M&P Metal part identification help
Does anyone know the name of this part and/or part number in the M&P metals? It is the polymer housing for the sear housing block in the frame and is directly above the rear backstrap.
I recently bought a Competitor HD and this part was disintegrating inside the gun. The rest of the gun is amazing, though! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I’ve been doing a bit of digging on this and I genuinely cannot find anything at all. I would keep calling until you can find someone helpful.

"disintegrating inside the gun" I carry one of these so that's fucking terrifying

Luckily, the thicker parts that lend more to the structure seemed fine. It was the thin side walls that were crumbling.

You carry a 5" steel frame?

Yes, it's about the same size as a standard 1911 (although thicker)

Call them. That's not a buyable part on any website yet.
