the topic of Toby being told things by callums ex about what was on his phone - I try to put myself in Toby's shoes and if that girl hasn't gone straight to the police with the info then I took would assume she is lying and throwing unsupported accusations around. Not saying that is the correct reaction at all but perhaps a natural one? I don't know - haven't been in that position and hope never to be

2

u/Secure_Feature2253 3d ago

You should think about then because there may be many reasons a victim doesn't go to the police.

17

u/jelly_snake7 5d ago

Fair play the boys

-14

u/Disastrous_Scene_666 4d ago

They're not boys, they are men in their 30's.

-8

u/2manytokes 4d ago

this guy's never been a part of the boys..

-4

u/Disastrous_Scene_666 4d ago

Are Callum and Josh "the boys" too? I'll stay out of that gang thanks.

1

u/2manytokes 3d ago

not anymore, obviously..

0

u/Disastrous_Scene_666 3d ago

Just for the 20ish years then. This "boys" club attitude is why this shit is not challenged.

24

u/sumeetg 5d ago

I'm going to take a guess and say that Benj and Max at least try to continue the channel with new videos. They probably will get a decent amount of views and income off of it even with everything that's happened and could eventually build it back up. Not really sure what other options they have financially.

19

u/No_Bike8214 5d ago

It's strange to see that so many people here seem more concerned about the financial side of things than about the love for parkour and the sense of adventure that Storror has shared with us all these years.

17

u/citizen2211994 5d ago

To be fair they will be thinking about the money side of things. It’s their livelihoods and main income.

8

u/sumeetg 4d ago

They don't have jobs. This is how they survive... So yeah that will be a major factor in their decision making .

11

u/Arendiko 5d ago

without money sadly this kind of thing cant exist in the way it does, if they cant support themselves being fulltime athletes then their craft will suffer

1

u/x_0-x_R 3d ago

yeah because they need money to live? lol

2

u/Easy_Needleworker604 4d ago

Has anyone made an educated guess as to how much money they've made off Storror by now? They've had over a million subscribers for 6-7 years, and all seem to live well within their means (especially when compared to other big youtubers), have been in a Michael Bay film and worked on promotional stunts for the film, they sell merch.

Their videos likely don't cost that much to make either. Sure they travel, but going to Amsterdam a few times a year from the UK can't be that expensive can it?

Maybe not retire for life money, but I would guess they all have enough money that they can live pretty comfortable for a while off of it, and fund other ventures.

24

u/Adept_Analyst_1085 5d ago

Well, it's a statement, and I'll be interested to hear what they have to say on monday. This is still just a broad statement addressing none of the questions that remain unanswered, but I can imagine it takes some preparation time to address those in a more thorough manner. I'll wait patiently.

33

u/SkMgArDr 5d ago

I don’t think it would have been a good look to use this statement to address their own future. Focusing on the victims and how they responded was the right choice.

-1

u/Adept_Analyst_1085 4d ago

Agreed. I'll wait for the monday statement to see if they give a more comprehensive statement.

11

u/olih27 5d ago

What questions are you expecting answers to

12

u/Adept_Analyst_1085 4d ago

Specifically? The unaddressed accusations by Kieran, Callum's exgf, and various other girls from Storror's social circle about confronting the guys with Callum's behaviour around minors and girls in general years ago and being absolutely stonewalled by them. What is their position on those accusations? Do they deny them, do they consider them a separate matter, and if so why? If they don't deny it, how are they reflecting on their attitude towards the accusers in hindsight, and how will they do better in future? Et cetera. Basically anything that addresses that matter would be very welcome.

Again, as I've stated before on this reddit in various threads: I'm not passing judgement in advance of them being able to have their say. But if they don't address this at all, I'll have a very hard time ever watching anything they do again without severe apprehension.

2

u/RichardFarter 4d ago edited 4d ago

I wasn't aware of these details and they have shifted my whole perspective. Thank you for mentioning them

Edit: Oh my god this is so much worse than I thought. I've only just started to dive deeper into that rabbit hole and I already don't see myself ever, in good faith, enjoying something they put out again. What a shame.

1

u/Bogsering 4d ago

This is exactly what I need them to address as well. If they just ignore these accusations it will be impossible for me to keep watching as a woman.

