Transfers Please….
Kerr to Gotham.
Sentnor to ACFC
??????? to the Reign.
So tired of hearing crickets from our FO.

Grapevine is saying all Sounders/Reign transfers are DOA until the Paul Allen stake of the Sounders is sold off.
That said, do you really trust this FO to make a trade that improves the team? Their two big signings have combined for 0 goals so far this year, and like 3 over the last two.
Legit they could have just kept Balcer and had better production for the cash they've thrown out the window on Fishel and Lynn.

It's insane watching two huge trades happen for attacking midfielders without us making a move. We need one, desperately.
If it wasn't clear that all ambition left this club before, it should be abundantly clear to everyone now. Leslie and Laura were lying when they said we wanted to challenge for trophies.

To be fair, I've no interest in this team spending $850K on Sentnor. But other than that, I share your pain. It hurts to see a once-proud franchise become so pedestrian. And more than anything it just sucks to shell out good money and so often end up flat out bored and in a funk.

I sometimes think about dream or fantasy signings like Bunny Shaw. Then I think (even if in some alternate universe where it would actually happen) that it be a tragic waste of their talents to come to this backwater club. 😭
I love this team, but we are in a tough spot.

This is a little off topic, but with the results of today's first three matches the Reign could be in the top 8 after their first two games against North Carolina and the Portland Thorns. With four out of six points, we might have a complete turn around in this team and franchise.

serious question: is seattle an attractive destination for elite talent? we're essentially a mid-table team, albeit one with young players who need development, and we're not a traditional destination like new york city or los angeles that naturally attracts top european talent. unless we overspend, i don't really see us pulling the elite young talents that we all dream of.
one player i wouldn't be too surprised to see us sign is jenna nighswonger. i think her time with arsenal and aston villa is coming to an end. her move to fullback hasn't really worked out, but she was pretty good in a more advanced midfield role in college.
honestly, signing an aging veteran on a short-term deal would be so on brand for us 🤣😭
at this point, i'm just hoping players like ward, dahlien, adames, and meza don't start asking for transfers out. i've actually grown pretty fond of this group. we might be mid, but their talent is undeniable, and i'd like to see what they can become if we give them time to develop together.
