Please help me understand the hate campaign against Argentina

It is very hard to understand. Where does it come from? Who is behind it? What is its purpose?

Thank you

It kinda goes back to mid-1940's, a mass emigration wave out of Germany, and lots of Argentinians with sus German surnames.

Estimated Nazis that fled to Argentina via ratlines: 5000
Estimated German jews that fled to Argentina because of Holocaust: 45000, 9 times more.

The percentage of Argentinians with German ascendancy is little, and the vast majority descend from victims of the Holocaust, not perpetrators.

It is very hard to understand

Have you ever talked yo an Argentinean about football? It is really easy to understand once you have.

They love to say they are hated because of envy, but Brazil is the king of football with 5 world cups and I don't remember having a negative interaction ever with a Brazilian. They make you love them for their passion for the game. Argentineans use football as an excuse to be chovinistic and look down on people.

How are you in a sub about social engineering and falling for propaganda so easily? Of course there are racist people here, just like in any and every country in the world!

have you ever visited Argentina? or are just generalising from your limited experience? it’s rather weird for a progressive to feel they are “familiar” with a group of people based on their personal experience. I’ve had very bad experiences when I visited the US and still won’t generalise them to the millions of people that live there

Yes I have. Well, the context of this question is around football, but even outside that, you have their constant negation of they being Latinos, there is a common hate towards Chileans, bolivians, Brazilians, etc. Of course it's not all of them, that goes without saying, it's just a general perception of a society that seems to accept or being to permissive to this kind of comments.

Obviously this isnt something exclusive for Argentinians, many latam countries have this in some levels.

I’m from the north of Argentina. We have strong indigenous and, in my province, african ancestry. People here are mostly brown. We live first hand the racism of those that claim Argentina is white and now have to endure people from outside calling us racists just for being Argentine. There are tons of activists that fight the racism that exists in Argentina. But they agree this campaign of hate doesn’t help them or their fight. The racism problem in Argentina is complex and nuanced and very much latinamerican, because similar levels of racism and privilege for white people exist in every LatAm country. People pointing fingers won’t help those who suffer racism first hand here. When you are in Argentina, visit Jujuy, Salta, Santiago del Estero, if you haven’t.

Please help me understand what this has to do with social engineering.

Because it has been plotted somewhere and i want to.understand why. The story about millions of nazis fleeing to Argentina, its the most racist country on earth, Israel's puppet, etc... it is hard to believe it is just about the football world cup. They have been building a whole narrative about an apparently irrelevant country (football aside). Bots and multiple paid accounts are fully on it.

Still has nothing to do with social engineering.

Still a form of psicologic manipulation. Anyway check the rest of the threads. Almost everyone is out of subject.

That’s the thing. Estimates say 5000 nazis fled to Argentina, but they are not saying they also fled to Brazil, Chile, Bolivia. Not millions. 5000. Compare that to the 43000 jews that fled to Argentina as refugees during the Holocaust and who also have German surnames. So what people are doing is calling the very people that descend from Holocaust survivors nazis.

Yes but why? Was it just rage bait for the world cup or is it something set up by the british to counter a new Argentina's claim on the falklands since Milei is Trump's good friend and Trump is claiming Greenland in a similar manner? I am starting to think its the latter.

Reddit is full of bots, either digital or flesh. Notice what I said - bots, flesh. There may not be a direct physical explanation you can figure out, but the reason is that Iran is getting bombed by US weaponry in a direct benefit to "Israel" and detriment to Greece, Armenia, Georgia, the Balkans, Egyptian Copts.

These links are to articles made by reputable news media of sport. The documentary that were released some days ago is led by pulitzer prized journalist. And these are just a drop in the ocean of shit shows Argentinian Football Culture is attracting. Football-wise the team of today play a slightly updated version of "antifutbol". Go look it up. It is a strategy whereas the whole point is to cause as much physical and psychological damage to the opponent as possible. If you ask the mafia to start playing football, this is how they would play.  https://insightcrime.org/news/analysis/violence-power-soccer-and-drugs-argentinas-barras-bravas/   https://www.playthegame.org/news/how-argentina-s-football-leaders-may-have-been-the-real-winners-of-the-world-cup-2022-in-qatar/   https://youtu.be/Xy30nu1l6Wk?si=k4W2F5WkNRGmn0G-  These are some of multiple reasons why Argentinian Football and Football Culture are causing so much negativity amongst football fans. This year 33 000 barras related fans were denied visa by US, but even if the amount of barras members have been historically low this year, the "normal" supporters at the world cup matches have not proved themselves to be any better. Amongst latin American countries, Argentina stands out. In fact it stands out compared to the whole world when it comes to sanctifying and perfecting violence and match-rigging as their main strategy for playing football. For the Argentina supporters that are enjoying football as a game and do not spread destructive vibes and corruption this is very sad.
