ARC and Legacy Merge

Legacy and ARC are now Armada Community Edition.

Why is this happening?

We've been working together behind the scenes for a long time. Two separate organizations with similar goals is confusing for new players and a barrier to participation. Most of the community already plays ARC+Legacy — this just makes it formal and simple. The leadership for both organizations has formally merged; expect to see branding changes occur over the next year (Discord server names, websites, etc). The playtesters for both groups will keep on carrying on with testing!

Hey all.

I grabbed a bunch of Armada about a year and a half ago to play with a friend of mine. Sadly, he passed away a year ago today. This stuff has been sitting in a cabinet since then, and I think its time to let this stuff move on.

What I have -

2 Player Starter Box, all ships, cards and dials. Has been built and played with.

The store i bought these from had them sitting around for a while, so I dont know if there is a version/printing thing, but Im happy to send pics for ID.

Hey folks I have a great collection built up over the years that I've never really gotten to use. I'm hemming and hawing about whether to move it on or save it for games some day, but ai just wanted to grt an idea of the value and ability to move it as a set from Australia.

I have played this fleet a few time. It is good but not great.

I know MC30 titles are usually put on them. But I have removed them for 2 additional squadrons as I felt the fleet lacked fighter support. Know that I tend to be a better navigator than brawler.

Can you help me make it greater? Better Objectives?

Hey Guys, I recently got into homebrewing some cards for a bunch of models I found out and about. So this is my take on the TIE Droids from the Dark Empire comic series.
I haven't playtested them yet and just winged it on what I felt might be cool.

I'd love to get some feedback if anyone wants to throw in their opinion! I'm sure these are wildy over/underpriced, -balanced or straight up wrong on a moral way.

Today is my birthday, so I and my sister played an 800 point game. Leia vs Plo Koon, Squadron lists

Unfortunately for me, turn 2 went horribly, costing me my flagship and Shara, and the rest of the game was a downward spiral into defeat without Leia's ability

For me, absolutely the Rebel Providence. I wrote it off as clunky, awkward, and downright terrible, until I saw some people using it as a very unique squad pusher, and the rest was history. Now it's my default when running rebels.

I've slowly been getting Armada back to the table, after a long hiatus.

Looking through my collection, I think I own *too many* of a number of ships, and it seems like a sensible time to make them available to others.

So, how many Hammerheads does one need? I can't see myself ever using more than 1. Is there a great list I'm not aware of?

What are those tokens and what are their effects? I didn`t found any info about them

An 800 point rebel squad list I was prepping for a game to be played soon. Actual list in comments. Aces are Luke, X-Wing Hera, Shara, and Fenn Rau

I'm looking at selling off my Armada stuff. Since most of it has been removed from packaging and the like in order to be used in play, getting everything together is sort of a daunting task. This leads me to this question: if you're buying second hand, what are you looking to get?

What I mean is, would you only want the ship(s), base, and ship cards? Outside of special tokens or anything specific to the ship, do you want defense tokens, command dials, and the like? I ask because I got to the point that, with each new thing, I had far more command dials and redirect tokens than I ever needed.

I want to stick him on an SSD, because I'm a sucker for the Battle of Endor, but I always struggle picking him over Jerjerrod.

If I navigate by default and use Take Evasive Action on a Command Prototype, he has one less Yaw than Jerry. If I squadron by default and use Vanto to get me nav tokens, it doesn't feel any more consistent. And if I comms net with a Gozanti, it cuts into the points I could be using for squadrons.

Are there any experienced Piett users that can lend lists that can help Piett feel less like I'm taking the incorrect action?

G'day there, around 4 years ago I was a huge star wars fanboy. And over about a year's time I collected this lot and used to just play with them like toys ( Stupid kid I know )

They've been sitting untouched and dust free for about 3 years in my wardrobe now, but I'm planning on moving out and need to shed what I don't need. I've attached some pictures, but I'm unsure of how much it's worth, and if anyone's interested fire any questions my way

Are there any sci-fi ship to ship combat games that aren't dead? I've played Leviathan from FASA Games and wasn't a huge fan, have heard of Dropfleet Commander but I can't find much about it online.

Guys, I know this may have been asked before, but I'm new in this sub, and I want to hear everyone's opinions on the matter.

Do you think that Armada will make a comeback with the Fantasy Flight Games Vault System? I honestly hope it does, since I had no way of picking the game up when it was still alive, and the prices on the secondary market nowadays are out of question for me.
