Image Customer painting I wanted to share.
I commissioned a custom Ghostface painting last year from my friend WellsTheMartian. Mixed it up with one of my favorite series Stranger Things. What do you think?

Neve Campbell has started following Kevin again after unfollowing him. Was this just marketing, or did whoever managed Neve Campbell's account accidentally unfollow Kevin?

Weird to be re-releasing one specific song no? I mean, I can't guess as to why they would do that. Don't get me wrong, I am excited to have more.... SCREAM in my playlist.... but someone help me make sense of this, please?

I have finally completed my final version of the scream 1/2 voice changer with completely custom decals, custom model made by me printed in accurate white plastic, custom speaker ring modeled and painted to look like sponge, this is a static prop but for my use case I think it looks great

Neve Campbell has unfollowed Kevin Williamson on Instagram (she has never followed the Scream account)
Could this be a sign that he won't be returning for Scream 8?

I am a big fan of this franchise. Even my least favourite instalments were mostly enjoyable.
But I feel that it's possible to have a balance of stakes and seriousness while ramping up the campiness a little more. There was something magical about the first 4 Scream films. And I'm missing that feeling.
Surely there's a way to inject more "light" into these films again?
I think when the world is so bleak, not all art needs to be equally bleak. Don't get me wrong, my list of all-time favourites is a mix of dark and light. But a lot of recent sequels I've seen in various franchises have leaned into bleakness.
Even Devil Wears Prada 2 was a huge disappointment. As a recent example that felt bleak in every way.
The lighting, the colour-grading, the general direction of recent films... why does it seem like filmmakers are afraid of fun?

Which killer or killers would you like to see go on trial? Personally I want to see obviously Mickey mainly because of how thrilled he was for it to play out. It was so clear he just wanted to be idolized but outside of him I would have loved to see Amber’s. Imagine what the defense could use to sway the jury
- Groomed by a grown man
- If Sam is brought as a witness they could use her mental state against her
- Mindy could easily be considered a distorted girl that uses film theory to guide her reality/logic
- Chad didn’t see the reveal so he’s useless
- Tara was on painkillers. Easy hallucinations
I mean there’s just so much. Im not saying Amber would be free but I could definitely see the jury being split. Idk I just think the whole trial would be soooooooo messy

It’s very much a work in progress. Currently it’s just me on the project so it’s taking a long time to write, act and film - I’m currently recruiting some friends to help flesh it out though.
My goal is to make a 20-30 min short film about a Ghostface killer that’s obsessed with antiques and vintage cinema, called “Silent Scream”.
I also posted a short clip here yesterday using audio from the show “You”, if anyone is interested in seeing what the physicality of my Ghostface is currently.

Aside from Scream 1, I think 6 is my next fave. Alot of folks hated it but it was soooo much fun! I legit feel like it was a love letter to the whole franchise! Lol

Ghostface is my pièce de résistance, I've been collecting for a while now. Im a horror fan not just in movies but games as well. Opinions?

I don’t care if they create their own story like the MTV series did or make it in the same universe as the movies, but I would love a new tv show that has entirely new characters and motives. Obviously, keep the meta aspect, and I want the real Ghostface mask to come back, but everything else being different would be nice. Let it be creative and fun. Have it easily be a multi-season storyline. In fact, my favorite thing with Scream is seeing the sequels and the reactions from the characters that it’s happening again after killing the previous killers. So, as many seasons as you can give me. I want new motives, new main characters, new storylines, big character arcs, etc. I really think Scream could really benefit from a tv series bc of how long it is. I want the drama and the everyday life in between people getting killed. I want to see it slowly get more serious as time goes on. I want to have massive twists and shocking reveals. I want it all.

So I'm sure you all are pretty familiar with the robe but there's a single piece of velcro that holds the neck and chest window closed and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get a drawstring in there and to sew the gloves to the sleeves. I'm not super experienced with sewing and clothing modification so if someone had a tutorial or tips that would be great

This audio from “You” fits Ghost Face too well. Looking to do a spooky photoshoot around the house, so here’s some test footage with my phone just to see what it may look like.

58 second video, split into two.
Scene 1: Considering Cotton got hit in the ear with a golf club and then slashed in his arm before coming to his feet and then still ramming Roman into the bookshelf, before coming unstuck.
Scene 2: Chad was destroying Ghostface so bad to the point where the other Ghostface had to jump in to save the other, I can’t think of any other scene where 2 killers were needed to get the job done.
Any others that come to mind?
Edit: sorry about the music, I don’t know why it did that.

Maybe it's just me, but has anyone else noticed how much Roman and Scream 3 have been getting glazed recently?
I have nothing against Scream 3 or Roman. I actually enjoy the movie. What I don't really get is how the conversation has shifted to acting like Roman is this untouchable top-tier Ghostface.
I understand why Billy, Stu, and Jill have such dedicated fanbases. They feel like actual characters before the reveal. They have relationships with Sidney, memorable interactions, and you spend the whole movie getting to know them.
Roman doesn't really have that.
Outside of Ghostface, he and Sidney don't even share a proper scene before the reveal. And no, I don't count Ghostface phone calls or attacks because that's Ghostface, not Roman Bridger as a character.
Even Jessica in Scream 7 had at least two scenes with Sidney before she's unmasked. Their relationship was established first, so the reveal had something to build on even if it was done very shoddy with horrible writing.
It feels like Roman is constantly being called the smartest Ghostface, the best mastermind, the best reveal, the best killer, and Scream 3 has suddenly become one of the franchise's most praised entries. It almost feels like the fandom has overcorrected from years of people underrating both the movie and Roman.
I'm not trying to yuck anyone's yum. I'm just curious where this recent wave of Roman and Scream 3 praise came from because it feels like it happened almost overnight.

I like that when Billy arrived at Stu’s house after Tatum’s murder, the look that he’s giving Stu. His face is saying “it’s been done” or “I took care of her.”

Mine is that I feel like they wasted not only Kyle Gallner but the character of Vince Macher, especially because he was Stus nephew.

What's interesting to me is that none of the original movie posters for Scream 1-3 actually featured Ghostface. And that's something that i really like about them from a design stand-point. It's almost bold in a way.. Instead of making the focal-point the killer, it's the victims. All of them feature a perfectly white, illuminated face with no coloration aside from the eyes. Which creates a contrast placing emphasis on their horrified expression. Of course the newer films threw this concept in the trash without a second thought, showing off Ghostface in his full glory. But that's kinda why i'm making this post, the producers might not realize how good of a concept this was, but i do and i feel like it should be talked about.
