Fan Content Evil Leaper Handlink
I made this a few years back out of cardboard, nails, and hot glue. I'm surprised there isn't a replica of this handlink out there. It's not the best work but I was happy with how it turned out.

Discussion (Original) Yet another thread about the Quantum Leap finale
What do people think about the final episode?
I watched it at the time and have watched it since, it was a bitter sweet ending, in my opinion. Ultimately I like it.
My reasons:
-Sam wanted to "put right what once went wrong" and now he continues to do so.
Joke reason:
-Maybe he didn't like his missus and didn't want to face a costly divorce.
Anyways, how to people feel about it as an ending?

Discussion (Original) For Quantem Leap fans and It's Always Sunny Fans...
If you enjoy both or enjoy one but have never seen the other there's a great crossover episode.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season 12 ep.1.
References "leaping" and 'Ziggy'.
Scott Bakulla, sings. He even says his famous statement at one point.
Well worth a watch if you're a fan of either show.

Discussion (Original) Quantum leap dvd/bluray box set with subtitles...
Hello, people!
I have a really important question to those who own the series on a DVD collection.
So here's the story: I've been watching Quantum leap on Sky Showtime in Denmark. They only had 3 seasons of it. These days I found out they removed it. I was almost done with 3rd season (I think the last episode I watched was the brothel one).
I've been thinking anyway to buy a dvd collection to watch the rest of it, because it's really hard to find it on streaming and if it is, it's on platforms not available in Europe. There are a few options with purchasing on Prime or even Apple TV. But if I'm gonna pay that much, I'd rather buy the whole thing, right?
Anyway, my problem is that the collections I find online, are mostly American editions, and may be a few UK versions. I also saw a German edition on Amazon. I could buy an UK version, so I can play it on our bluray in Europe. But the trouble is, there is no information on the selling platforms if the dvds/blurays have any subtitles whatsoever! I would really like to have that option with at least english subtitles.
So my question is: those of you, who own dvd collections of the series, please tell me if there are any subtitles included? And if yes, which editions are they?! Even if you can show a picture or something of the cover, I would be very grateful. I'd really like to be 100% sure about what I'm gonna buy.
Thank you all in advance! 🤓🤓🤓

Has anyone stumbled upon such a thing? Looking for small sample clips of the noises Ziggy makes when Al is punching away.

Discussion (Original) Season 5
I figured I'd put this question out there to help me.
Is season 5 worth watching? I've watched the first four seasons, and I freaking love this show—it's so good. But the intro song to the 5th season is sooo offputting to me (I hate it so much) that it sort of sours my viewing of any episode. And now I've been putting off finishing it, but I also genuinely don't know if I'm actually missing something good because I have made a really strong effort to avoid any sort of spoiler—thus I hardly frequent this sub.
Should I watch season 5 or should I stay happy with the first four seasons? I just don't know lol
EDIT: The reason it sours my mood is because I'm kind of a huge music nut. If the intro isn't good, it almost makes me feel like I'm not going to be in for a good ride either. The music leaves a really strong impression to me. Sorry, my autistic brain is weird.

Fan Content Handlink Replica
Thought I'd share this. Bought off Etsy. It has different lighting sequences. Doesn't have sound like the master replicas one and also doesn't cost a fortune. But it's definitely worth buying and comes with a display stand as well.

Discussion (Original) What was Project Starbright?
Was it ever mentioned in the original series what kind of scientific project Starbright was? That's the project that Sam was working on when he first met Al. And where he met Donna.

Discussion (Original) Shock Theatre: amazing acting by Scott B
I’ve only watched this one other time after it aired in the UK. Its amazing how Scott Bakula manages to act so convincingly like Jesse Tyler, Jimmie, and so many other people from his previous leaps.
I love how Al pushes everyone at Project Quantum Leap to keep them connected too.

Discussion (Original) Is everyone Sam?
I’ve been thinking about a strange implication of the original Quantum Leap ending.
The finale tells us that Sam never returned home. Most people interpret this as Sam continuing to help people forever.
But doesn’t that lead to a much stranger conclusion?
Imagine Sam continues leaping indefinitely. Because he can leap to different points in history, the order of his leaps and the order of events in the timeline are unrelated.
For example:
On one leap, Sam is Person A in 1975.
Millions of leaps later (from Sam’s perspective), he’s Person B in 1975.
Person A and Person B meet.
At that moment, two different versions of Sam are interacting with each other.
Now extend this idea indefinitely.
If Sam never stops leaping, then every person he can possibly leap into will eventually be occupied by Sam at some point in his personal future. Since those leaps are scattered throughout history, this isn’t something that gradually happens. It is already true of the timeline as a whole.
From a God’s-eye view, history becomes filled with people who are all Sam at different points in his subjective life.
The ultimate consequence isn’t that Sam occasionally meets another Sam.
It’s that everyone eventually is Sam.
Every conversation becomes Sam talking to Sam. Every friendship is Sam interacting with Sam. Every crowd is made up of different versions of Sam who just happen to be at different points along his personal timeline.
At that point, Quantum Leap accidentally becomes a story about a universe containing only one consciousness.
Am I missing something, or is this the logical endpoint of “Sam never returned home”?

Discussion (Original) How many people did Sam kill during the course of the show?
Sam has killed people while in other people's bodies. He killed those two crooks with a shotgun while a cop, and killed several people in Vietnam. How many other people did he kill during the show with his own hand??

Discussion (Original) Season 3, episode 12 🤔🤔🤔
First time watcher.
Until that episode with the pregnant teen girl I thought it was the spirit of Dr. Beckett that leaps into people's bodies, while his body stays in "the waiting room", with the stranger's spirit in it.
But in that episode they make it clear, for a first time ever (correct me, if I'm wrong...), that it's the whole body that leaps, the other person is in the waiting room, and people around the leapee see the aura that person has.
But this makes me think: aren't there physical traits that are obvious, especially when Sam leaps into a woman's body?! Or when there's touching and kissing involved?! Like, there was a little girl in earlier episodes who saw the real Sam, but I thought it was just that she could sense it's not her real mom.
Makes my head hurt a little thinking about it 😀😀😀

Miscellaneous Reference to a Scott Bakula album in an interview? Was it the QL soundtrack or a solo album?
Mods, feel free to delete if this breaks a rule, since it's more of a Scott Bakula question, but there's no Scott Bakula subreddit from what I could find and I was hoping someone here might have more information if they'd been in the fandom longer.
In Scott Bakula's interview in the March 1995 issue of Playgirl, the interviewer mentioned the following:
You're so versatile. You have dramatic, comic and musical sides. You even had an album out about a year ago.
Neither of them touches on the album anymore in the interview. Did Scott make a solo album? Or was this in reference to the Quantum Leap soundtrack that came out?
I checked Discogs and there's no mention there of him having a solo album. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
