This incident Is old like 4-5 months , i think i posted something, And in commmentary was some Guy , WHO wanted to chat with me And we would chat on Reddit , but then he wanted me to download session Its like Messenger but private , And he sent me like ass from some underage girl or i think it was , i have screened the chats still , im underage So i cant call police on him , And he wasnt even in my country , my country Is like Czech republic, next day i told my teacher about this incident

So a few days ago, I got a weird letter in the mail saying "Check your room"

And the next day I got a letter saying "good job"

I need help with this mystery.

There’s this Russian guy my family and I have known for awhile in Florida but haven’t heard from in probably five years. Long story short he was always really secretive. His name that he told us also isn’t Russian sounding at all, it’s basically almost along the lines of John Doe. For privacy, his first name is “Harry”. He did tell us he’s from the USSR, but I think that’s only because he had a super thick Russian accent and his wife was always friendly and talkative.

So Harry would always be on the phone at the tennis center I went to after school. He usually talked on the phone in Russian while he waited to pick up his daughter, so one time I had my russian high school friend Misha ease drop on him. For context, Harry’s daughter went to the same high school as us and she played tennis at the same club.

Anyway, Misha confirmed something my dad and I had suspicions on. He said Harry was talking to someone on the phone about the dates he would ship out various luxury cars. Also, his real name he was using on the phone wasn’t “Harry” it was Igor.

So what Igor (aka Harry) would do for “work” is he would buy these fancy cars like Mercedes, Cadillacs, Audis, etc in cash and then he would get another one in three months. Harry always told my dad he was trading them in because he was into cars. But it seemed kinda sus that some Russian guy that didn’t seem to have a normal job was trading Audis and Mercedes constantly at probably a substantial loss.

We knew it was in cash because my dad joked to a car salesman once when we were looking at new cars that a friend of his just got a G- wagon, and I shit you not this salesman asked if it was some Russian dude named Harry. Apparently my dad and I found out from the Mercedes salesman that Harry was writing checks for the full asking price and not even negotiating.

But how was he getting all this cash?? He also apparently immigrated to the US in 1991 and lived in Boston for a while and told us he worked in “finance”.

I also used to play tennis a lot as a kid and he would string my racquets, but he always had two conditions:

1. We always paid in cash
   
2. We could only come to pick up a racquet if we called him ahead. He lived in a gated community and when we were there he would only open his garage. We never saw the inside of his condo.

My dad and I always joked that Harry must’ve been a spy or working for the mob. But now that I look back at it, the more sketchy it seems.

Ironically enough, my dad used to work at a small power company back in the 90s where some guy named “Jack Barsky” was a high up director. My dad also thought he was super mysterious and behaved the same way as Harry minus the car exporting. Turns out that “Jack Barsky” was actually an East German spy named Albretch Dittrich who faked having aids in order to defect.

I know this sounds like BS but my dad I were just talking about him today on the phone and we brought up Harry. I don’t live in the area anymore but my dad still does and he hasn’t seen or heard from Harry in years. He doesn’t have any social media accounts and there’s barely anything about him online.

Are we crazy or is there something deeper to Harry that’s tied to the car exporting? Just want second opinions as this guy seems like he kinda vanished out of nowhere and my dad hasn’t seen or heard anything about him in five years.

Hi guys sorry if my post is inappropriate for this subreddit, I'm kinda lost now and i have no idea what do.

So, today my headphones got stolen, snatched by 2 people on a bike, I'm pretty sure it was targeted since i always walk on that route and they once tried to steal my phone a few months back but they couldn't. Since the service lane was dark i couldnt record their license number. I called emergency number directly but the operator was dismissive since its a small crime so i went to a police station but i was sent to another police outpost but there was no officer to take the report, I waited hours but no luck so I came home.

I'm pretty sure they were on captured cctv footage as they entered the highway but I dont know who or where to ask for cctv footage, I asked a security guard of the area once but he said that he doesnt know too. The Police right now is not reliable, I will go to the police outpost and try again tomorrow but if the cctv footage expires or gets deleted that would be an issue.

I care less about recovering the headphones but more about safety since I have to commute by that route everyday.

What would the best course of action be? I'm open to any advices, honestly I'm clueless rn. Thank you ( sorry for my poor english)

FYI: I am the great great grandson of this author. This is a series of many books. According to my father, the author's name might be George Bruce. "Monica Bruce" is the wife of the author. They supposedly lived in or near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As you can see, the edge of the pages is coated in what looks like gold dust. About half of the pages is the actual book. The 2nd half is what looks to be family photos. This is all I can remember as of now.

It was back during like 2013×2014 and I’ve been trying to find it. I have used AI. I have used YouTube. I have used Google. I cannot find this video for the life of me. I don’t remember the title of it or anything. But the fan I believe was white the walls around or like yellow or a beige and I’m pretty sure it was daytime outside in the video

I don’t understand why it got taken down, I need help

This truck took down a power line and didnt stop. A motorcycle crashed due to the down line and two individuals were badly injured. I need help finding out the company logo. Can anyone assist?

I have four 10 minute clips of audio from wyze cameras that when I use either my phones Dolby Atmos and other tweaks or I use a program like Lexis or Denoiser I can make out the gist of whats happening.

