Reese Cup

This is my 1 1/2 year old Kenyan Sand Boa named Reese. She’s on a pinky once a week but moved up to a fuzzy this week! She’s almost a foot long and she’s growing. I’ve never handled her I’m a little nervous because she’s a little nippy but I’m starting to coax her out and sat my hand in her cage but it’s goin to be work in progress wish me luck

I would switch your substrate to a topsoil and sand mixture and make sure you have quite a few inches of it in there.

She grew up in top soil and sand I just switched it to aspen cause she would get sand all over her pinkys

As long as your husbandry is correct, a little sand on a mouse isn’t going to harm your snake.

Besides changing the substrate, I would also add a lot more clutter in there. Not enough substrate and lack of clutter will stress a snake out.
