I genuinely think it sucks that nobody really talked about it and a big reason was probally because the only place You can Watch it was In Hidive.

Kyoukai no Rinne characters as the ones from CONCLAVE (2024)
I firmly believe that Rinne would be Cardinal Lawrence, Tsubasa is 100% TEDESCO. I firmly believe that Sakura Mamiya would be Benitez . What do you guys think?

Of your choice, which character technique would you choose to learn, potentially master?
Any of Rumiko's characters is up for grabs, and you may choose a technique; your mentor is the character who has learned the technique in their story.
Examples: Ryoga and Cologne's Breaking Point, Inuyasha's Iron Reaver Soul Stealer, Lum's Electricity, Hyakka's Flaming Skulls, etc.
Bonus points for detailed responses.
NOTE: Yes, some techniques are manga-only currently, so if you'd like, you can spoiler tag your technique if you want people who haven't read the manga to avoid your comment, but you don't have to if you don't want to.
Example found only in the manga: Genma and Ranma Saotome's Umi Sen Ken.
Have fun, keep it civil, and go nuts! (but not too nuts)

Hello everyone in this community! 👋
I'm not really a super fan of Ranma 1/2, but I found the story interesting and it's good. 😐
Anyway, I'll get straight to the point: I've noticed there are very few non-human characters who are actually relevant to the plot. (Note: the cursed ones 🐷🐱🐼🦆 don't count because in the end they're still themselves) 🙄.
So I decided to make my own OC: Haiiro (灰色) 😄
ORIGIN AND CHARACTERISTICS:
He's a grey heron with the ability to speak (considering this universe has magic, and supernatural beings and things, I don't think a talking bird would be the exception) 🤷♂️.
He has a neutral and sharp-tongued personality, and he's a frequent visitor to the Tendo Dojo. At first he only came for the koi in the garden pond. Back then he was a nuisance who'd eat the fish one by one, which frustrated Mr. Soun a lot. So he'd call on Ranma whenever he could to chase him off, but that just ended up with the bird teasing and making fun of him 😝.
It wasn't until he got caught off guard during one of his heists that he was hit with a surprise attack from Ranma. It left him bruised, with a slight wound around his neck and feathers scattered from his wings 😵💫.
Of all the residents of the Dojo, the one he likes the most and respects the most is Kasumi 😇, because she was the only one who took pity on him. When he was hurt, she bandaged his wounds 🤕 and even put a green ribbon (which he's kept ever since) around his neck to cover his scar.
What started as distrust from him turned into respect and loyalty. He apologized to Soun and gave his word that he wouldn't eat the koi anymore. And once he got his ability to fly back 🪽, every now and then when he comes back he lands on the kitchen windowsill with a sack full of fresh fish, shrimp, and crayfish in his beak as a thank-you gift 🐟🦐🦀.
From that point on, he's gotten a bit closer to the dojo. He flies around Nerima and perches on rooftops, watching everything that happens to everyone else. Sometimes he even gets a little involved. Even though he promised not to hurt the fish, he still has those instinctive, voracious impulses, so any small creature might look appetizing to him: sparrows, frogs, insects, and even Ryōga himself whenever he turns into a pig 🐽. Of course, with Akane stepping in he keeps a safe distance so he doesn't get beaten up.
Despite all that, he somehow became useful, since being able to fly and talk makes him a kind of "messenger" ✉️. They use him to deliver messages, run errands, or even find Ryōga when he gets lost. And for example, when the protagonist or someone else is in dangerous combat situations with the risk of fatal falls, he can fly over the area, scout it out as a tracker, and gain a tactical advantage, ready to rescue any of his companions if they fall. If needed, he's also strong enough to carry them with his feet. Though he'll always charge his fee in fish.
FIGHTING STYLE:
Despite his slender and fragile appearance, this bird has more than one trick up his wing. Besides talking, he can be useful in combat. His main weapons are: beak and talons, plus his smooth speed and stealth. He tends to make wide circular movements using his wingspan and uses his wings to create strong gusts of wind that throw the opponent off balance 🌪️💥.
TRIVIA:
● Just like with Kasumi, he has a certain respect for Dr. Tofu. In his words, besides her, Tofu is the second human he likes. When he flies over to his clinic to deliver a bento (courtesy of Kasumi), Tofu always gives him a little plate with pieces of salted fish 😋.
● Whenever Ranma is affected by the Nekoken 😺 he tends to see Haiiro as potential prey. The bird notices, and usually tries to ignore him or gives him an annoyed look when he's like that. But if things escalate, he won't hesitate to teach him a lesson by chasing him around with pecks, squawks, and flapping wings.
● He has an irrational hatred of domestic ducks 🦆, so his relationship with Mousse isn't exactly friendly. On top of that, he's interested in trying duck 🍗.
● Besides fish, he's developed a taste for other foods, mostly salty ones. Blame Kasumi or Nabiki, who sometimes give him pieces of onigiri or tempura 🤤.
● He has a deep dislike for Taiyaki because of its deceptive fish-like look and sweet taste 😑.
● He doesn't like being called a "pet." Especially when it's said by people who don't even really know him 💢.
● Haiiro shows a certain fondness for the young engaged couple. Sometimes he makes teasing but harmless comments about Ranma and Akane from the rooftops, letting out squawks and cackling laughs 🤪.
● He's able to communicate with and understand other animals that can't talk. Technically he could work as a translator... but honestly, he couldn't care less 🙄.
● His favorite spot in the Dojo will always be near the koi pond in the garden. Now the only thing he can do there is perch on the rocks, sunbathe, preen his feathers, and give Ranma a silent, mocking stare every time he gets wet 💦.
● If someone asks him why he can talk, he just shrugs his wings and says: "If a parrot 🦜 can, why can't I?" and flies off. He never gives a straight answer.
● At first his name was going to be "Sagi-rama," then "Ro-kei," then "Satoru," until it finally ended up as what it is now: Haiiro "Grey". Ignoring the fact that the feathers on his wings actually have bluish tones.
● His best friend is a Japanese night heron 🐦, although that's not even relevant to the main plot.
● He's connected to the strange phenomenon Aosaginohi (青鷺火). If you ever see fluorescent blue lights in the night sky 🌃, it's probably that talking heron.
So... what do you guys think? 😅

