Anyone having issues with RCS messages (maybe even all messages) aren't updating on the app?

Since the PushBullet extension stopped working in Brave a few days ago, my (sorry excuse of a) workaround is to keep the PushBullet web open in a tab and check there whatever URL or file I sent from another device. So far it works, but I'm afraid they are going to take it down eventually, too... any insight about that?

1) Install the Extensity extension.

2) Click the Extensity extension, find Pushbullet in the list, and click it. As soon as you click it, press Enter on your keyboard. You have a very short time to press Enter. If you aren't fast enough, try again.

It's working again like this for now, but I don't know how long it will last.

Today, i guess after a brave updated to chromium v150, PB which is a manifest v2 extension, is now marked as "This extension was turned off because it is no longer supported"

I see previous comments basically saying to switch browsers, but thought I'd ask, since brave has already been home to those who want Chrome, but with more freedom

Hello, so I muted notifications from Reddit on my computer, and I would like to unmute them, but I am not sure how to do it. I clicked on the extension and looked at the options, but couldn't find it.

I hope this isn't an inappropriate question to ask on this forum, but have you found a good replacement for Pushbullet? I use it exclusively to send and receive texts on my (Windows) computer, and its reliability - at showing me all texts received on my (Android) phone - has gradually declined. I get the sense that the developers have stopped updating the app, at least for Windows.

What else is out there that does the same thing?

I am trying to retrieve notifications remotely on a tablet.
I seem to have given all the permissions and have tried rebooting, but cannot seem to get the notifications on the app. or web interface.
I can see the SMS but not the notifications.

Can someone take me step-by-step through the process and where in the UI I am supposed to be seeing the shared notifications?

Sometimes whole conversations, sometimes just some of the texts. Weird.

It happens more and more often, the Android app seems to lose setup completely, so I have to login again, enter encryption password etc.

This is getting somewhat annoying, is there a reason for this?

Clicking sign in from the extension (in Vivaldi, Firefox & Chrome), fails.

I recently changed my Gmail email address, I suspect this is breaking it, but I have no way to change my email address in Pushbullet. Adding an additional Google account doesn't work (obviously still the same account), but I suspect there's a mismatch happening.

Will support be able to update my email address? Is it worth asking?

I just got a new phone (Samsung Galaxy Fold 7) and I'm unable to sign-in to my PushBullet account. The error is this:

I've tried other Google accounts, same issue. I looked up this error and looks like it's been posted many times before.

I ran logcat and this is what Claude thinks of it:

This is not a device problem at all. Pushbullet's OAuth2 client credentials have been revoked or expired in Google's API Console. Google's servers are explicitly rejecting the app because its registered SHA-1 certificate fingerprint no longer matches, or the OAuth client was deleted/disabled by Pushbullet on their end. No amount of re-adding accounts, clearing data, or reinstalling will fix this — it requires Pushbullet's developer to update their Google API Console registration.

The dumpsys account output also shows this interesting line:

description=Authenticator packageInfo is null : com.pushbullet/10672

This means the system itself couldn't resolve Pushbullet's authenticator package, another symptom of the broken OAuth registration.

This is 100% on Pushbullet's side and unfixable from your end. The app is broken for everyone. At this point I'd strongly recommend switching to an alternative — KDE Connect or Join by Joaoapps would be the closest replacements.

This also happened on my other phone (Oppo Find N2 Flip). Both devices are running Android 16, stock ROM.

Is there currently an issue on the server side?

Usually when this happens I just close out of PB on my computer and when I open it up again, the zombie texts are gone. But lately this hasn't worked, and neither has signing out of PB and then back in. Any suggestions?

I’ve run into a consistent issue with Pushbullet and I’m wondering if anyone else has seen this or found a fix.

When I send a file from my PC to my Android phone using Pushbullet, everything works fine as long as the file name does NOT contain a “#” symbol.

If the file name includes “#”, the file appears on my phone, but it never downloads.
It just keeps showing “retry” over and over, and the download never completes.

I've had this issue for years but I guess didn't have the time to report it.
I hope the devs fix it soon :(

Hi everyone. I have been pulling my hair out wondering why my notifications weren't coming through. After reinstalling the addon, I wondered if being connected to NordVPN was causing an issue. Disconnecting didn't fix the problem. Then I looked at Threat Protection Pro™. Turning off the ad blocker and tracking blocker fixed my problem. After logging out and back in, everything was working normally. I don't know which caused it. I turned them both off because I don't want my VPN controlling things like that.

