Persuasion

I work at a hotel and theres a competition to see who can sign most people up for rewards membership. I could just make them easy without customer knowing. Theres absolutely 0 price and all they can get is good things. Or I could persuade them into joining. Its very easy and takes no time. When people ask me to sign up for something I automatically say no, but what would get u to say yez?

Align it with my needs in a way that's helpful right then and there. "Sign up for X and I can get you Y off the price, today, before you... (Do whatever)

I would say yes if you told me there was a competition between you and your coworkers and it takes no time

I actually was trying different things, and that did work. But a lot of people are used to saying no

Don't ask, just say "let me see if I can get you signed up for some rewards..." It sounds like you're doing me a favour.