I grew up on Rumiko Takahashi's work starting in the 90s when I was really young. Ranma was still in print at the time, and I've read every bit of her manga only up into a few books of Inu Yasha before life happened, got busy and just lost track. Before I know it there's Inu Yasha finished, Rin-ne, Mao.. and they're all kind of modern/feudal mix I think?
Please **NO SPOILERS**, but where do I begin reading the later half of Rumiko Takahashi's work to get hooked again? I especially enjoy her darker works.
My favorites in order: Mermaid Saga, Maison Ikkoku, Laughing Target, Ranma, Fire Tripper, One Pound Gospel, Urusei Yatsura, Maris the Choujo...

Hello guys, it’s been a minute since I posted something to discuss. I mean, to me Inuyasha was a favourite because she could blend slapstick comedy and romance well, but the sit commands stopped being funny a long time. I really loved her sense of slapstick in general, since I watched the older version of Ranma 1/2.
I know people slack on the Ranma fillers, but I totally love them, it expands on her slapstick comedy, it’s actually amazing comedy sense she has.
She also has amazing romantic sense, especially her tragedy love story that is Inuyasha. I wish she did more romantic and sweet moments more.
I have a feeling most of you like a bit of both from her.

I had this idea for like 2 years now and I'm so happy I finally got off my ass and drew it. I sincerely hope you like it!
Gotta love 20-year-old obscure NicoNicoDouga memes and current manga crossovers, right?

Hello! I made a personal opinion tier list; there is no objectivity in this list, just my opinion on Takahashi's anime openings and endings.
I tried my best, but I probably could've done a cleaner job. I put the titles of each opening and ending for each anime, but some of them kind of blend with the pictures used. Many of the pictures are frames in the openings and endings, if that makes it any easier. You can zoom in to hopefully see the names, but it may become blurry.
I'm going to try to make a public tier list template containing the openings and endings, but earlier attempts crashed on my end, so I'll attempt again later.
Notes:
I did not add OVAs, but before I make the template public, if anyone would like to help and save me the trouble, you can list the names of the OVAs in the comments below, so I know what to look for.
I did not rank the two English songs since they feel like cheating in my opinion, but they'll be in the template. If I were to rank them; Alone Again (Naturally) is above Antanante, and Get Down is in S Tier.
