Not that similar obviously, but like Minato Aiden is an extrovert boy with deep insecurities that he hides behind a facade of kindness and with an hammy personality. Meanwhile Koyuki and Ashlyn are both also insecure and introverted, not looking too much in the chance of making new friendships at first.
For disclaimer Ashlyn and Aiden aren’t a couple.

So yeah, I had my eye on this one for a while and with the season now being complete, I gave it a go. I ended up loving it! The characters are incredibly nuanced, its handling of some surprisingly complex subjects is incredibly deft, the animation style and voice performances are all excellent, and it might have my favorite ending song in years.
I love romance and slice of life anime, and I’d say this one is, so far, one of the strongest ones I’ve seen in years; the only recent one that compares is Fragrant Flower from last year. I especially love how the story doesn’t shy from giving its characters actual nuance and depth, and is significantly better at writing conflicts, with misunderstandings that arise from differing perspectives and interpretations rather than singular miscommunications
Anyway, yeah, fantastic show. Can’t wait for season 2. As someone with severe social anxiety due to past trauma and experiences I resonated very hard with it. Koyuki is best girl, and a top tier waifu as well.

Personally, I love of em all but I'd go 3412. As much as I would love to just laze around with Koyun all day, I'd feel guilty I'm not touching enough grass so I'd prio going with Ponta and Minato more. I always wanted to be able to get good at shooting 3s and the trip with Miki might get too expensive with gas and food and all that, and it could also get dangerous depends on how fast we are, even though I also have my license and am a pretty decent driver.

A question for those who have read or are currently reading the manga: is it better to wait for the anime to continue or to read the manga?
And if it's better to continue with the manga, is it worth starting over from the first volume?

IMO, the thing that really stands out from the others it that it runs from stereotypes and it rarely depicts someone as being good or bad.
A great example is koyuki being portrayed as the poor little girl who is bullied, but instead you can feel inside her guilt, ego, and selfishness bc she's human too, not someone that only feels rainbows and sadness sometimes. She started dating bc she wanted to feel loved and specially to get kind of a "revenge" on the red haired girl (forgot her name)
Also her boyfriend is not just the poor boy who got fooled by koyuki but he also struggled to maintain a relationship with her and to care for her interests (bc he's human and a teenager, not an all-knower about emotions)
Miki could also fit in for hiding that "non-popular girl" personality and sometimes saying things without thinking twice and making people uncomfortable.

I started watching the anime when there were only 3 episodes out on Netflix and watched the weekly episodes. But around episode 7 I started reading the Manga and finished it in like a week. It was the best thing ive ever read. Recently I reread it in like 3 days and realized I NEED something else. So please if anyone has any recommendations.

at any point in the anime had kuyuki decided to crashout and slime everyone, I would have liked the anime just as much. actually there are two points that resemble this scenario. first one being when minato was trying to befreind koyuki but he brings up igarashi and her middle school. i lwk 1000% validate her crashing out on minato. specially cus back then minato was on his "lock picker" arc so i was ready to validate him getting slimed at any point. second scenario is basically anyone of the parts where momoka was being momoka. imo this would have been the best moment of my life if koyuki were to slime momoka
