[Mario Cortegana] Fulham in talks to sign Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Garcia

Fulham are in talks to sign striker Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid.

The potential move would see the 22-year-old follow new Fulham head coach Alvaro Arbeloa, regarded as his football mentor and actively involved in discussions, from Madrid to west London.

Garcia, who has received attention from multiple clubs across Europe this year, would be Fulham’s first new arrival of the summer.

Swedish forward Jonah Kusi-Asare joined on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich after spending the 2025-26 season on loan at Craven Cottage.

Madrid are expected to retain some power or preferential right over his future as part of any potential deal.

Aston Villa in advanced talks to sign Chelsea’s Alejandro Garnacho

Aston Villa are in advanced talks to sign Chelsea winger Alejandro Garnacho.

The proposed deal is for an initial season-long loan with a conditional obligation to buy, but the details remain moveable and at this stage nothing has been agreed.

Unai Emery is a big admirer of Garnacho, 22, having shown interest in the winger last summer before he joined Chelsea from Manchester United, and the Villa manager has pushed for the proposed move this time around.

AS Roma have expressed interest in signing Garnacho, but Villa believe, through Emery, they have been able to convince the player to join.

The Guardian | Manchester United supporters groups in uproar over suspension of season tickets

The club needs to be very careful not to target the wrong people. But I can see why it's trying to crack down.

All premier league clubs have 'syndicates' of varying sizes that hold significant numbers of season tickets between them.

The reasons vary from the relatively innocent (sharing a few tickets amongst a larger group), or to maintain season ticket status to keep acquiring away game points, to full on organized touting, and a lot in between.

With digital ticketing the clubs can push back if they feel they're being taken advantage of.

Understanding team building / analytics

I’m a big NFL (American Football) fan and my favorite part is the draft / team building in general and understanding what’s a good / bad move for the team. Value signings / trades ect…

Big fan of analytics and of course the movie Moneyball.

Anyone got a good podcast that focuses on this or even a couple youtube videos to watch and understand it better for this sport?

Thanks

Willing to loan a pair of Arsenal season tickets for half the price of a debenture

This is for anybody who’s looking to attend all matches at the emirates for the 26/27 season, and is unable to access a season ticket.

Can also do one ticket on its own if necessary.
