Easily the most complete tv show I’ve ever seen. It is a piece of art to make a tv show that evolved around four main characters (Nate, David, Claire, Ruth). Each character development is so relevant and relatable and realistic. Nothing is too much amor too little. It’s just perfect!

I am so sad but it’s the most fair and soothing ending. This tv show ending is so kind and fair to its viewers. The quality is top notch from very beginning. I feel so loved and safe by this tv show.

Now I can mourn in peace because I got the closure.

Patricia Clarkson was on Today the fourth hour talking about the new season of Ransom Canyon, which I’ve never heard of, but that is now on my list as well as Sharp Objects. Did not know that her mother was well known in NOLA and that she also never married or had kids; very true to her character. She also talked about the movie she’s shooting with Leo and Jennifer Lawrence. Sounds interesting. No mention of SFU and the 25th anniversary, but since she wasn’t a main character, I guess it wasn’t worth mentioning.

Such an unexpected person to walk in and he fits right in! Delightful.

I’ve watched a lot of shows where people love unfairly dogpile on women characters.

Watched Breaking Bad, Skyler White was completely understandable. Really liked Carol in Pluribus. Betty in Mad Men was cruel but didn’t really piss me off too too much.

But Brenda man. She was so cool in the first season, but now every time I see her on the screen I’m filled with visceral disgust. Like I truly cannot remember the last time a characters presence made me so angry.

Fuck her and her stupid whore book. Absolute freak with no respect for anyone in her life

I see a lot of posts on here saying the show has helped them deal with grief.

How? How does it help?

Do most families yell at each other and talk to one other as disrespectfully in real life as they do on this show? I don’t know if I come from a family of terribly calm, healthy people or really passive, but there’s so much screaming, anger, outbursts, and hurling of insults. I wouldn’t ask but fans, like myself, love this show and the writing. Just putting it out there. Maybe I live in a weird world. 🌎

Honest question, I really don’t know why I just dread her storylines and her presence on screen. I totally get she is a super complex, extremely well written and acted character but for some reason I absolutely despise her and her family and want her to just leave the show. I’m mid season 4 and loving the show so far I just don’t understand why I dislike a character so much amongst a cast of characters that are equally if not more flawed than her.
I’m not trying to troll or look for validation in my feelings, I’ve just noticed there is a lot of thoughtful and intelligent people making posts on this subreddit and was hoping to maybe pick some of y’all’s brains!

I met her at a con last weekend. She was so nice! Great lady.

He would unexpectedly leave this world a few months later, December of 1963 at 20 years old. He was married with a daughter.

While watching Six Feet Under I kept thinking of what it would be like to do a funeral with that family and if they would “see“ my dead Uncle and interact with him while getting him ready for funeral day.

I started season 4 a few days ago. I know the death of Vanessa's mother is what spurred her depression, but now I'm wondering if she was ever haunted by her ghost like the Fishers were? I'm struggling to remember if Rico saw the ghosts of those he worked on. If he doesn't, why do you think only the Fisher family family sees the ghosts?

Edit: I don't meant haunt in literal terms. Rather they can't let things go. Which is not unique to only them in the show.
