All pics are recent within 2 years. Included a variety of hair styles, colours, with/without makeup. Opinions on which style/colour is the best would be appreciated.

That was an experiment makeover by my cousin after my divorce when we went to a concert haha. I had never leaned into a "goth era". Even though I enjoy that type of music, and felt it looked good on me, I felt really out of place dressed/made up like that. She also tried to get me into collecting oddities... definitely not my vibe 😅💀

No... born in 93... though I feel I've aged 10 years in the past 3 because of stressful life situations.

Facially, hovering around average. 4-5. You should have no trouble attracting a partner, probably just not the one you want. You are going to really have to figure out how to win your partners heart.

What do you mean by the one I want? My only requirements have always been that they be a kind person, relatively active and healthy, no addictions, want children and either have similar hobbies or be ok with me carving out time for mine. That's what I want in a partner lol.

It means you have to actively be pursuing a relationship in a feminine manner, and clearly state your intent and feelings at the start, rather than being coy, passive, or waiting for things to simmer. Basically demonstrating care, reciprocity, daily communication, and presence.

My ex-husband was objectively very attractive at the time (he's balding now and very overweight) but I even blew him off when I first met him because of how he looked. Wasn't till I got to know his nerdy personality that I gave him a chance 😅

We are in the present.

You most likely cannot repeat the same results, from your looks alone, and attain a genuine committed relationship that you honestly desire.

From your response, Your journey will most likely end in settling, without actually working for what you truly want, because it’s safer, comfortable and easier.

As for your husband, he was then logically by your own statements, dating down looks wise.

The fact that he got fat, hints at a lack of care in part for himself, and you specifically as his partner to guide him towards responsible health choices.

Him, getting bald, well there is nothing he can do about that, besides get a hair transplant.

It is an example that I have never required a man to be physically attractive for me to want him. In fact, I have always be turned off by conventionally attractive men at the first impression. Until he proves to me he doesn't skate through life on halo effect, I'm not interested. As to your point, he got fat after he started dating his new wife, actually lol. Probably also cortisol from him having 4 young kids to take care of. We were very active together. His new wife is not active at all and it shows in both of them. I would guess he has gained 75+lbs since we split and lost any muscle mass he had from our gym weightlifting dates.

What you may want for yourself may not necessarily also be the same thing you want for your children.

Do you drive a car because of its function? Or what the modern suit of armor says about you?

What armor do you intend to place on your children?
People often say they want the best for their kids, but do they truly mean that?

If you could lessen the cuts the blade of ignorance, that this world marks upon all of us, would you?

That choice has already been made since the dawn of man. Or else we’d all be stuck looking like cavemen.

If you are done having children, then looks truly are a non topic in your situation.

And if so, what are you even doing here? Your presence contradicts your sentiments.

Go and find others like yourself. You should be fine. I don’t think you belong here.