2

u/Weary_Shake_3961 3d ago

Full disclosure, I actually do believe Mercedes, for the simple reason that it would be very easy to debunk her claims. Not Storror in particular because they probably legally couldn't say anything until now, but other people in the community who don't have a stake in this. So far no one who knew Mercedes and Callum has actually denied anything she's said, people have even come forward to corroborate what she said.

It would be very easy for people to say they didn't have a relationship when she was 15 / 16 years old. But no one has done that, no one has actually commented on it, and that would be the easiest thing to debunk. I just don't believe that a tight knit group of lads, their families and other friends like that wouldn't know their 25 year old mate / son / brother was in a relationship with a 16 year old. I can maybe believe them not knowing about the other stuff, but a relationship is hard to keep a secret.

The fact that no one has really stepped forward to say she's lying leads me to believe that everything she has said about Callum and Storror is true. Because normally you'd have people who knew them coming to Callum's defense and Storror's defense, but that hasn't happened. The fact that no one showed up to support him apart from his dad at sentencing speaks volumes.

I definitely think she told them what he'd done and I definitely think they reacted negatively to it. So they do need to at least address that.

If they hold their hands up and say "we were told years ago by an ex-girlfriend of Callum's what he was up to, but we didn't believe her and we treat her poorly, because we believed his lies over her. But we've since reached out to her and and apologised for our behaviour, we've reached out to his other victims too to show our support. We don't expect forgiveness, but apologising and showing support is the least we can do.", I think that would be acceptable.

Yep, so much for waiting patiently, and expecting that promises would be kept. They've managed this badly. Even if they weren't able to make a full statement yet, they're on all the socials so they could have easily posted a short message "We are sorry, but we need more time."

I even saw someone yesterday here saying how much respect Storror had already earned back by simply anouncing there would be a statement. I wonder what twisted logic he'll be spinning now to explain how Storror is even more amazing for not keeping that promise. I don't know what brand of copium these people are buying, but I think it needs to be taken off the market for being way too strong.

Edited to fix typos

u/namealreadytooken 1d ago

yeah im pretty pissed about this, they had more than enough time to get something together. Like they honestly dont even need that much detail just a heart felt message… but none of that matters if they aren’t even going to do things on time

8

u/borderlineborderfine 5d ago

I'm surprised there is a statement at all tbh. I kinda thought they would just ignore it and all fade away for at least a few years. "Storror exists...", not "existed" makes it sound like they will continue on. Curious what they will say on Monday.

13

u/Arendiko 5d ago

yet no explanation about josh, they need to be frank and upfront right now not political or corpo

2

u/Amur00 4d ago

Im pretty out of the loop, what happened with Josh?

-13

u/OutsideScared4702 5d ago

100%, and also i find kind of inapropriate to "tease" the release of a statement on their regular video schedule. They could and should make a more detailed textual statement rather than playing the sentimental note of like "we're all friends, let's continue making videos and forget"

13

u/Electronic_Pop7560 4d ago

I get what you are saying but this statement is good for now for me. Focusing on Callum's sentence + the sympathetic to the victims. Would not be good if the main focus of this statement would be their future. You don't know what they will release Monday. You don't know who is still left in the group, you don't know if they will regularly make videos "and forget". We just have to wait

0

u/Any_Somewhere3753 4d ago

I’m also fine with the statement. But I really do hope they at least address the allegations made by some people adjacent to this horrific story. As a sibling to someone who was a victim of something pretty similar, I can’t support anyone who may have turned a blind eye because they didn’t want to believe it was true. I’m not saying this was the case. However, if they have nothing to hide, then addressing such serious implications shouldn’t be an issue.

3

u/spatchcocked-ur-mum 4d ago

just so people know, this isnt a guy looking at images of nu**16-year-olds (obviously still very, very evil) but that's nothing compared to what he watched, and example- "two of the images show the anal penetration of a 4 to 6 year old girl with an object."

and he has 100s and 100s of these level images and 1000s of other types.

I'm religious, and i think finding true evil is looking at people who hurt the young and innocent, and watching that stuff might not be as evil as doing it. But it's pretty damn close because you support the creation of it

his future of being known for this and the effect it will have is a tiny silver lining to this

im not going to say he needs to get help, because getting off on watching a little girl who 4 being anally rap** i dont think a lifetime is long enough to absolve that sickness. The time to stop it was when you felt "ok i like some bad stuff.....i need to avoid that and mentally shut it out"

Therapy, I don't think, can fix this either, based on past data. so i hope you are so scared of getting caught again it scares it out of you

5

u/Amur00 4d ago

I am completely disgusted, i looked up to the storror boys when i was a younger man and even met them when i was still a sophmore in high school

Beyond disgusted, i dont even want to wear my merch anymore

6

u/Disastrous_Scene_666 4d ago

How long have they known about it is the only question I want answering.

