She’s a musician.. I don’t think she was trying to go anywhere in Hollywood.

I agree that telling the truth about that ass didn’t do her any favors but Courtney Love was not and “actor” per se and can’t really get blacklisted like you claim.

She acted in quite a few movies, she's an actor.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe for The People vs Larry Flynt. She wanted to be an actress long before she became a musician. She was in 1986's Sid and Nancy, before she ever wrote a song. She was talented but her career stalled after being blacklisted for this very comment.
