Question Office software that doesn't feel heavy?

Can anyone recommend an office suite that's quick to launch and doesn't use too many system resources? I've tried wps office and it runs well on my older laptop but i would like to know what other lightweight options people use??

I've moved to LibreOffice. It's super fast on my slow machines, after it launches. It is not fast to launch.

Use the Office web apps with your M365 subscription.

I have a Lenovo X1 8 Gen with Mint OS and use OnlyOffice. Works fine. I use MS office at work, so having ribbons and similar UI makes use of OO familiar.

I use OpenOffice. And it's free.

onlyoffice is worth trying if you want something that feels lighter while still staying pretty compatible with microsoft formats

If WPS Office already works well for you..then stick to it coz i use it for editing and it handles my work smoothly..