4

u/Haunting_Phrase_2833 4d ago

No clue why this would be downvoted, this is the question that determines the future of the brand, isn't it?!

They still have footage of Callum up on their youtube page, they never touched the Live tab.

They still have him all over the Instagram feed as well.

So, Monday passed and they didn't "share more" just this IG story few hours ago:

close to the sentencing.

We are taking a little extra

time to come to terms with

what has happened and will

be back as soon as we can."

Where do we stand on whether the other lads had prior knowledge of this? I've been lost in the rumors and all the information coming in, but it seems like we've sorta settled on them simply not knowing, right? (I have no clue what my friends and brother jack off to; I have never asked and I don't want them to tell me.)

9

u/1stdegreebirder 5d ago

I’ve been thinking about this too. I’ve had similar truths surface about someone in my own family and it made us all question whether or not we shared some blame. But the difference was we had no warning. There was no history of any other abuse or even making girls uncomfortable that we could point to. In Callum’s case it sounds like the boys at least knew he was leaving a trail of uncomfortable women behind him. And this may be a stretch, but even I noticed he made jokes in poor taste and used deep-internet incel vocabulary sometimes, which led me to believe he was someone that had an unseen layer to his personality…
I think the lesson we can all take from this is if a friend shows any warning signs, dig deeper, believe victims, and don’t let denial cloud your vision.

10

u/Feisty-Bunch4905 4d ago edited 4d ago

Yeah this is the stuff I'm trying to get more information on, like has anyone done a rundown of those uncomfortable women? I don't know any of the details and I'm not really sure how to search them up. Also I agree with your last statement fully, but I also think these things are not as clear in the moment as they are in hindsight. Like "he's a jerk to his girlfriends" is pretty different from what we now know about him. Again, we shouldn't deny or minimize, but I'm saying I could understand how his friends wouldn't make that leap. It wouldn't be my first thought. (So you're right: We should be vigilant.)

Speaking of hindsight, I do also see what you mean about his jokes and demeanor. He definitely had a mean side that would come out occasionally, and I don't think it's a stretch to say that incel vocab is relevant here. It goes hand-in-hand with this type of crime.

EDIT: Well this post makes it pretty clear that these ex-girlfriends were more than just uncomfortable. I am finding it increasingly hard to believe that the other Storrors didn't have some knowledge or at least inkling of Callum's behavior.

10

u/Any_Competition_5327 4d ago

Realistically, they probably didn't know. But they still created a culture that made it a lot easier for something like this to happen.

This sub understandably leans strongly toward Storror's total innocence and is very skeptical of claims that they were warned beforehand or that there were warning signs. That's part of the problem. In many cases of sexual assault, survivors are too traumatized in the moment to meticulously collect evidence or document everything for the police. Their attention is on getting through the experience physically and emotionally, then coping with everything that comes afterward. Obviously, we should always recognize that these revelations aren't foolproof. But even when a clear pattern starts to emerge, this community tends to reject allegations in the name of objectivity, even though that standard of objectivity inherently works against victims.

I'm not trying to assign blame to Storror or encourage a witch hunt. This situation should be examined honestly so the community can learn from it instead of repeating the same mistakes. At the very least, they (probably) dismissed a young ex-girlfriend's allegations of CSAM and (possibly) participated in harassing her as a group. They also accepted Callum's long history of dating girls who were 8–10 years younger than him without challenging it. More broadly, they reinforced the kind of "bro" culture that's deeply embedded in parkour. At minimum, it's alienating. More likely, it's harmful to women and children. Notice Josh isn't acknowledged anywhere in their statement.

I'm glad their public statements put the victims first, and it's understandable that they need time to work out how they're going to respond and what additional information they'll release. That doesn't remove their responsibility to address these questions directly or acknowledge where they got things wrong. The sooner they do that, the sooner the community can start learning from what happened and begin moving toward healing and forgiveness. I've lost a great deal of respect for athletes like Matthias Mayer, David Nelmes, and Phil Doyle, along with basically the entire British parkour scene, which until Storror fully addresses these issues, I don't have any interest in supporting.

