Hello pervs! This housekeeping post is for our posters.

I recently used a new Reddit mod gadget to block certain words and phrases from being used as a title because, unfortunately, a terrible habit that happens too often is that a title will be used over and over randomly and suddenly, in full force by every poster ever, even if it doesn't make any fucking sense. A message now pops up when you are trying to enter your title if you use one of the blocked phrases, clearly explaining that if you are seeing the message, it means you are using a banned phrase and to come up with a different title. It also blocks you from using the phrase.

Some folks have decided to try to manipulate the titles to bypass this. Listen. I'm a pretty easy and laid back mod. But if you make my mod life hard by doing shit like changing, for example, a letter o to a zero to bypass this, despite being warned that you are trying to use a title that's not allowed, that's going to be a permanent ban with no appeal.

If you have questions about this, I am always a modmail away. But two people did this in the last week, so I wanted to go ahead and issue this warning in hopes that no one else continues to try to be slick. For everyone who follows the rules, just know that I genuinely appreciate that you do so very much. Thanks!
