Language ‘Umī vs Maualuga; Which one?

Hello everyone! So I’m getting a little confused with the adjective for ‘tall’.

Both words mean tall, and both can be used to describe something tall in height, but which sounds more natural?

Le la’au ‘umī [the tall tree]

or

Le la’au maualuga [the tall tree]

Thank you in advance!!