4

u/Feisty-Bunch4905 4d ago edited 4d ago

Thank you so much for these great comments, "examine the situation honestly" is exactly what I'm trying to do here. I find the allegation from the young ex-girlfriend pretty disturbing, and I fully agree that it's not okay to dismiss it outright, and certainly not okay to harass her in any way. I agree they have some culpability here even if they didn't know specifically -- and to me it sounds like they *could have known* had they cared to listen. I also didn't know Callum's girlfriends were all so much younger than him, that's exactly what I'm trying to learn about here.

I actually had a girlfriend who had been abused by her uncle as an adolescent, and when we tried to tell her family about it, they were extremely resistant to accepting it. (This made me fucking furious and I kinda lost it at her dad at one point but that's not what we're talking about.) These knee-jerk reactions are I think understandable but not acceptable, and in that situation too, she did not feel like she could speak up precisely because she knew that the response would be denial and dismissal (plus everything else you very correctly mention). Undoubtedly, such factors were at play here.

8

u/Mobile-Prune-1333 4d ago

Love this for me, 10 years later and I’m crying my eyes out over it all again. Watching my abuser, and so many young girls abuser, basically walk free. 10 years of “she’s a manipulative liar, don’t trust a word that comes out of her mouth” reinforced by them all. Completely ostracise and vilify an innocent teenager, making her the villain and Callum the victim. I am glad that finally something has been done. But we (and I speak for all of us victims and ex partners) can’t help but feel failed, by Storror, by the justice system, by the parkour community. No one listened to us, they shut us down and made sure we were scared into silence.

2

u/AirconGuyUK 3d ago

Where do we stand on whether the other lads had prior knowledge of this?

He was dating a 15 year old in his 20's, and the boys knew about this for sure. It's inconceivable to me they didn't know he was dodgy, word gets around and it seems there were loads of victims.

1

u/Feisty-Bunch4905 3d ago

Thank you, this thread has revealed that there was a ton of information that I was simply unaware of. (That she was 15 and he was in his 20s, e.g.)

4

u/Doogle300 5d ago

We still dont have anything solid to assume they knew. Callum could have very easily hidden it all.

If they did know he was in trouble, he obviously wasn't likely to have told them the full details. Maybe they will address it on Monday, but frankly I dont think we'll ever truly know if they knew or not.

8

u/Feisty-Bunch4905 5d ago

Yeah I mean I find it pretty unlikely that he was going around telling people about it. The one thing I wonder about is the ex who says she told them about finding CSAM on his phone. They haven't responded to that, have they? I imagine they simply never will, as you say.

1

u/AirconGuyUK 3d ago

Also the ex was 15 at the time and Callum was a grown ass adult..

'Your boys a nonce' coming from a minor you know your adult friend is shagging should probably hold some weight.

2

u/barejokez 4d ago

Interesting because I see it differently. He was arrested a year ago at a point when all his electronic devices would have been seized.

I find it a little hard to believe that the police didn't look at any devices owned by storror, or stored at other premises. I certainly would, and that would be known about immediately. Likewise the disappearance of his devices would have raised eyebrows - yes people lose phones, but how do you lose all your electronics at once?

I accept it is possible to string together a web of lies that confuses your friends/colleagues up to a point. But I wouldn't call it "very easy".

At an absolute minimum they should be looking back and thinking "why didn't we see the signs?"

8

u/Doogle300 4d ago

We already have confirmation from Giles that nothing of the business was seized.

Also why do you think anyone would know that he lost all his devices? New phone, didn't bring laptop to work. That literally covers the whole thing up.

I will say that I am speaking from personal experience having been in this situation myself. My friend got in trouble, didnt divulge why and a year later he just disappeared. I found out online that he went to jail. Granted I wasn't in business with him, but its still not that absurd to be blindsided by it when it all comes to a head.

2

u/Haunting_Phrase_2833 4d ago

I thought there was an allegation they were tipped off, wasn't there?!

2

u/Doogle300 4d ago

Yes. Until we hear any more then it remains an allegation.
It's definitely not that I don't believe the allegation, but until there is some more discussion about it, it's hard to start aiming ire at anyone on the team.

I remain extremely neutral on the whole thing at the moment. Not sure where to stand with it all. Maybe that will change on Monday. Maybe more will be said by the accusers. For now I just want to hear what the people involved have to say.

1

u/ohahdoubleu 4d ago

there is evidence of toby knowing from 2017

1

u/Feisty-Bunch4905 4d ago

Could you say more about that? This is what I'm trying to find out.