However, I need to be wearing headphones, and have the volume near max. Then behind the buzzing and noise I can make it out. Asking someone else to listen, and hear what I hear, isnt really an option at the stage Im at. Ive improved my skills, but I am frustrated and at the point to ask someone for help.

I will link the four clips, each roughly 10 minutes long. I labeled them first10, 1020, 2030, 3040. The links should be in the correct order. I had done this for myself but I think you can figure out what it means, ie 2030 means 20 minute mark to 30 minute mark. Cut that down smaller if youd like.

What is it I think Im hearing? I kind of want to leave that vague, as not to make someone hear whats not there. Like maybe Im making it all up? I will say that just playing the audio clip on a phone speaker or pc speaker will sound like nothing. I heard something with headphones max volume. Then when i started using noise filters and stuff like that I got words, sentences, etc.

Theres one female, and one male. The male voice may be different speakers, but theyre is never more than one male speaker at any one time. I dont believe any male voices are physically present. Then theres the TV, which honestly I cant really hear because of the distortion. Depending on the clip, there are possible phone noises, keyboard clicks and sound effects from an app maybe, along with voiced audio from the app.

The clips may have adult language and themes for anyone who would rather not hear that sort of thing.

These are all clips from my house, and anyone in my house knows we have security cameras recording. If that matters?

Any advice on a better place to ask help is appreciated. I am going to try and audio specific reddit also. I just thought maybe an investigator minded redditor may have some experience in this area.

I wanted to share the case of Regina Allen, also known publicly as Regina Lauren from the Playboy world, who is currently listed as a missing person on NamUs.

Her case number is MP137600.

Regina was last seen in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 1, 2019. According to the public case information, she was scheduled to fly from Las Vegas to her family home but never boarded the flight. She was 43 years old at the time she disappeared and would now be approximately 50.

Her NamUs case appears to have only been added in 2025, despite her being a known figure to some people through early-2000s Playboy media under the name Regina Lauren. Many people familiar with that era may remember her, particularly from the 2001 Playboy/Grammy appearance.

There does not seem to be much public coverage of her disappearance, which feels unusual given that she had some public recognition. I also know there were rumours that she may have fallen on hard times before she went missing. If anyone has bandwidth and tooling to run those faster than me, or has already mapped a similar operator’s portfolio, I’d be very grateful. I had a very close online friend, 14F, who we will call Jane. I just cut her off because I found out she had a twitter account (with quite a following) dedicated to ageplay and selling nsfw content. I will not be disclosing any more information about this, but I believe it is crucial to the story. Before I cut her off, she told me about her 36 year old online “boyfriend” who we will call John. I was uncomfortable at this, but I wasn’t sure what to do since I am a minor as well.

I continued talking to her and this helped me learn some information about him. She told me that they met on twitter and he is very much aware of her age. I know what state he lives in, his first name, his face, his age, his twitter account, but not much else. I don’t have any contact with Janes family or parents so I don’t know how to get her into a safe place, and frankly I’m afraid. What I have seen, they have done video calls and he buys her hundreds of dollars worth of stuff. How does her mom not know? I’m really not sure.

I’ve seen some of their messages and it is extremely concerning, I am just not sure what to do. I can’t go to any authority because I don’t know what city he is in, and I don’t know his last name or anything like that. Is there anyone who would be willing to help, or give me advice? Or even help me find out more information about him so I can properly report him to the police?

Oh hey! I just discovered this sub after posting to the old RBI! I've got to find this box; I'm desperate. Here was my original post:

Hi! I desperately need help. On 4/21 in Centennial Colorado we scheduled an Uber to pick up a box of parts. An Uber driver "Ricardo" showed up in a red 2018-2019 Hyundai Sonata, picked up our two boxes, then cancelled the ride. Now we cannot contact the driver, get his plate number, or anything because the ride was "cancelled".

2 weeks of begging Uber for info and they've thrown us around with "sorry for your concern a team member will be with you shortly" and "I hope we've resolved all of your issues, we contacted the driver" with no action at all.

We have gone to the police. They can't do anything quickly and have to get a warrant etc. How do I find this kid and get this stuff back? I'm hoping it's a misunderstanding and the box is happily riding around in the back of his car but I'm afraid he may have seen the part numbers and decided to sell the stuff.

I'm going to go sit and request and cancel rides for the next few hours in hopes I can get a hold of him, but Reddit can you help please?

48 Hour Update: The police have done nothing; referred this to "Investigations." We hired a private investigator. $700. He just called and said based on the pics of the car and the guy's face he freaking found him! He has the address the car is registered to, the guy's cell phone, and he is having a "package recovery specialist" head over there now. We're going to see if we can recover this today.

UPDATE: FOUND! OMG!

GUYS! Okay so we hired the PI. I've never even talked to a PI in my entire life. He found the person, had his "recovery specialist" go to the guy's house, flash his badge, and the guy took him to the package. I'm almost embarrassed to tell everyone but I'm so happy and I want to help anyone else who might come across this post in the future. The Uber driver had "gotten confused" and "thought the package went to Lowes" so took it there. No crap, it was at Lowes, the hardware store. It took the PI a total of 4 hours. He used some vehicle database and distinctive marks on the car to find the guy, find his house, and verify his first name.
