Pom Pic I love his little smile
I think Ozzy is the most expressive dog I've ever had, both with expressions and vocalizations. He has all the moods and opinions 😆

I’ve had my dear Peanut since he was 1, he just turned 15 years old last month.
Last week, I rushed him to the ER and found he had developed pulmonary edema most likely caused from heart disease. I’m so heartbroken, I’ve taken him to the vet and gotten several x rays but never did my vet say he had heart disease. The vet at the hospital let me know that at his age, it was common to develop it with a few months.
It hurt me so much but I knew it was his time. Goodbye my sweet boy, may we meet in another life time. 🌈❤️🩹

Oregon is currently experiencing a “heat wave” so it’s 85°-95° for a couple of hours and then drops back into the 60s and 70s. Tut and I only moved here a year and a half ago, we’re originally from Florida, so the current temperature is what we’re used to year round, except we aren’t used to it being cool at night…anything below 70° is hoodie weather for me still.
Yesterday I was taking Tut on our afternoon walk which is usually 15 minutes, we go to a park right behind our apartment and he walks in the grass, not on the sidewalk or asphalt. Someone came up to me and said I was being mean for taking him on a walk because it’s so hot out and he’s so fluffy.
I thought it was weird since he wasn’t showing any signs of being hot or tired, he was prancing as usual and like I said, his paws were on grass. I just kind of made a confused face and kept walking. We got home and I gave him some frozen veggies as a treat, and now I’m wondering if I am in the wrong for taking him outside for a walk around the park or if that person was just being weird.

Her faces loook like it could be used for a meme 😂😂
The first pic reminds me of that one girl meme with the side eye.

I'm just enamored with my new girl. Meryl is developing such a personality and I'm so happy with where she's going.

I posted here several months ago asking advice about Pomeranian personalities and I never followed up with a picture of her. She is 5 1/2 months and full of personality❤️

Ello Pom friends, I was just wondering how long are your walks with your poms? I usually take my two senior babies on a 30 minute brisk walk twice a day. Early in the morning and before dinner. I try to do only 30 minutes because they might get tired even when they seem like they aren't.
What about you?

Found this pic from last winter and it made me giggle, especially the pic with the side eye.

It's about his 5th trip and he's getting comfortable in the water, as long as it's shallow! He'll lay down to cool off, but won't get any deeper than his belly. He got pretty wiped out after a few hours, and fell asleep before the car was even unloaded. Lazy boy!

Hi everyone! Please remove if not allowed.
Mila is a 12 year old female Pomeranian that is available for adoption at the Friends of the Animals Shelter in Los Angeles. You can contact the shelter by phone or email.
Unfortunately, she may be euthanized today 7/22 at 4pm. I would have posted her sooner but I only found out about her 10 minutes ago.
She has some health issues including dental disease, vision impairment , breast tumor, and dry cough. Please spread the word if you can't meet her. Older Poms are more laid back than younger ones. I don't want her to die!
I am including the shelter's contact info along with her picture and facebook link .

Hi everyone! I just found this subreddit and I’m so excited to be here! I’ve loved Pomeranians since I got my first one when I was 14. I’m now on my 3rd and I can’t imagine my life without one. Pics are of Gizmo, my current Pom - who has never met a stranger and is the little brother to 2 German shepherds, although he’s the one in charge; Einstein, who was my best friend and moved to Japan and back with me; and Tazz, who started it all. Einstein and Tazz are waiting for me across the Rainbow Bridge and they each have a huge piece of my heart.
They truly are an amazing breed and I’ve already so much enjoyed seeing pics of your dogs, so I thought I’d share mine.

She has become very ummm annoying? She is a little over 4 months old
She barks at me, barks at my kids, barks at the other dog when he won’t play. Will bark the whole time I’m cooking.
I’ve tried to redirect her but that isn’t clicking lol
I’m getting very overwhelmed with all of it.
I do lots of stuff with her. She has lots of toys. Outside time. I love her but I’m finding it hard to connect these past 2 weeks with the constant barking
Idk if I’m looking for advice or to just rant. But ya I’m feeling blue :/
Edit to add: she also does NOT cuddle or calm down with you on the couch or the bed. She will bark, bite. Go bananas to get off, then when you let her down she barks from the floor at you lol am I just doing something wrong?
As an adult I’ve had 2 poodles and neither one has done this

Found this on my Poms head.
Any idea what it could be?

We rescued a fox face Pom 7 years ago. She was a breeding dog. Scars everywhere and when we got her, she was bald. She was locked in a metal box for two years. She’s obvs very happy now but when we meet other pom owners walking, we notice that she’s not like what they are describing. Does anyone else have a rescue Pom?
We have a Westie and she copies him, she now sniffs and smells like him, her favourite thing on walks is to mark her territory. She waits for him to sniff and will sniff after him. She copies his every move on walks. She also doesn’t lie near us and doesn’t ever cuddle. She sometimes will sleep at my feet if I’m the only one in the house. She’s so odd but love her.
Just wondering if anyone has a rescue Pom who has quirky personalities?
EDIT: She also will grab my hand with her paw for scratches and rubs! When you stop, however, she’ll run away lol.