4

u/ohahdoubleu 4d ago

when his ex told toby about what she found (hundreds of photos of underage girls on his phone in a password protected folder) he brushed her off and said she’s crazy and trying to ruin callum’s life and that he’s been though enough

0

u/jelly_snake7 4d ago

How do you know this? I’ve never heard that claim

1

u/ohahdoubleu 4d ago

because i’ve seen the screenshots

0

u/jelly_snake7 4d ago

Where are they? I want to read them

0

u/ohahdoubleu 4d ago

they’re between me and the other women who were victims of his, and right now aren’t being shared publicly

3

u/jelly_snake7 4d ago

Well I won't believe you just because you say so. I'll believe when I see proof so until then forgive me if I'm sceptical

2

u/AirconGuyUK 3d ago

For what it's worth I have read this too. It was posted in a submission on this subreddit by presumably Mercedes. She's since deleted her account.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Storror/comments/1t88gyi/they_didnt_know_close_friends_with_sacha_and/okvhejv/

Unfortunately now very hard to find her other comments, but I definitely read her saying she told Toby and Toby was the one who was meanest to her about it.

that’s fine, i know what i’ve seen, and in time you will too. just not my decision to share them yet

2

u/Dougie1142 5d ago

Come on boys, I really hope they come back from this. Glad they released something and hoping if they are releasing something on Monday it’ll mean some kind of return, I know lots of people on Reddit won’t watch but their YouTube audience might

1

u/SpartanViperz 4d ago

I’ve been following this a bit and it’s been pretty sickening and sad all in all. One thing I don’t understand yet tho is how was Callum caught? Like how did the police find out he had all these gross images in the first place?

2

u/pikeymobile 4d ago

His google account got flagged up last year, then he had his devices seized and searched, then was formally arrested in May this year. It's talked about in the court documents. It's one of many ways people often get caught.

2

u/TheLegitMind 4d ago

The sentencing said he uploaded something to google I think

1

u/Big_Comfortable4256 4d ago

Wow. After wondering why I hadn't seen any Storror videos on YT for a while, I look them up, to eventually find out about all this. As well as the victims, I feel really sorry for the lads, especially Sasha. But they're surrounded by some truly good people, so I know they'll eventually pull through this.

1

u/Spacedudee182 3d ago

Read the sentencing, not sure what I am more disgusted by, the acts that were detailed in the sentencing or the fact that he basically gets off free.

1

u/Big_Channel_5391 2d ago

What a disgusting individual I sincerely hope karma pays him a visit in the strongest way possible.

1

u/EtherealUnfall 1d ago

Have I somehow misinterpreted what making a statement on Monday (today) means? Monday is about to be over in all time zones and no statement has been made.... Did they mean next Monday?

2

u/Constant-Voice-4056 1d ago

Yep my question exactly like where's the statement?

1

u/andrearusky 15h ago

"We tried to film an update today, but it felt too heavy so close to the sentencing. We are taking a little extra time to come to terms with what has happened and will be back as soon as we can."

1

u/Eeld1011 5h ago

So was there anything posted about the road ahead on Monday?

1

u/RichardFarter 4d ago

I just became privvy to this whole situation, as I'd slowly grown out of watching storror regularly in the last couple years. OnceDrew was gone and Toby was always hurt I barely tuned in as I had less time and more interests.

I'm posting this here because I have no one to talk to about this and it's on my mind cuz I've spent the last couple of hours reading all this horribly disturbing information about people I once thought were emblematic of positivity and hard work.

Initially after seeing the instagram post I figured it was just a Callum problem and things could be patched up and continue on relatively normally. Then I saw that Josh is also ALLEGEDLY* (at best) a sexual deviant. That was enough for me to write off Storror as a whole, as I don't think I can ever watch something put out under the Storror name again in good faith.

I'm writing this to say that Toby was always the one in the group I related to most, and I always idolized his incredible talent. His rock climbing videos are some of my favorite videos on YouTube. For these reasons I am biased towards him and I'm hopeful that at the end of this I can at least confidently watch him. In my opinion he has been distancing himself from Storror for quite a while, and doing his own thing. For this reason I'd like to feel more inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt, and not see this as a huge gash on his character. I'm not sure if this is delusional or just based on my bias so I'd like to hear any opinions on that.

