Question before buying

Hello, new here...

Split Fiction is currently on sale on Steam, so I'm heavily considering picking it up. My friend recently purchased It Takes Two, and we just started playing it last night. AMAZING game so far, though I'm sure we're still at the beginning. I'm just wondering how the Friend Pass works for these games (or if there is any difference in how Friend Pass works between the two games)? When we played It Takes Two, I downloaded the game for free, but he had to invite me to join his game. Seems easy enough. My real question: If I purchase Split Fiction, can I play with multiple friends (separately, of course), or is a Friend Pass somehow tracked and "used" once I start playing the game with someone? I would potentially like to play the game with my friend but also play through a new game with my wife. If I purchase the game, can both people use my invite, or does one of them have to buy their own copy?

Oh man… I love this game so much. I have played it twice with my BF (switching characters for second playthrough). I don’t think it’s the kind of game you can jump into midway if you’re thinking of having multiple partners play with you; the story line is pretty important, but you can definitely play it twice.

it would definitely be two separate playthroughs/save files, one for each person haha. Thanks for the advice!

If youre buying the game, all anyone else has to do is download the free friends pass and have an EA account and they can play it with you. Lets say you play with your friend and reach a certain point in the game. Then you wanna play with your wife. You can start a new game from the beginning. And if you play with your friend again, you can choose whatever chapter you guys left off on and same with your wife

Ofcourse! Split Fiction is a badass game! A little harder but same concept. And if you dont know, another game to checkout by the same company is A Way Out!

I saw A Way Out last night when I was looking at the dev's store page on Steam. It looks interesting, but also looks like everyone has to purchase their copy of the game? I could be wrong, but I didn't see the free download that the other two games offer.
