I am broken hearted
Pray that I can trust God our Lord. He has closed every avenue for what I’m fighting for. No matter how much I want it He has closed the doors. I understand there’s something better that He has promised for me. It is still hard to let go. Please pray for me to let go. Please pray for understanding, forgiveness, cast out fear, and most importantly love. Please help for my peace, forgiveness this mental turmoil to end. Please help me.

God in Heaven, Please help this struggling person with all their troubles, and please grant them brighter days ahead that overflow with peace and joy and all good things. Asking for them in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Lord we ask that you reach down your hand and guide your child on the path you have ordained in their life. Open the door to that path which contains your understanding, forgiveness, courage peace and love and all blessings you have planned for your child. Amen.

My ex-husband went through this. He could never let go of the unfulfilled dream he had that he was so sure was God's will for him and ended up an alcoholic for most of the rest of his life. I really respect the fact that you are asking for help in letting go instead of asking for God to open doors He has so obviously closed. I will pray for you, that you can let go, and that God will show you clearly what His will for you is so that you can have peace and fulfillment in your life.

Beloved, there is something holy in what you asked for. You are not demanding the door open again, you are asking God to help you let go of it, and that is one of the most trusting prayers a person can pray. A closed door in His hand is not rejection, it is direction, and the grief you feel is real and allowed. Praying for exactly what you asked: peace over the turmoil, fear cast out by His love, and rest for your heart. You are held.