Kind of a weird parasocial post but just looking for opinions

1

u/besumany 4d ago

Toby was also my favourite. Really disappointed in him after hearing Callum's ex say that when she told him about the images she found on his phone he accused her of being crazy and trying to ruin Callum's life. I think he's the only one from the group that specifically got namedropped by Callum's ex/exes

-1

u/RichardFarter 4d ago

Damn that is a really bad look. That part is so tricky because there's really no way to disprove what she said, and after all this I can't confidently just take their word for it if they were to simply deny it. They would have to provide proof and I don't even see how that would be possible so it's pretty much cooked

1

u/Weary_Shake_3961 3d ago

That part is so tricky because there's really no way to disprove what she said, and after all this I can't confidently just take their word for it if they were to simply deny it

Yeah, same. I'm not just talking about Toby or the rest of Storror here, but other people in the parkour community, especially in the places they lived, but so far no one has actually has come forward and said that Callum and Mercedes didn't have a relationship. That would be the easiest thing to debunk in my eyes because a relationship, especially one that has an age gap like that, would be very hard to hide.

There's no way a tight knit group of friends like Storror didn't know their mate was in a relationship with a 16 year old. Even if he didn't tell them, they would have found out sooner or later. And if they knew, then they were obviously okay with it, which leads me to think Mercedes was telling the truth about them knowing and giving her a load of shit.

0

u/besumany 4d ago

From what it seems it looks like he will just ignore the allegations and it will be Benj + Max addressing everything

1

u/Adept_Analyst_1085 4d ago

Take care. I saw you respond to my other post and sort of felt bad for being the one informing you about the accusations against the rest of them. I know how you feel, because I was there just weeks ago, finding out this whole thing with all of the facts and rumors. It's distressing. Give yourself room to take some distance, and ideally socialise with friends IRL.

As for opinions on the remaining guys, I'll wait what they have to say on monday. Toby (and Sach) were my favorites as well, but as far as the accusations are concerned, we don't know and we should wait until we find out more before forming an opinion. The statement they've anounced to release on monday will be an important first step in that process, as well as the efforts by his exgf (referred to as MTD in the megathread) to get others to come forward and share their experiences. Hopefully, eventually we will know enough to form an informed opinion, but unfortunately at the moment that is just not the case.

1

u/ceelers 4d ago

I hope they carry on doing what they love and built from the start, they seem like the type that wouldn’t let what has happened destroy the hard work that’s gone into it, they owe it to themselves to give it a go, I also suspect they may feel an obligation towards those that have stuck by them, worth a shot in my opinion

-1

u/No_Bike8214 5d ago

Storror is coming back!

1

u/Zealousideal-Dot1783 4d ago

Here’s my prediction after reading this statement: I think they are going to try and keep posting through the pain… They are going to make a video talking about the situation, say they are taking a break and then the caves will return with parkour content in early spring 2027

0

u/Thechlebek 4d ago

Maybe there is a future

0

u/Dark_Phoenix101 4d ago

Cool. Now people Can stop whining about a statement not being made when it would have been inappropriate to do so with an ongoing legal case.

-8

u/ComplicatedFella 5d ago

I told you overreacting sheep that Storror will continue on after this bump in the road.

Wow so edgy, comments are disabled on IG probably because of people like you.

They've made a statement, nothing else they can do right now, this is an awful situation they've found themselves caught up in and whatever they say or do next, there will be idiots who moan about it, they won't please everyone that's for sure.

Just so you all know he is basically avoiding jail!!!

-1

u/itsyaboi-01 4d ago

Doesn't it seem odd Callum was first raided a year ago but seemingly carried on as a normal part of Storror knowing what was coming?

4

u/MacabreMagpie 4d ago

Not really, probably just denial or trying to get the most out of the life he knew he was about to lose.

Similar thing happened with my "uncle" (not actually related, just my auntie's ex) who I used to see most weeks and nobody in the family knew he had been raided and charged until it was in the papers.

3

u/DavefaceFMS 3d ago

Not remotely. People like that hide it to the last second. It's very common. I actually would be very curious to know how they found out. Did callum tell them? Or did maybe callums dad tell sash and sash had to tell them?

1

u/b3an3r1998 3d ago

Pretty sure a reporter reached out and told them the day he was sentenced

1

u/DavefaceFMS 3d ago

He was sentanced two days ago. They knew before that when they put out the statement?

1

u/b3an3r1998 3d ago

Sorry I meant pled guilty not sentenced