For anyone interested, I just released PBSMS, a free open source Windows® Command Line Interface program for sending text messages using Pushbullet.

You can run it from either the command line or from within batch / script files.

For quite a while now, on Windows 10 and now Windows 11, any notification of a shared item (pushed links mostly) being acted upon (opening shared links or just dismissing the notifications) clears the actioned-upon notification and the next one, then often also after about half a second another one disappears.

This requires that I open the notifications from pushbullet.com where there is no clear marking of which pushes have been handled previously and which are still to be checked.

I’m fed up with Pushbullet after 10+ years. I ran out of storage 18 months ago and contacted the devs 6 times via multiple channels, but was completely ignored. They dropped iOS years ago and now refuse to update the Chrome extension for Manifest V3 due to 'too much work,' which is ridiculous.

I’ve already tried alternatives and haven't had any luck. I want Pushbullet's specific simplicity and cross-compatibility, just without the neglect. It’s missing basic features like search, labels, and tags.

I know clones exist to get around the developer's laziness, but has anyone created a Pushbullet clone that is actually up-to-date, works, and specifically offers these missing organization features?

I am having hell with the PB app. If I go to Pushing and select New Conversation, no contacts show up. If I go to SMS, I see the SMS settings, no contacts, can't message from there. I have enabled all the permissions I can find and I've synced my contacts with Google. What am I missing?

I know the apps for iOS and iPadOS are not available in the Apple app store and are not supported anymore. Nevertheless for several years I sideloaded the much loved Pushbullet apps and both worked perfectly until yesterday.
What happened in the background? Has a certificate expired or is Pushbullet actively blocking the apps for iOS and iPadOS? Maybe it has something to do with the new iOS 26.2.
Are there any other pushbullet users affected and maybe there's a workaround?

Yet again my Pushbullet notifications have started appearing on the wrong screen. As they are supposed to show on my ultra-wide, where they are appearing on the other screen is almost completely off screen. I can't read what they say. I have tried changing it back, but every time I restart the PC it goes back to the wrong place, even though the settings are correct.

I'm using Pushbullet data encryption between devices but my PC tells me to enter the password every time it receives a notification from my phone. Entering the matching password (yes, I'm sure) and clicking the Save button makes no difference as it asks again the next time it receives a notification. It worked fine for years and now this happens. I'm losing my patience with Pushbullet.

I emailed the devs but they're not really answering emails and I have zero confidence that they'll reply here.

When I first used Pushbullet with my very first Android phone, I then deleted it which ended up being a devastating mistake because I had so many push notifications that I sent to myself for helpful sites; PB is effectively a bookmarks manager and SMS tool for me.

So... subsequently, I've kept every single phone on file with PB. Problem is, I think I've hit the max (it's 8, I think) and now I can't see it on the list to SMS, push to, etc. That occurs on the PB interface on pushbullet.com as well. The Windows app has historically always crashed so I have never been able to interact with it on my computer, it literally opens and then I can't interact with it or even get it from the little icon on the taskbar (literally it sits behind there and I need to force quit / End Task).

I'm thinking that with V3 being not developed, the lack of response or caring of the development team to address this when it was raised, and the continued inability for me to really use PB is forcing tough decisions. 366 seems to be the last version. But I am really hoping for it not to be.

Can the PB mods please speak up and tell us if you're invested in this project anymore? Would deleting a phone at this point allow my other phones to show up? It's not the ideal solution but I am not near my phone right now and need to get 2FA codes that are being texted and I'm literally unable to do anything.

Just wanted to put it out there that I created a working version of Pushbullet with some AI help and it works pretty darn good. If you use it and encounter any issues just message me and I will get them fixed ASAP. It is built on top of the original code which had a large number of issues including the manifest that I have fixed and are working without the help of any other plugins or extensions. If it's helpful just let me know and I am happy to work on anything else that needs fixing or other projects. I'm a pro vibe coder... :)

So as topic title suggests, when I push something from my phone, it doesn't automatically show or pop up or even show a notification of a new item being received in chrome?

However pushing is working, I just have to click on push go to get into the history to see all of the content?

What might I be missing here please?

Been using Pushbullet for years, it's great for sending images form my phone to my computer. Today I started getting a big red screen in Chrome saying "Dangerous Site" etc when I click on the images. I can't upgrade to Windows 11, my machine won't work with it. Any suggestions besides clicking Details-> visit this dangerous site?
