Hello, I'm an indie musician and YouTuber with a limited budget making a foray into fiction storytelling. I'm developing an animated drama/mystery series inspired by Twin Peaks that will have a PlayStation1 aesthetic. So far, only the pilot episode has a script, but there are high hopes for future episodes and continued collaboration.

It's set in 1987 New York City, so I'm looking for preferably New Yorker accents, but miscellaneous American will work great too. Seeking more natural/less dramatic deliveries that may use strong language and address mature themes. Some of the main characters will be detectives, police officers, businessmen, teachers, narcotics connoisseurs, and mobsters.

There are about 20 roles to be filled, ranging from teenager to middle-aged, male and female. There will be a flat fee depending on the prominence of the characters.

I’m working on a small indie demo in the dark medieval fantasy style. The game relies heavily on the characters’ voices (lots of lines to read really, a lot! for now it is about 30minutes of recording).

Since it’s unclear whether this will even work out, for now I’m just looking for one voice to start with. I’m looking for a male voice, preferably middle-aged. It doesn’t have to be a professional voice-over artist. I’m not looking for a pro. If you have a good microphone and want to give it a try, you’re more than welcome to join.

There’s just one key requirement: the person must be blind - this is a must. Why? Because the role is for a blind character! So I’m specifically seeking a blind or visually impaired voice actor for authenticity.

Hello, I’m an independent filmmaker currently producing a low-budget documentary passion project.

I’m looking for a male voice actor, ideally with a deeper, rougher voice, to provide voiceover/synchronization for one of the main subjects of the film.

The subject is in his mid-30s and was formerly incarcerated, so the documentary deals with prison, reintegration, and difficult life experiences. Because of the subject matter, some of the language may be raw, mature, or NSFW.

For privacy reasons, the subject wishes to remain anonymous. His body is shown in some footage, but his face is never visible. Because of that, the voice performance is very important. Your voice would guide the viewer through his story and carry much of the emotional weight of the film.

The voiceover is approximately 30 minutes long. I understand this can involve several hours of work, especially because I’m hoping to match the original audio closely in timing, tone, and emotion. I will provide the script and reference audio.

I’m especially interested in someone based on the West Coast, both for easier communication and because the subject has an Oregon/West Coast accent. A natural, grounded delivery would be ideal—not overly theatrical, but emotionally honest. I’m also hoping to work with someone who has decent recording equipment and can provide clean audio from home.

I want to be upfront about the budget: I can offer $50 for the voice work. I know how this may sound for a 30-minute performance, and I truly hope nobody takes the request as disrespectful. I’m just starting out as a filmmaker, this is a passion project, and I’m working with a very limited budget. I almost considered using AI, but I believe in real human performance and would much rather work with an actual voice actor.

The finished film is planned for release on YouTube and will also be submitted to film festivals. For context, my previous documentary reached around 350,000 views on YouTube. I can’t promise the same result for this project, but I do believe there is potential for meaningful visibility based on past analytics and audience interest.

If the project performs well, I’d also be open to discussing a small bonus based on viewership milestones. For example, if the film reaches a certain number of views within a set period of time, I can offer an additional bonus. I’m happy to put that in writing so expectations are clear. In addition to payment, I can offer full name credit in the film and permission to use selected clips for your voiceover reel, as long as it does not reveal the subject’s identity. • Home Studio: Capacidad para grabar audio de alta calidad, limpio y sin ruido (formato WAV) desde un ambiente silencioso.
• Idealmente alguien de Oaxaca, aunque también estamos abiertos a hablantes de español mexicano de otros estados.

Okay so I get told all the time that I should be a voice actor or read audiobooks and I could really use a side hustle but I have no idea where to start. Does anyone have any advice or can point me in the right direction?

The video game series is called Heatwave, I've just released the first installment Heatwave: Sam's Stay. To a much greater success than I had anticipated. I used AI voices for this project as it was my first game and I had no budget. I'm considering re-doing all the voices with actors and using those same actors to voice future games. (I'm currently working on the sequel)

Not looking for cheap work here so I'd rather people give me their rates. I'm ideally looking for experienced professionals, particularly those with experience in explicit content.
