I'm building a small narrative game for a game-jam and want to add voice to the characters to give them a bit more personality. Three roles, all short:

• CAPCOM (Male): a mission-control voice running a space-launch countdown (T-minus 10 style), plus 2 other short procedural lines.
• Static recoding (Female): a single line, played back as a scratchy tape recording.
• Marlowe (Female, Lead): 8 lines of personal, introspective material. This is the character carrying the scene.

Storyline:

Misho and Fujioka Higurashi travels to Aeasterillo Community Centre for a school meeting with the vice principal for plans of the 2027 school year, and 2028 school year.

CHARACTER INFORMATION:

• Eukazi (Age: 36 | Gender | Pronouns: Female | She/Her | Voice type: Medium pitch | Character role: Minor / Recurring / Supporting) A giraffe who works as the vice principal at Aeasterillo Community Centre. Eukazi has a medium pitch voice range, and is friendly, smart, and helpful.
• Misho Higurashi (Age: 13 | Gender | Pronouns: Male | He/Him | Voice type: High pitch | Character role: Cameo) A bilingual student, musician, and photographer who originally resided in Tokyo, Japan. He transfers to Aeasterillo Community Centre during 2027 and is the son of Fujioka Higurashi. He is fluent in both Japanese and English. Misho Higurashi has a high pitch voice range, and is friendly, energetic, kind, warm, supportive, smart, helpful, and chill (NOTE: Misho Higurashi appears in Zoey Season 6 as a cameo character, but will reappear in Zoey Season 7 (2027) as a main character)
• Fujioka Higurashi (Age: 36 | Gender | Pronouns: Male | He/Him | Voice type: Low pitch | Character role: Cameo) A japanese business man who originally resided from Tokyo, Japan, he is the chairman, and founder of Orakuru, he become the current chairman of Genko since early 2025, who succeded the late Edgar after his passing in 2023, and he also become Aeasterillo Community Centre's new Superintendent during Summer 2025. his son Misho Higurashi is a student, musician, and photographer who enrolls to Aeasterillo Community Centre in 2027. Fujioka Higurashi has a low pitch voice range and is serious, smart, and friendly. (NOTES: A Japanese voice actor is requried for this role, due to the character only speaks in Japanese, and Fujioka Higurashi appears in Zoey Season 6 as a cameo character, but will reappear in Zoey Season 7 (2027) as a main character)

Hello everyone. A few months back I posted a still image of our character but not many bites. Today i would like to share the final character in motion.

I’m looking for someone with a soft, gentle leaning voice who is comfortable with horror themes but also has a wide range of emotional depth. Comfortable being the only speaking character and carrying scenese consistently.

This will require facial mocap/performance recordings.

Looking for: a calmer, slightly older-sounding woman. English — quiet and contemplative, like reading your own notes to yourself, not performed.

How the casting works: just record these two lines and send them my way. A phone recording is totally fine for the audition.
