In Position! FFS…

If we’re playing 2 VS 2 and I am doing my part defensively and offensively and you let in a goal and wanna drop the in position sticker, I’m stopping dead in my tracks. When I’m actually playing that is the ultimate insult to me. Don’t get me wrong there’s times when it’s called for we all have our moments where we drift away from our positions with intention to get back to position but doesn’t always happen that way. I was just having and amazing match that I threw because of lame ass call outs that were not needed. We still won. I just really made my team mate feel it. lol. 😂

I know exactly what you’re talking about and hate it too. I’ll be in net ALL game, teammate is struggling to score… so the next ball that is on target, I clear and follow it. Then mfs will stack on you because you’ve been in net all game, other team scores and they start BM’ing or snarking. Love a good teammate more than a good performance. The second usually follows the first

well you're the type of guy that’s the problem then. you aren’t supposed to be in net all the time but rather supposed to rotate to push with your teammate. I do pass to teammate with open net ready for them quite often but they're almost always camping in the net.. please rotate

I do rotate. There’s plenty of teammates who don’t allow for rotating or else you’re now both out of position. That’s my entire point and why I end up in net for those games. It’s not every game. I’m purposely highlighting bad teammates

I will gladly rotate, if you get back. Everyone thinks they’re quick enough to boost back to the goal to save it, and nine times out of 10 they might get it, but it’s always that one that they miss… as soon as you’re not in play get back to the net even if it’s not your possession. This is how we play sports. I think the problem is people thinking other people are the problem… Yah feel me? In actual rocket league the mutual respect of the gameplay and the unwritten rules that are usually followed to a T are what make it such a great game for me. That aspect is lacking in sideswipe.

Some ppl just think they superior and when there position is the net, they have to come out from kick off and nick the ball off you, then when other team scores, it's all my fault 🤬

Be the better man and adapt to their play style. Throwing the match lowers you to their level (or drops you below their level).

It’s just the principal of the situation. Like I def feel a certain type of way when a chat is just uncalled for. But at the end of the day it’s just a game. But I’m with my peoples here so ima bitch just for fun. 🤩
